  1. I bought a malev kite on my alt and disassembled it (LF Genocidal + Undead Slayer on one Gizmo), then I realized (remembered) that I need to discover Undead comps at Lv. 54 before I use them. I was Lv. 23. Weeeeelllll back to Fishing I suppose heh. Just about enough gp leftover to make 6 rod-o-matics and get basic perks for it.
  2. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Experience#Relationship_with_level As for the second, tip.it is not related to Jagex in any way and asking here no one can give you an answer. ;p
  3. That treasure trail reward briefly makes you think you got a crappy reward, with those firelighters, and then you notice the large number and the dark thing hiding against the dark background and realize that's not the case.
  4. Also this update is the 6,666th thread in Announcements forums.
  5. It is, but also nobody on reddit actually cares about having any kind of meaningful discussion.
  6. Well, what kind of games do you like? :P (also hi)
  7. These are advertising spambots anyway. I realized a few minutes after posting when I saw the other 2 similar posts lol. They had the advertising in their signatures and they post vague posts that pretend to be interested in the topic, not sure why only their signatures were removed because I'm pretty sure that kind of spambot goes back after the fact to edit advertising into their posts but eh.
  8. No, I'm aware. But they enlisted the help of volunteer helpers to respond to @JagexSupport queries in their place, even though said volunteers do not work with Jagex and can't actually help with the majority of real customer support queries. Tweet @JagexSupport, most likely than not you'll get a response from those volunteer community helpers while Jagex's actual customer service ignores you completely because they consider the job done.
  9. Lol @JagexSupport is crap because they basically have 85% random players they assigned as community helpers, who aren't actually able to help with 85% of the issues that people have that require Jagex Support help. They don't even know what they're talking about for most of the stuff they "try" to "help" with either. Asking @JagexSupport for help is basically on the same level as asking a PMod in game for customer support. They don't work for Jagex, they don't have access to any of the resources that would let them help you (except the average PMod is smart enough to actually -read- what you're telling them before responding lol.) (Also a security flaw because it's easy for someone to make a twitter account like @JagexHelpRandomname, they -easily- pass off as real because of every other unofficial Jagex Helper account, and they got more than enough time to steal people's info before Jagex starts trying to warn people against them, unlike Blizzard where every CS tweet -always- comes from @BlizzardCS. Too bad Jagex for some reason can't justify putting any actual resources into Customer Support.)
  10. You need to pick up Divine charges, either gather the energies and get the simple parts yourself, to make your own, or buy them off the G.E. Your divine charge pack depletes as you use your augmented equipment, when the charges reach 0 they stop gaining equipment exp and they have the stats of Lv. 1 equipment, until you recharge your pack.
  11. Managed to do this while I was half asleep for some reason.
  12. Well I mean, if you don't have a time limit for it, maybe you can afk some easy monster that can't possibly KO you, get all your combat stats to 99, make it easier to finish those quests without dying.
  13. 2.2k total Not sure when I'll get the motivation to pick up seeds and start farm runs but I'm going to Runespan once I finish with 2M fishing exp (just a bit over 80 but I like going the extra step for the extra exp milestone.)
  14. Dang yeah, at 187M exp it's about time.
  15. When you siphon the exp, you keep the gear, and the augment on it. It just goes back to item level 1 and you can start over. You can remove the augment from it later if you wish, by using an augment dissolver. If your gear is degradable this will return your gear to you fully degraded and you just have to repair it, but non-degradable gear doesn't suffer from that.
  16. When I leveled up Hunter, Grenwall spikes were like, not even 200gp each, so yeah. I didn't get to do that while getting Hunter. :P Used Crystallise anyway, which is still some profit right now but way less haha.
  17. I gave in to the temptation lol, rip 26m. But now I'm the proud owner of two of those pretties. (Caught the left one looking at the camera, he's looking straight into your soul!) No regrets. While I'm there I might as well see how efficiently I can hunt for Grenwalls on two characters at once, also figure out the difference between 80 and 99 at Grenwalls haha. --- Edit: Just got back from a little under an hour at Grenwalls (55 minutes or so.) 99 Hunter: 2927 Grenwall spikes --> 3,699,728gp 80 Hunter: 1990 Grenwall spikes --> 2,515,360gp Not sure how much or how often I'd do this because that was really intensive but, tasty. Even more so if/once I might get my alt to 99 Hunter too.
  18. If you're interested in making money through skilling, Hunter offers decent opportunities right now. If you get that 73 to 77 and complete Tirannwn Medium diaries, you can start hunting Grenwalls and you're on your way to making 2m an hour from it (3m at 99.) I find it to not be too intensive to do and it's nice while watching something on the side or something. :P PvM offers higher gp per hour but that's at the more end-game bosses and I guess that's up to you to decide when you're ready for those. ;p I believe QBD still offers decent money per hour and might even be better than Grenwalls still. That's low-tier PvM nowadays and you shouldn't have -too- much trouble with it. For Slayer yeah anima core is nice, but it shouldn't be your main goal right now because Bandos/Armadyl/Subjugation are more than enough. Get rid of Gano and sell your Drygore maces, buy Dragon Rider lance (*much* better than Drygores for Slayer) and Robes of subjugation. If you still have money leftover, look into Shadow glaives for Ranged to replace Royal crossbow. Once you have a bit more money, sell Virtus wand and get Wand of the Cywir elders (upgrade Virtus book to Orb of the Cywir elders later, I wouldn't buy one right now since I doubt you'd have the money left at that point but also it just came out so you might want to wait for prices to settle down.) Once you have those, you could start working towards Anima Core, but I recommend going for Noxious longbow and/or Noxious staff instead (perhaps Noxious scythe as well) since these will give you a much bigger power increase over upgrading gwd1 gear to anima core.
  19. So many good updates and I didn't even look at the patch notes yet, lol. Helwyr offhand should have been a thing since March 29 2016 but w/e.
  20. Grats rip Also your character looks unimpressed lol.
  21. Glad you've got it if it's your favourite; Ace is my favourite myself so I'm trying to get it, it's too bad I got my first 99 levels before skilling pets were a thing, maybe I'd have gotten it from getting to 99 then. :P
  22. Yeah but RSOF has always sucked lol Most of what contributed to it sucking and dying off quickly is because the site's layout is horrible and Jagex never bothered trying to make their forums pleasant to use. The fansite forums use much better forum software. :P Nowadays though main reason why forums die off is because of reddit. Already been talked about in previous pages, but why bother with forums when you can make a quick username on reddit where thousands of other people are and browse through dozens of thread quicker than you'd read through one regular forums thread? The main tip.it website is irrelevant now and imo it's not worth keeping up to date anymore outside of the calculators. It wouldn't be worth it, the info already exists elsewhere, there is no incentive for anyone to start using tip.it for runescape news and information over reading main RS page/reddit, or using the wiki for the latter. Calculators already bring people to tip.it website, if they don't find the link to the forums from there or they simply aren't interested in the forums I don't think the rest of the website will either tbh. Best way to bring in more people would be via word of mouth, finding like-minded people who are interested in regular forums over reddit.
  23. FYI they've fixed it today, so you can buy one on the G.E. now.
