I'm a huge fan of Dawn of War I right now. Like my entire Aion legion is playing it over Hamachi lan while we wait for Aion to come out, it's a ton of fun. 8 player games are chaotic as hell. I used to play Dawn of War Vanilla online quite a lot, but I think relic/thq got a bit lazy with it... I mean the dawn of war homepage didnt update untill a few months after soulstorm came out IIRC. And updates were pretty much non-existant. Must agree though, great fun games. I used to play either chaos or SM. In vanilla they used to own T1 with 4 plasma's per squad :D Good times.

Because we don't play games for fun anymore.

My girlfriend got a halo as she hasnt used an idle program, so there I was going to look into my inventory and I'm greeted by a "You've been naughty so your items and [cabbage] have gone, also, no halo for you!" message from valve. Wahh :( They look pretty cool too.

Any games made by blizzard. Starcraft - Aparently one of the best RTS' of all time... Considered the national sport of korea. Diablo 2 + LoD - Hack 'n' Slash RPG. Limited replay value on vanilla, although there are many full conversion mods for diablo so theres hours of fun to be had. Warcraft 3 + TFT - Another great RTS with an epic story. Custom games will keep you entertained for hours.

You're, you're joking right. About what bit? I also thought kirby on the nintendo 64 (not sure which one it was) was pretty good too. But I loved the pinball game :D

I haven't played in a while but I usually hang around in UKManDown, they have such an awesome community there, but that's only if your in europe, otherwise you would probably get really bad lag.

Well, Payday has come, and yet again, I'm spending it on more upgrades for my computer. :D At the moment I'm using a standard 3 button mouse with scroll wheel that came with computer and it's really, really lame. I was looking at the Logitech mx518 and thought it could be a nice upgrade. I'm looking at a cheap affordable gaming mouse with at least 5 buttons. roughly around the same price as the mx518, or the mx518 if it's a good mouse to go with. So basically, just post your uber gaming mouses and why i should buy one.

The best kirby game without fail was kirby pinball... days were put into that game and I still dont know what happens after you beat the three boards :(

Blizzard. Can't really be going wrong with one of their games a national sport in korea, another the highest population in an MMO to date with over 11million subscribers. And of course Wc3 and Diablo 2 are both pretty awesome games, especially with mod capabilities (WC3 custom maps and diablo 2 full conversion mods)

Yes.. Kinda obvious lol It has PC user's in an uproar because it costs the same as a console game. Craptivision is milking this game for all it's worth. Heck, it's going to cost Europe an $10 to buy the standard version of the game. That's what you get when you have a bunch of money grabbing [developmentally delayed]s running the EU.

World of goo. Pc Gamer gave this a 92% review (IIRC) and I got bored after the first few levels :( CoD4 (PC) The console games would definately win game of the year for me but the PC version just had something missing in multiplayer. I think it could be missing out all the aftermath flaming in the lobby between map switches. God that game was fun on the xbox 360.

Not me, it didnt seem like such a big deal to be honest :| I just think it looks a bit tacky, so without it, would be better imo. Although thats just a minor thing. Still going to buy it at 12am, whether it means going to london or to my local 24hr supermarket :D

Just a small note, did anyone notice on the multiplayer video the damage system didnt have the crappy blood splat effect?

I used to be a fanboy of RTS but they seem rather bland now. The last one I truly enjoyed was empire earth, with the custom maps too. RTS just seem the same thing over and over now, not really many innovative ones have came out recently, except maybe Wh:Dow2 (It tried a new style, and it worked, but the campaign was too much of a grind xD) I have just downloaded Battleforge though, So I'll give that a go and see if I can get back into RTS'

Trying to play cod4 on PC, and I must say it's relatively harder than on the consoles. Although this is on Cod4 Normal, I might download promod and give that a try.

Prestige is £120 at HMV which is the only place you can buy it. And for just £9 more you can buy a console to play it on! Lol thats such [cabbage]. I'm don't think I'm going to be forking out over £100 for prestige. £99.99 would have been my limit, £120 is just taking the piss. Hardened edition for me then.
