  1. I wish people would read. Then everyone would vote yes. Nothing taken from live, No delays in live. More income for jagex. Over budget increase from that. If anything you're voting against a better live RuneScape. Which is boarderline retarded and selfish.
  2. So it's not a vote then. Thanks for proving my point. Really, does it even matter?
  3. I agree bubs. Any P2P or long term F2P maybe.
  4. If you read, no resources will be moved. Maybe some minor. But theyl pay for a team (probably using membership from voters) Really.. its kind of selfish not to allow expansion. And with this type of vote, a no is not a needed option. Simply because we are showing intrest. Its so they can use a budget more effectively. It dont effect anyone else.
  5. Guys, the problem with "change" is that updates like EoC and the first free trade removal damage the community on an impact more than just playing style. It destroys the game they joined. I dont think anyone has the right to say adapt or quit because of a huge update. Its selfish. I personally will play both. But I wont touch combat unless its in a quest (live), The community was stronger back then from having the free trade freedom. Its a beautiful enviroment to play in. I for one am quite excited because everything I do on the servers will contribute to the build of it. That alone is quite amazing. Mod MMG has a FAQ in the thread in general here it is :
  6. The reason it wont be empty is because they clearly made the biggest mistake in the classic servers of closing them. These will be open to anyone. Exciting time. Building RuneScape from the ground up.
  7. An update guys! http://services.runescape.com/m=news/2007---old-school-runescape-you-vote Looks like we are getting some 07 servers!!
  8. To be quite honest. There is no other way to put this. Level up my X does sound gay as [bleep].
  9. I personaly think you just wnjoy casual enjoy games time to time. If you feel like doing the new skills. Just do them at a comftable rate. Same with logging in to do updates such as quests. Just make it casual. You've made your mark its no reason to be scared to let go. Being the number 1 player has also opened alot of door outside RS as well as in it. Youtube would mean instant views and publicity meaning you can make a living and enjoy life. I guess thats one perk of spending all that time getting 5B xp.
  10. Small question, in the last region do trade good come up more often? concidering theres very little use for other items like jade once all upgrades and crew have been bought.
  11. No rush anyway since im getting my own sets of armors first :D.
  12. Possible it could be that. And I never exploited any glitches. I didnt even know if I could or how. And I do 8 average a day in bowl. Which i guess because of my sleeping pattern im missing extra voyages in bowl.
  13. Re-rolls, people rushing to pincers without doing many upgrades, etc... I've not really missed any voyages ina day though. bowl slowed me down being 9 hour voyages etc meaning 6-8 a day
  14. Im only now 50% through bowl region with 4 ships full crew untill Pincer and most upgrades. How come everyone else is ahead of me by insane amounts when I have done this constantly from day 1 and not missed much voyages. Did I miss something along the lines?
  15. I think Jagex should take more time to think about what the updates do to the game and research if it would be lasting content. Else they either mess the game up a little more or create dead upon dead content. One thing as a company it lacks is good vision and strong content concepts.
  16. I kind of hope Andrew Gower will say something to Suomi. Even though he is not with Jagex. Hes achieved alot from the game hes created.
  17. I think jagex should think outside the box more, and make more rewards for both quests and minigames than just XP. Any update that offers XP as a reward is asking to be dead content.
  18. 50 Chi, 50 Bones. What is life!
  19. Suomi like I said, Youtube! just being you means a great kickstarter.
  20. Run, and never turn back.
  21. Mark mentioned alot of crazy ass shit tbh. I think hes just stiring it all up though. Like perma death RuneScape, read the post you'll see it all.
  22. It would be such a shame if suomi got xp lamps from the free 5 spins Jagex would give (I know its a joke)
  23. I dont think they actually doubled it to be honest. I highly doubt micro payments even came close to in profits to be doubling the team. Wages are around 20-50k a year depending on experience and role per person.
  24. The thing is about the arguement of dirrecting people onto the project is, we dont know Jagex' game plan. Nor do we know what they can spare. There could be developers working on small projects that dont NEED to be in the game for a few months. These things can easily be worked around. Whilst Yes I understand its not so simple. But its no so hard either.
  25. People like this I estimate would last 1-3 months before the lack of a GE and dwindling player numbers made them lose interest. Purely because they will come to see Nostalgia-scape and Reality-scape are nothing alike due to a mixture of rose-tinted factor of nostalgia, lack of the original community that played a big part in making the game what it was, the lack of modern conveniences we are all used to (eg the GE) and the ever-dwindling player-base. I think people underestimate the game we want to play. We loved what it was back then and thats why it was so fun. I dont see harm in wanting or getting that. And I think its wrong for someone to oppose something that doesn't effect them the slightest. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing. But I can assure you I want pre EoC not for that but for the game I loved to play. Its like when I reply the original spyros, I love them. I have great childhood memories but I still love it. I replay it multiple times a year. I hate new Spyro games because they destroyed it. With lack of homeworlds and gem collecting is not as important etc. The point is. Thats the RuneScape we loved to play. Nostalgia has a small influence. Im quite excited to build RuneScape from the ground up if it were to be released. Whilst you all say ohh its just an opinion. Dont forget that your points are all opinions too! If you want any legit feedback or discussion about these things. You'll allways have to find a middle ground and that in all fairness would lead to pre-eoc servers. It doesn't effect the EoC/Jagex lovers. And the old loyal players will be able to play the game they want. Anyone whos selfish enough to oppose to such things out of hate in an arguement doesn't deserve a legit statement in the topic. Its like your country giving a 3rd world country food/water/medical. It doesn't effect you dirrectly yet some people moan about helping them. Which is just being a bad person.
