Wasn't that Canada? Actually it was implemented here in some American schools as well, at least one of those schools are in my state. On topic, I never really saw this stuff when I was in high school. Then again, I went to a fairly large school, and you only had a maximum of 4 minutes to get from one class to another, and the classes were sometimes on the opposite ends of the school. So people were more interested in getting to their classes on time than talking to each other. The no touching at all thing is a little stupid. But obviously the school board isn't even listening to the parental outcry on this one, nevermind listening to what the students think.

I just have one question: which King books have you read? It would probably help alot, seeing as to how there are NUMEROUS books out there, and you maybe didn't find the right one. Me personally, I got creeped out by The Stand. I think that was mainly due to the fact that I was living in Old Orchard Beach, ME at the time that I read it, and just the description was too perfect.

I got my 76 con the other day. Didn't get a chance to post, nor did I take a screenie #-o oops. Now I'm gonna keep on fishing till I get a big shark. Or until I run out of members. But, since I got 37 days of members, I should be able to get my big shark by then.

Ok, firstly, just because someone owns manga doesn't mean he's a pedophile automatically. He's probably immature for his age, it happens alot in today's society. Secondly, no one knows why he plead guilty, but in alot of cases, it's because they really don't think they can fight the system. People get scared when in a courtroom. It's not a happy place, that much I can tell you. Thirdly, manga is a form of art. At least, I consider it art. I also consider all animation art. This new law is a bunch of BS. It's like banning books because of certain content. It's stupid.

Well, I am 356k off 99 cooking. I am so close 99, I can smell it. I think I will not be having a party, mainly due to the fact that most people will not be showing up because it's cooking as my second 99, even though I worked my behind off for it, and didn't buy the skill. But, after 99 cooking, I have a new goal, which does include fishery. I want to get a big shark in my house ^_^ It's gonna take a while, but I think I can manage it. I got to 99 fishing, what's a bit more?

Welfare in America is more or less governed by individual states. However, alot of people abuse the system immensely. Some women will go and get themselves pregnant every few years just to be able to be on welfare for longer. Of course, they put a stop to that in my state. They put a limit on how many children you can have on welfare, which means less women are adding to the population just for money. And no, this is not speculation, I've actually witnessed it firsthand with several women that I've known. It's sickening. The free welfare healthcare is also governed by the state, unless you are over 65. It's actually illegal to not have healthcare in my state, so they came up with new programs for those who cannot afford healthcare, or don't have it offered by their employers. There are like 3 different state-run health programs, all dependent upon income. So at least my state has it right with that.

They've actually started using this policy in some American schools. I personally think it's a bunch of cabbage. If you don't do the work, you need to be punished by getting a zero. This "no zeros" thing is absolutely rediculous. If this spreads as a nationwide policy, when I have kids, they're being home-schooled.

I discovered another drink I can suggest. Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay Pineapple rum and orange juice. Tropical taste, and it goes down smoother than a screwdriver.

Might I suggest changing the title of the thread? Makes one think it's something about AA meetings. At least that's what I originally thought. If you're looking for something with taste, might I suggest Kahlua Sombreros? All it is is Kahlua and milk. Really easy to make, and can be mad to taste. Also, if you're looking for something on the cheap side, that has the alcohol content of beer, but doesn't taste like cat pee, try those Smirnoff Twisted thingies. They are a bit "girly" but they would go over very well. At least, I like them.

I went for a walk today, and as I was crossing the road, a car that was trying to turn onto the road I was crossing got beeped at while waiting for me to cross. It got me to thinking. Why are we always in a hurry? Hurry to go to school, hurry to get out of school, hurry to work, hurry to appointments, hurry to vacation, hurry to eat, hurry to drive, hurry to get married. Even on Runescape, there's a hurry to level, hurry to get money, hurry to get items. Why? Why are humans always in a rush? I don't have the answer to that question, but rather a solution to the problem. Slow down! There's no need to rush everything. Stop and smell the roses. Look at the clouds and the stars for a few minutes. Relax. If you're afaid of being late for something, leave earlier. There's no reason why we should always have to rush everything. You'll get there when you get there. Using this solution has actually helped me out a bit. I actually started slowing down a few weeks ago. It's made me a less angry person. My stress level has dropped dramatically. What do you think is the problem with the world? How would you solve the "rushing" mentality?

This whole thing actually started back when television was first introduced. Instead of actually watching their kids themselves, parents would plop a kid down in front of a TV and let them watch for hours. It doesn't surprise me that with the times, there are new ways of babysitting. As far as my own gaming addiction goes, I try to do other things with my spare time. I go for walks throughout my day, and I just try to not over-do it. I'm in the process of beating one addiction (cigarettes, got the patch ^_^ ), I'm not ready to go off of the video games.

I'm 24, and my dad -still- has a tendency to make me feel like a little kid. He still calls me his "little princess" (blargh) and when I moved out he cried. Also, whenever I go over to his house, when I leave, he expects me to call him as soon as I get home so he knows I made it safely. I guess it just depends on the person, really.

If only it were truly that easy.

Yes, some survey sites do work. I actually participate in a site, do a couple surveys a day, and it pays for my Runescape members. It isn't much, but it keeps me able to play.

Wow good job I still don't know how people can cut trees all day. Then again, people don;t understand my love of fishing. Keep it up, you'll reach your goal soon enough.

I finally made one of my goals! 99 fishing! Thanks to everyone who came to the party. Now time to work on 99 cooking. That means more fishing.
