Real life pictures - 3
I haven't had a good picture of me taken in a long time, but now I have one. Can the current picture be replaced by this one, please? [hide=Me][/hide] http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y179/bloodyhatchetbear420/Me20090313.jpg I got a haircut the other day, so I took a picture of myself with my phone. That's why it looks all grainy.

useless laws.
Where did you get that list? It's a pretty long one. I'd like to share a few from my home state of Massachusetts. Some of them are a little rediculous. It is illegal to give beer to hospital patients. All men must carry a rifle to church on Sunday. No gorilla is allowed in the back seat of any car.

Wine and alchohol discussion
I've actually had a nice rhubarb white wine last Thanksgiving. It was actually tangy and sweet. It was nice. I usually stay away from fine wines, mainly because they're usually too expensive for my taste. Then again, I don't drink much of anything too often.

Abortion: Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA)
Here is my final say in the matter - If a teenage girl is not mature or responsible enough to go about things the right way, then they are not mature or responsible enough to make the decision whether or not to keep a baby.
-
Abortion: Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA)
Pretty much the point of the bill is so parents can't do that. If the daughter thinks that the parent doesn't respect or trust them enough to let them make their own decision, they shouldn't have to tell the parent. Then the bill is taking away parental rights, which makes parenting even harder. Kids are already getting screwed up, the government is just making it worse.

Abortion: Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA)
I am very glad that I came back to TIF today. I didn't know about this bill prior to checking, due to the fact that I'm not a fan of the news. I didn't read all of the posts, but I did read the actual text of the bill. Personally, I hope this bill doesn't pass, mainly because of the underage thing. There are other ways of dealing ith an unwanted pregnancy, one of which is adoption. Also, not having the parents involved negates any form of parenting. Until a child is 18, the parents have the legal right to make decisions for the minor child, and by passing this bill, it makes it ok or a young woman to screw up, and not have to tell her parents, which is a load of BS. If it were my daughter, I would want to know about it, and personally, I would make her go through the pregnancy and then give the child up for adoption. Did you know that it is alot easier for a newborn to get adopted than it is for any other age of child? In fact, most plans for newborn adoptions are made before the mother even gives birth. I only agree with abortions when it puts the mother or the baby at a fatal risk. Any other reason, and it's morally wrong. You screw up, you gotta deal with it. If you don't want the child, at least have the baby and give it up for adoption, so someone who can't physically have kids has the chance to raise one. And no, I'm not Catholic, or any kind of Christian. That's just my beliefs on the subject. EDIT: It figures, Hillary Clinton has to be involved in this.

Fishing and Cooking... My Journey! ~99 Cooking & New Goals!~
bloodyhatchetbear replied to bloodyhatchetbear's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)I'm BAAAACK I'm continuing on my 99 fishing goal that I have put off for too long due to real life. Real life sucks, mmkay? I have, I think, enough feathers to get me to 99 fishing, so I'm gonna actually do it. When I get a date set for a party, I'll let everyone know.

The history of your forum/game name.
My names actually have decent histories. bloodyhatchetbear - Back in the day when I spent half of my waking life in chatrooms, I was in this one specific room, and was in tere quite often. Every once in a while we'd all go and make chat names that all have something to do with each other. The one time I joined in the theme was "Bad Care Bears". There were a whole bunch of them, Stabbing Hearts Bear, Discord Bear, all kinds. I chose mine from the fact that I like this cetain music group, and they mention hatchets alot in their music. The person who started this whole thing did bear pictures to go along with all the names, and mine just kinda stuck. Jasmine Tobb - Stems from Jasmine Tobbin, an RP name I created when I was like 15. Since RS wouldn't let me use that many letters, I shortened it down alot. Robo Ginseng (one of my nub accounts) - When the new Tutorial thingy came out, I made this account to check it out. I couldn't think of a name, so I looked around the room. I saw a toy robot dog thingy, and a can of Mountain Dew Supernova, which has ginseng in it. Thus, the name was born. So, if you're ever stuck on making a new account name, look around for inspiration.

Surgery -gulps-
I just went through my surgery today. I'm at a friend's house at the moment, mainly because it's a bit calmer here. It definitely wasn't as bad as I though it was gonna be. Thank you guys for the support. Although I think I scared the nurses. I woke up just a wee bit sooner than they though I would. Luckily it wasn't during the surgery ^_^ But hey, I'm up and walking around sooner than I thought. The pain meds make me a wee bit loopy though.

Surgery -gulps-
I lol'ed The only time you should trust doctors is if they know what they are doing and can diagnose properly, which doesn't happen often. If they can't diagnose something, they will say it's nothing and tell you to come back in a week to spend more money. My grandpa was bleeding out of multiple spots for no reason, and his doctor said it was nothing. I believe bleeding is not normal -.- Well, it all depends on the doctor. Usually (at least around here) a good doctor will send you for tests (blood, MRI, EKG) if they don't know what the problem is right off. The surgeon that's gonna be operating on me is very trustable. He has a nice bedside manner, and was also highly recommended by my "aunt" (one of those family friends that isn't really related, but you've been calling them "aunt" or "uncle" for years) who had a back surgery done on her by this particular surgeon. They also had a pamphlet in the surgeon's office at the hospital about all the surgeons, saying where they went to school and did their residencies. This guy did his residency at Belleview, which is a highly recognized hospital.

What adverts annoy you most?
What I hate about them is that they advertise on channels that they expect fat people with low self esteem to watch. Comedy Central, G4, [bleep]e TV, etc. They're basically saying "are you fat? If you're watching this TV channel, you probably are. Buy this product, you unattractive freak. Then go back to watching South Park without leaving a butt mark on your seat." Another commercial I hate are those Billy Mays commercial. He talks WAY TOO LOUDLY. "Scream scream scream! I'm Billy Mays!!!!!!!! Buy this product!!!!!! Look how well it works!!!!! Scream scream scream!!!!! Call now!!!". Someone needs to tell that guy that CAPS LOCK IS NOT NECESSARY ALL THE TIME. Exactly. By having those commercials on those specific channels, it's calling the ENTIRE demographic fat and ugly. Billy Mays may be annoying, but I will admit, the stuff he's advertizing for does works. The only reason I know this is because of buying some of them on a whim from the store (mostly the cleaning produsts) and trying it. What channels have you been watching....? :-s Lenin, they show alot of the "male enhancement" commercials on TruTV. The demographic is usually older males/couples who enjoy watching shows like Cops and Forensic Files.

What makes you angry?
This is gonna be a little long, because I have additions to make on many posts in this thread. Sorry ^_^ [hide=List of fixes and agreements] Would you like to take my little brother home? All he does is talk and talk and talk, and is a spoiled rotten BRAT. Fixed. And agreed. I completely forgot about that one. Oh, and when someone even more impatient than yourself is behind you and they blame the slowness on you. Many times have I been in lines at stores dealing with both of those. Fixed. I'm a fat chick, and I wouldn't be caught dead in a bikini, and I don't know why other chicks do. People who automatically think something is bad just because one person went about it wrong and don't study it for themselves aggravate me. It's even worse when you hafta follow someone around and keep up with them while they ride one of those motorized cart thingies, while you're pushing a cart that's almost overflowing with groceries. Alot of teenagers think that whatever their issue is is the worst thing in the world. Go live out on the streets with no food for a few days, see how bad it is then. (*NOTE* not all teenagers are like this) Life insurance commercials feed on people's fear of death. And while Billy Mays may be annoying as hell, if he's speaking for it, you know it works. (I've tried a bunch of the products he's spoken for, and they do work as claimed.) Add spelling to that, and you've got my complex. Fixed and agreed. Above quote should be labeled as "stupid heartless people". Neatens it up more.[/hide] Thus ends my list of fixes and additions. I would also like to add that I hate people who don't know what the "Speed Limit" sign means. I mean come on, it doesn't say "50" for you to go 30.

What adverts annoy you most?
I second that notion. There are a few that annoy me, but for different reasons than most people. The GGW commercials that are on late-night during SP annoy me. I mean, I know the demographic for that show is 17-24 male, but still. There are better places for that ad. Another one is that stupid Lipozene stuff. It's supposedly this wonderful weight-loss product. Now how are you gonna get customers by calling them "unattractive"? Not really nice, now is it? Those are the ones that annoy me, for very odd reasons I know.

Awful Pun Humor

Thanks for the words of support, guys. ^_^ My biggest fear is actually not waking up from the anesthesia. I know it's silly, but you never know :ohnoes:

Surgery -gulps-
Ok, here's the deal. I'm going into surgery in about a week and a half for a removal of a pilonidal sinus. Basically, it's a really, REALLY bad infection, and it's right on my tailbone. Let's just say, I am scared carpless right now. I don't like the idea of anesthesia. I don't like the idea of someone cutting me up and stitching me back together. Unfortunately, it kinda needs to be done. I got a couple links for you guys to check out, if you want to. http://www.pilonidal.org/whatitis.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilonidal_cyst http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and- ... ndial-cyst So, basically, I'm trying to see if anyone else here has shared the fears of going under the knife. How bad was it? How long did it take to recover? Do you still have the scars? I'm just curious, and scared for myself.

Just out of curiosity, how many people answered "No" to #1?
