  1. Who would be the parents? :o Physics teacher told us about this earlier today, seems pretty interesting, I wonder what else this could lead to apart form the farming of human beings xD
  2. But that means going allllll the way to london by train to come allllll the way back again in the middle of the night xD It probably is worth the hassle though. @Tmillard - The designers/programmers usually attend midnight launches around the world signing copies of their games, It's happened for quite a lot of different games varying from halo to world of warcraft, etc.
  3. I'm pretty sure it comes out 10th of november, I'm half tempted to go to a midnight release for a signed copy, either that or run down to my local Tescos, get it at midnight then run home and play it xD
  4. Anyone find this trailer kind of familiar? I just can't see where I've seen it before... :twss: [yt]gQPSrkmkeqw[/yt]
  5. Could try battleforge by EA, its a card game tied in with an RTS, no idea how it plays though. Go check it out. Also to the guy asking about PC RPGS: GOGO Mass Effect.
  6. I'm sure ive seen that somewhere before, I'm gonna go with a completely out there guess right now, is it Spyro?
  7. Hmm the UK verson of PC Gamer does something similar to this, I also think it would be better to do it as a drawing rather than screenshots as it would be a lot harder to guess, but then people would need to do more well known games.
  8. Go for it :D Try the trial out and see if it tickles your fancy, then make your judgement based on that. It's a lot easier and more casual friendly now compared to vanilla and even TBC. Give the trial a shot and if you like it, get a sub going :P
  9. Meh depends on the pyro to be honest. A pyro with back burner are too easy to kill, but the ones with compression blast are annoying.

I heard The Sims 2: Pets was crap.

Perhaps not PS2, but probably the latest gen (xbox/ps3/possibly wii) if EA sees profit in it. After all they did port The sims, The sims 2 and The sims 2 pets. So it's definately possible.
  12. Really? I prefer them so much over the alliance ones. Alliance ones seem stale in comparison to the likes of the undercity or orgrimmar :D
  13. If it's the game I'm thinking of, there was a magazine with it's advert in with something along the lines of "How does it feel to stab someone in the eye with a drill for revenge". That line alone in the advert makes me want to play it xD
  14. Completely forgot about netbooks. If all you're doing is looking to play runescape then a netbook will be absolutely fine, and they are very cheap. I can also give you a list of games that would work great on a netbook too :D
  15. If I was in your position I would just try my hardest to get a small part time job and save as much money as you can. Although, if you're only looking to run Runescape you could probably just pick a really bad one up second hand really cheap. Alternatively, you could save up ~£300 (Not sure in dollars) and that should get you a computer capable of running crysis at a decent framerate, let alone runescape. Thats not including monitor money. To get a decent monitor you're looking at another £100, or second hand you could pick one up for a bout £40-70 Again, Not sure what it's like in america, could be cheaper.
  16. Just bought the guitar hero World tour w/ guitar for an absolute bargain at £40 brand new with a 10% discount because I work at the store. I think the majority of the setlist is a let down but it does have a couple of gems on there. I want to get either greatest hits or metallica next, although I'm not really a fan of metallica, but their support bands sound pretty awesome :D Another game I just bought its Demigod, at the moment I think it is a very love/hate kinda game. Many people absolutely hate it because of the bugs it had at release and the devs still haven't fixed some of them (most of them are sorted now though), and making a game with many bugs at release will shoo away many players fast. Other people love it due to how much depth it has. I personally think it is a great game and I love the ongoing battles between light/darkness. It has a lot of depth and no two games are ever the same. I'm still waiting for it to become repetitive and I've been playing it a couple days. Currently playing: Team fortress 2: Fav map = Badwater at the moment, Favourite class = Varies, getting into the scout at the moment. Demigod: Playing as Regulus at the moment, he's such a badass :D World of Warcraft: Friends have taken a bit of a break so not playing as much, levelling a deathknight, currently level 76. Guitar Hero: World Tour: Haven't got too far into it (guitar solo) yet but I'm liking it so far.
  17. To be honest I found priest pretty easy to level but very tedious, along with hunters. After level 50, hunter's just didnt seem cool anymore :( I'd go with a shaman if it was me :)
  18. You immediately convince me. Really, it's all fake. You shouldn't believe everything they put in the liner notes. In a perfect world, but I think you're wrong. His brother spoke, and it's been confirmed by various big name sources, as well as the hospital that took him. I will seriously be happy though if this turns out to be his comeback in disguise, but it just doesn't look like thats going to happen. I can imagine it now, Michael jackson returns from the grave to do his thriller comeback tour :D Not gonna happen though :(
  19. As long as he gets more publicity than Jade Goody I'm happy. He deserves it afterall.

Cirque du freak was better imo, still, demonata is a great series too. Have you read The City? That's also pretty awesome, the second book confused the hell out of me towards the end, I still enjoyed it though :D
  21. He had skin cancer at some point but I dont think that's what triggered it. There was also rumours in several gossip magazines (Not that I read them :-$ ) that he was going through an anorexia stage. Although this does seem a little sudden since there was no news on any recent illnesses though.
  22. Just what I was thinking :D See this is an example of a tasteful joke. I think some idiots could take a leaf out of this guy's book.
  23. Brad me or a different one? I never made a joke =/
  24. A bit of everything to be honest, mainly indie or pop songs though. We haven't started writing our own songs yet because we've just had our exams and havent had a lot of time to put much practice in but yea.. We play a variety, on that day our setlist was: Amy Winehouse - Valerie (our teacher sang it... It was really bad) Coldplay - Clocks The Fray - How to save a life Linkin Park - What I've done Scouting for girls - Elvis ain't Dead We were going to do more songs but we didnt have enough time to practice (We learned valerie, elvis aint dead and how to save a life within about a week xD) So it was pretty much 2 hours of playing them songs aswell as summer songs in between performances. Was really fun though :D
