  1. true I sometimes can get 1k+ range xp per hit at pest control. And if those monsters at pest control can stack up, you know it's a low lvl world so chinchomping them instead of attacking portal is not a bad thing since more than half probably not attacking the portal.
  2. should go down to dagganoth someday and witness someone using a cannon. All the dagganoth will be attacking that one person.
  3. dagganoth sounds like a good idea though never tested it out. Wear like high defense armour and bring a cannon so it attracts them all into an area and red chinchompa them all muhahaha! That must be one mad range xp if it works. Can anyone verify this?
  4. just to add to your insightful guide. I found wearing the bomber jacket and hat given after the quest also lowers your weight. And since I hate walking I've incorporated the oak plankings to my construction power lvling. Whenever my energy drains to 0 and my patience wears thin, I'll go make oak larders with those planks until my energy returns to 0 or I used up all those oak planks.
  5. sharks is not even close to being quickest xp, but there's lots to profit from shark fishing and I'm trying to get a shark head! Quickest method to lvling is the same old feather fly fishing method. Anywhere between 30k and upwards xp/hour.
  6. does barb harpoon increase your chances of catching sharks or it's just for decoration purposes like strung rabbitt foot :ohnoes:
  7. when i took my 517 day break from rs, there was only 2 lvl 126. Lillyuffie and one other guy I can't remember. Me (lvl 124) and Zez (lvl 125) were doing ecto. Since I came back wow everyone's a 99'er by far. Like most got 50 mil+ in one particular skill. Lots have changed. Oh yeah prayer is way too easy. I just raised it from lvl 84 to lvl 87 in one day at my gilded altar.
  8. I remember getting 85 slayer and selling them for around 25 mil easily. Sometimes it would take days to get a whip and some days it would be as easy as 4 whips within 2 hours. But anyways I'm going for 90 slayer to try out the new monsters and maybe more because Jagex may realize a higher slayer lvl monsters with nice drops. Besides slayer is fun if you want to raise your combat skills but getting 85 and stopping just to get whips is pointless.
  9. man this was like 5 years ago. I died maging a skeleton just outside that dragon on karamja island that you do that dragon slayer quest which was like the ultimate quest at that time to wear and buy rune plate I think it was. I lost my full runes with kite (mined 1000 silver ores for it) and was sooooooo fricking pissed that I threw my mouse and it shattered. Wrote like crazy to Jagex about their bug. They couldn't return my items but few months later they fixed that bug.
  10. rsn: Psycho44 combat lvl: 124 range lvl: 94 Have no clue where to get fire cape. Besides 4 skill capes is sufficient enough. Man Jagex needs to expand my bank with all the 99's I will be hittng.
  11. or worse players that think they owned that world so want you to switch servers at your own inconvenience when it's something that is bothering them. Yeah you can say it's common courtesy to switch world when someone's been there before you, but I say only if it's an inconvenience on your targetted xp goal.
  12. did my clue that was in the bank for almost 600 days. Got magic comp bow and guthix braces out of it.
  13. low lvls or anyone asking me to add them to their friendlist. 1) I don't understand how someone asking for an emote demonstration as annoying. Why purchase it in the first place if you're not going to share the emote experience. I own 4 skill capes and get asked a lot, and I'll happily click my cape emote without typing a word and they'll say thank and marrily go on their way. 2) Cannons. Constantly debated but if you know a spot such as dagganoths or even fire giants at waterfall attract cannons, than why train there? There is lots of other training spots that aren't good for cannons. Otherwise I don't find anything annoying on RS.
  14. I used rabbit foot for first time today. Got my first tree seed. Acorn! Than got maple seed and pineapple seed and bird's egg??? What does bird's egg do? So yep it's working because all the other time I've been chopping at the same tree at the same spot, I've never gotten a tree seed.
  15. combat 110. I'm just 14 combat lvls greater and haven't gained a combat lvl in last 2 years, lol.
  16. another way you can look at it is you're saving yourself 100 hours that you can spend doing something else to generate money. Let's just throw away your theory on the money generating part after 91 rcing to recuperate loses from FFL. There's lots of other ways to generate money and get faster xp too, LarryR prime example. K, picture a timeline of 250 hours. Got it visualized? SO let's say dude doing FFL, he's not going to pile 100 mil right away as it's made to sound like. It's over the long run of 150 hours. But anyways he gets 91 rcing at 150 hours. His next 100 hours, he's doing double natures with or without runners. So dudette doing abyss solo nature gets 91 rcing over 250 hours. Straight forward assuming of course her sanity is still in check. So who's better off now when you consider both at a standard time frame of 250 hours?
  17. i like daggy. Bring my cannon and whip and away we goooooooo! Nooooo noob with cannon.
  18. it's random because I always plant 4 fruit trees at 4 seperate spots a day. Next day 1 tree would be riped while the others would take hours afterwards. Frustrates the hell out of me but oh well.
  19. k, I took your advice and put the 4 in farming into maples seeing as most don't put it into farming. if you want to get farming up put it on maples instead, the tree seeds you get are way better exp than any allotment seeds you can get, also you can sell the higher ones that you can use for a bit profit, and the nests, and the maples themsleves lol
  20. i just finished royal trouble quest and put in 5,040,022 mil. I think the maximum is 5 mil but oh well. I'll see how it goes on Christmas eve. Seems lots of people put in maple for the profit i guess or something. I put 10 workers to teak, 4 to farming and 1 to coal. Originally I wanted mahogony but looking at the RS market, there is more demand for teak than mahogony. I"ll probably sell them and buy oak logs to get my construction up. The 4 to farming is for my personal use to get my farming skill up and the coal also helps somewhat to get my smithing up and reduces my dependent on buying steel bars thus potentially saving me money.
  21. one of the best guides I've seen! I love to see facts backed by actual calculations. And you even mention other courses as well like werewolves which does involve lots of food and a far walk to. Just to add to your guide. Spottier capes gives -3kg weight. Ape Atoll definitely better than wilderness agility as you don't have to worry about food and annoying pkers. You can also bring a rope to pick off those red bananas which are delicious.
  22. they deliver and vanish never to be seen again. So you have to go catch another one. What a huge disappointment. I'm going to save you a day worth of hunting training by advising you to get hunting to lvl 68 and use hunting potion when you try to catch an imp in a box. Than if you like it go the extra mileage for 71 hunting.
