The official World of Warcraft thread.
There isn't one really. Just choose what playstyle you like and choose a character based on that playstyle. Most newbies pick Hunters (Great levellers, easy mode :D), other good choices are Mage (Fun, big damage if played well), Druid(Hybrid class, can shapeshift to adapt to a role, can heal, dps, range dps, and tank) I'm sure someone else could give you some more detailed information.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
I'm up for that :D If anyone wants to play some, add Teh Combined. I find CoD4 a lot more fun than WaW. Anyone else have a feeling that HCHQ would be hugely overpowered with nade spam and the fact that you can pretty much just camp and shred down any opponents easily?

[TF2] It's MANN Vs. Machine!
Eugh, I hate the way valve hypes things up :( Makes me want the update to come sooner and it feels as if it takes so much longer xD I do think that the Team Fortress dev/community team have got it right though. The blog is really awesome.

To be honest I want a slot 1 perk, unlocked at a highish level that lets you use 2 weapon attachments. AK47 with RDS and Silencer *drool* =P~

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
Bumping a pretty much dead topic but hey. Doing some research into this game and it looks pretty cool but i just wanted to know how it is? I know its a good few months after release, are there any bugs or serious balancing issues? How are mythic as a company? Is it worth getting back into it? At the moment I'm playing world of warcraft and I'm liking it although its kind of dragging for me a bit. I think I enjoy the Pvp aspect more and thats what warhammer is about right? I'm seriously considering getting it but I have no-one to play with :( Does anybody here on TiF still play? EDIT: Will be playing EU if i decide to play :)

Dawn of War 2
They sort of tried it, they tried tying in the company of heroes squadbased gameplay but then added a whole lot of other stuff which didn't make it work as good as it could have worked. Don't get me wrong, it looks like an awesome game, but it could have been much better by the looks of things.

Which Game are you most looking forward to this Year?
I feel like Killzone 2 is either going to be really good or its going to suck really bad. So far its got like perfect scores from reviewers but the reviews are from The Official PlayStation Magazine. :^o Sorry to be picky but you can't really review a game when it isnt even due for release till a month, unless they have access to the beta, which is likely, in which case i withdraw my statement. However it isn't a review, its a preview, previews are before the game comes out, and they don't get rated, previews usually consists of journalists watching some ingame footage and teaser stuff. Sorry for nitpicking :P You know NOTHING about how early journalists get games do you? I don't think he does. Magazines/websites are sent copies of the game before it comes out so that they can review them. Sometimes a few months in advance. It could be the demo build, or it could be a full release version. More often than not the latter. 9 times out of 10 then are sent a review copy which basicly is the main game and the on-line and everything without it being fully patched etc. Realised the day after when i bought the new issue of PC gamer with the Dawn of war 2 REVIEW plastered all over the front, my baaaad :)

Looking for a New Game? Ask Here!
Well I'm going to post here cause it's payday tomorow (YAY :D) and I'm not sure what to buy. I have all major consoles and a... low spec PC, but its not too bad. xD I don't really play PS3 or the Wii, so options are reduced mainly to Xbox 360 The games(Favourites) I have in my collection at the moment include: PC - Dawn of War (all expansions) Command and conquer (TW + RA3) Team fortress World of Warcraft Empire earth (WTB Moar games like this!!!) Xbox - Cod 4 + 5 Banjo kazooie N + B Rockband Mass effect Basically I'm into anything, most favourites are RTS, RPG and FPS Pc specs are - Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.06GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 2048MB RAM Hard Drive: 193 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS :-# Fire away :)

Dawn of War 2
Open beta is now live (as of 28th) go download the demo and share views! So... the PC Gamer review was kind of disapointing and excitifying at the same time. The main point it has is, it's improved everything that soulstorm had, but everything it has now could have been better, and it's not as good as the original game. Theres only one campaign which is space marines. There is a total of 6 squads to choose from throughout the game, you can have 4 at any one point in a mission. It follows a very RPG based levelling and loot system, although differences aren't really significant. Missions are very similar with defence missions, killing waves of enemys, or go kill waves of enemy units and then kill the end boss, or alternatively, plot critical missions which involve yet more defence/attack missions or capturing a quest objective. Although they did give it 82% although numbers mean nothing when coming to reviews. Basically the summery of the review is a nice RTS with great RPG elements. Relic tried too hard to overhaul the strategy and basically it hasn't really worked. Although I don't usually tend to trust all reviews and regardless of this one, I'm definately going to still buy this game :)

Dinged 69 on my death knight today, enjoying northrend hell of a lot more than i was enjoying TBC.
