been wanting to mess around with void at nex/vorago and noticed I don't have the mage helm. Is there any friends chats for pest control or any active worlds? Thanks

Most people use range or mage. Royal xbow with royal d'hide or polypore and gano.

This is a fairly stupid argument due to the existence of comp cape and trimmed comp cape. Comp cape requires way more time that a 120 skill and still gives better bonuses than all other capes. On top of that trimmed comp is aesthetic, yes not every singe player with comp cape is going for it.

That's like saying melee is useless at nex because she prays melee on Zaros and range is useless because she prays range half the time. You have to bring a gear switch no matter what style you use. I personally tank so I bring Mage and melee and can say for certain Mage is 100x better than melee for tanking and you can still use it like 70% of the time.

False. Melee can certainly out dps magic by ALOT on p3 at Vorago and possibly p5. I've seen meleers in tetsu outdps tect and dual seismic experienced dps by over 3k xp on p3. Also I think drygores+ascensions is comparable/better than Seismics at nex, but I have no actual numbers to support that.

How are you at 100% after the kill? Do you gain adren on the worms before activating the final artefact? Do you not zerk the final phase? No I'm the joker using Ascensions so I don't even use ultimates. Keep forgetting about this, thanks xpx. Shouldn't you use deaths swiftness and unload? Just speaking from personal experience I very rarely die as a direct result from zerk. Also, zeroing lets you finish the phase in like 10 seconds (zerk+kick+sever+assault) causing you to take far less damage as she has less time for firewalls+souls+firebreath+attacking you. Wouldn't this outweigh the small chance of dying? Also if you're using a yak the food isn't really an issue.

How is it pointless? It seems to help me a lot by avoiding a lot of damage from all the special attacks or speeding up kills by not having to deal with time stops/etc. Is it in order to use thresholds on the first phase for the next kill? You probably want torva or malev for the damage boost. Start at 100 adren with a ring of vigour. Tag a reaver and use slice and dismember. Use zerk, followed by sever and punish, then assault, more basics (but NOT KICK OR BACKHAND) until she calls a blood sacrifice, use escape to get a way (this is extremely important. If you get hit it heals her 10k). Go back to her use destroy followed by kick or backhand. She'll siphon soon/now so tag a reaver and use dismember on it. You could also kill both reavers which is probably a good thing to do your first time. Next use either both thresholds or frenzy and build back up to 100%, be sure to escape the sacrifice again. Repeat the zero step. Continue until done. Good luck!

base tank vorago: t90 melee>chaotic kite>arcane/divine bomb tank vorago: ely/arcane tank nex: t90 mage>arcane/farseer (not 100% sure on this, but fairly certain. In good duo/trio you should only need shield on ice and zaros) voke kk: doesn't really matter. Technically t90 range/eagle eye kiteshield has higher mage def=less likely to get mini sniped.

Depends if you plan to go with forums teams, clan teams, and what size teams. trio nex: Torva and dry gores with death lotus and ccbs. Duo nex: Not sure anymore, haven't nexed much since mage pray, so I'm sure someone else will help you with this. Vorago 6-8 man: It'd be hard to find a forums team without at least tectonic, seismic singularity, and viand or ascensions and sirenic. If you join a PvM clan (such as the one I'm in shameless plug.) You can find teams with lower requirements. ROTS: Dual virtus or ascensions minimum.

Quick example of why I use natural instinct, mainly on p1 and p5. On p1: Enter room, build to 100%, use natural instinct, use sunshine, drink adrenaline pot and then build adrenaline until natural instinct runs out. Use both thresholds (Wild magic+asphyxiate) and then build adrenaline again to use omnipower while sunshined. Omnipower beats out any basic ability in damage and because thresholds are both on cooldown you aren't better off using them. Same goes for p5 except that you want to use natural instinct right before a reflect ends and build a bit of adrenaline before you start attacking again.

Definitely get tectonic if you plan on mainly doing Vorago and Nex solo/duo. Vorago tactics definitely watch Youtube guides. I'm relatively new to Vorago dosing so there's no major tips I can think of right now (other than making use of the natural instinct ability from The World Wakes, especially after the first reflect on the waterfall phase, and on phase one as soon as you can.)

Just did deadly reds. Got about 240k exp p/h with torva, dual raps, ovls, turm, and abilities.

Don't have 85 Slayer. What's the exp p/h like for waterfiends post buff?

Already have a decent enough slayer level (in my eyes) and want to just bust out 99 attack as fast as possible to join PSO.

I'm going to be working for 99 attack (currently 97 about 1.3m exp 'till 99) and was wonder what the best method to do this would be? Have drygores, torva/bandos, curses, overloads, etc. DO NOT have access to Fight Cauldron or Frost Dragons Things I'm thinking about doing: Deadly Red Spiders Black Demons What would be the best thing to train on?
