The Buttered Cat
That would cause the very fabric of time to unravel, and completely destroy the universe. It's like pushing the big red button. DON'T DO IT! ^ Or turning a bag of holding inside out. [/nerdmoment] The first time I saw this thread, I thought "Now why would anyone butter a cat?"

Fishing and Cooking... My Journey! ~99 Cooking & New Goals!~
bloodyhatchetbear replied to bloodyhatchetbear's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)Since my last post, I have been distracted by pretty updates and other skills... But I think I'll finally get another fishing level. Hopefully by the end of today, I'll have 96 fishing, and be just that little bit closer to 99.

Greatest Invention
Soap. Yes that's right, soap. Why? Because, without soap, there would be no modern sterilization, and therefore diseases would be much more prevalent in our modern society. It also revolutionized surgical medicine, making alot of amputations a thing of the past. Quite a few amputations were performed, before the days of soap, because of severe infections. With modern sterilization, there was less of a risk of infection, therefore less need for amputations.

Standard Poodle and Pomeranian=Good Family Mix? (Dogs)
I know about those concerns, but I will tell you that I have had shelter dogs in the past (in fact one was a Chihuahua that was a rescue that, if we didn't take her, she would have been put down for having broken cervical bones and couldn't breed. Other than that she was perfectly healthy, and lived to be about 15-16 years old.) and they have just as healthy and happy lives in a loving home as a breeder's dog would. Most of the time, if a dog in a shelter is really that bad off, to where the quality of life for the dog is severely impaired due to really horrible abuse, they will be euthanized. But this is only in those cases where nothing can be done to help the dog, and is done purely to end said dog's suffering. I honestly wish I could get a dog where I live right now. Then again, maybe it's not such a bad thing, since I'd be liable to adopt the whole shelter of all the animals there. I love animals As for predicting your pom's death, there is no real knowledge of when any creature is going to die. If he's slowing down, it's because of old age, not due to any illness. If he's not, then roll with it. It happens naturally to every living being. Although a good check-up isn't a bad idea for the old boy.

Standard Poodle and Pomeranian=Good Family Mix? (Dogs)
Just out of curiosity, why are you buying a dog? Why not try a local shelter and adopt? It's less expensive, and you'd be saving a dog from a bad fate. It may not be "purebred" or whatever, but it would be easier, and better.

Beijing 2008
To be honest, the summer Olympics bore me. I don't watch them. However, boycotting the Olympics purely for political reasons is doing a disservice to the athletes who represent your country. In fact, you should be rooting for said athletes even harder to kick China's rears. But that's just my opinion.

Standard Poodle and Pomeranian=Good Family Mix? (Dogs)
What I would do is bring the older dog to meet the new dog first. A short introduction would be a very good idea. Also, there won't be any feelings of "being replaced". This may sound callous, but he's a dog, not a human. If they don't get along, it has nothing to do with underlying jealousy, or feelings of "being replaced". Dogs live a day-to-day existence. They don't live for the future.

10 year old wife gets divorced after being raped and beaten
The fact of the matter is this: the husband not only did something dispicable by beating and raping a 10 year old girl, but by not keeping up his end of the marriage bargain, he should not have been paid said money. He has promised to not touch her until she was 20, and that is technically a breach of contract. I know it sounds a little odd to call it a "contract" but that's exactly what a marriage is, a contract. As for the whole "universal" meaning of marriage, this is how marriage started out, arranged weddings for social and monetary gain. That's also how the dowry came into play, "I trade you my daughter for two goats and a chicken". Marriage, when it started, had absolutely NOTHING to do with love.

Actually, some of the stuff I saw in those threads that were taken away were innappropriate for the 13-15 range, in my opinion. But we still should go into conversations over the "ratings" stuff, considering it isn't our decision. It's the decision of the mods and admin to keep the forum clean. If you want to have the power to make said decisions, make your own forum.

Ignoring works... they say.
My first question I have to ask is what grade you're in. Usually that'll tell you what kind of bully they are. I only have ever been "bullied" once, and that was in 5th grade (wow that was a long time ago), but it stopped when my older brother witnessed it and beat them bloody. Of course, he was also 3 times the other kids size, so that didn't help. I've never been bullied since. Never mess with the fat guy's little sister har har. Here's another scenario. My little brother is 8, and was bullied all the time by this one kid on his bus. The one time that the kid went too far and hit Hunter (that's my little bro), my mother stepped in, because the bully was a spoiled rotten little brat. When she went to talk to the kid's father, she scared the little brat so bad, he almost wet himself. That in combination with reverse psychology helped to get at least some sense into that little brat. BTW Hunter never did tell any teaher, my mother did that instead, when Hunter refused to do it. It really is the age of the kid that matters. I will say this though, try reverse psychology. It works better than ignoring the kid.

I'm gonna be honest, it's about time some of those threads were removed. They didn't "offend" me, so to speak, but it was a little too... what word do I want? Mature? Immature? Anywho, yeah. They weren't quite age-appropriate. And yes, I know that there's the whole "it's 13+" thing, but younger people bypass that by lieing about their age (hell, my little brother does it to sign up for game sites, and he's only 8... a smart kid he is, he knows what year to use for 13+, and he's been doing it since he was 6). So by saying this is 13+ doesn't mean anything. Also, I'm not sure if it really was the RL pics thread that brought trollers here. So taking that away won't change anything at all, really. It just will force others to find other ways outside of TIF to see what each other looks like. Anywho, good job on the clean-up, and good luck with the future cleanings as well. I know you'll need all the luck in the world at times.

Viacom Vs. You
cheese, they can try. But, they will never succeed! -insert evil laughter here- Anywho, yeah I posted said video response. Unfortunately, I can't post it here because of foul language. Also, there's an online petitiony thingy attached to that video's Description. Just thought I oughtta point that out.

Viacom Vs. You
If that was directed to me, that's not what I linked it to. It was directed at anyone who would in future link to it. Was giving fair warning. BTW as we speak, I'm uploading a video response. I felt like ranting for a bit on it, besides on this thread. I just needed this video so I could do the response... My browser decided to crash on me, so I couldn't save it as a favorite.

Viacom Vs. You
This video does not fall under "Random YouTube Videos" because it has material for discussion. Honestly, Viacom needs to back off. Although I don't watch many networks that they run, I will no longer be using their services of any kind. Have fun losing customers, stupid slimeballs.

Guess This Kid Really Wanted To Play His Nintendo Wii....
This is the thing that threw me the most. It took two days? Why? Welcome to America. This wasn't in America. Read the article next time.

Guess This Kid Really Wanted To Play His Nintendo Wii....
There are WAY too many holes in this story. I'm going to go off the beaten track for a second here... This is the thing that threw me the most. It took two days? Why? Most of the time, these deaths are either A) Asphyxiation (instant) or B) Broken neck (usually instant). Usually, it doesn't take two days to be pronounced dead. Either something else happened, or the hospital was just that damn slow. Now onto the more overly trodden path. Ok, there is a fine line between genius and insanity. If this kid was as talented as they say he was, then obviously this kid had more problems than what we're seeing. I think he was just a tiny bit over that genius/insanity border. If I'm right, the parents don't want to admit he had issues before this, or the media is overlooking it.

Well here it is: [hide=My video thingy] [/hide] And for those that don't wanna see the inbedded thing, I have a link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WY1kWW1pg1s I probably sucked majorly, but I had fun, and I shared. That's all that matter. BTW flodder, you should just have links in the first post. Making all those videos imbedded is gonna make it hard to figure out what's going on.
