I think one of the best JRPG's story-wise is Lost Odyssey. The character development was just amazing. Sure it's kind of cliché but it still made an epic story. It was one of the few games where I actually wanted to watch the cutscenes.

Questions: The artifact you have there is a plate, yet your paladin doenst have plate yet? (Level 40 isnt it?) is that how it should be? Because I was thinking of buying an artifact to start an alt but didnt know if plate would actually work.

Kind of getting back into it, running a few more heroics, grinding for gear. At what DPS should I start looking for guilds? I was pulling just under 2k in heroic DTK last night.

Was it just me or did the multiplayer clip look a bit arcadey? It also seemed a bit quake/halo-like with the buzzkill and the sticky announcement etc. Still looking forward to it though, it looks awesome :D Edit: Just a thought... if the UK price is going to be £55 for the standard game... I hate to think how much the hardened and prestige edition will cost o.O

I travelled to a shopping centre (about 25 miles from my house) just to go to an american import shop and buy some big red, hell it was worth it. I ended up doing the big red wrapper thingy whilst I was mildy wasted. Hilarity ensued.

Ok whilst it may not appeal to a much wider audience, many people have said they enjoyed Nazi Zombies, so it would make sense to make another mode similar to nazi zombies surely? I know what I mean but I'm not sure if it's comming out right. Basically they are using previous customer feedback to help try and improve their game. If the audience said they liked and want a new minigame similar to Nazi Zombies, why would you say no? Unless you want to completely piss off your audience.

Because you are there only audience right? :) CoD, where is the vast majority of your game time spent? Minigames or Multiplayer? Most people will say Multiplayer, he speaks for the majority audience. If thats the case then why do they even have a single player mode? So they can attract a much larger audience, in turn making more money. Believe it or not, quite a lot of games these days have singleplayer.. :o

I'm personally waiting for more news on http://www.guitarrising.com, if they can pull it off I would play that so much more than guitar hero xD Back on topic: Bought guitar hero greatest hits, rolling through on hard at the moment... I didn't realise you could play all the songs straight away in quickplay so I may aswell start on expert xD Still havent played drums bass or sang on the new guitar heros. Does anyone know what guitar hero is like using the rockband drums? And this is probably a silly question... Rockband mic works with guitar hero too right?

I'm gonna through this out there: Battlefield 2. I installed it and then uninstalled it a couple of hours later =/ I found the gameplay horrible.

Should I start with Angels and Demons or Da vinci code? Currently reading through Dark Calling by Darren Shan. Can't wait for the series finale in october \o/

That wasn't the point of my post. I know I'm not forced to play it, I was just commenting on how bland it feels when you hit level 80, hopefully in the search of something else to do. I should probably try and join a guild or something though before judging it properly xD

I used to help run a small guitar work shop after school and there was this guy... Oh god. Think gimpy, with a £20 acoustic guitar from argos with nylon strings. He thought he was a guitar god.. Literally, every single time before we got started he would just play one chord over and over again with absolutely no rhythm or attempted melody. And he seemed really keen about it too. Also, he was the one that screwed up in performances Another guy in our guitar group, year 7. He would purposefully sabotage any performance given the chance. Every time before going on stage he would just pick the highest E string at the highest possible fret over and over. and he was such a cocky bastard. Just thinking about him makes me want to punch someone. Please note: I'm not a very good guitarist but I don't purposefully gloat or try to look cool. I practice songs, play them badly, and have a good time. xD

Dan Brown is a hack. But an entertaining one. Currently reading the Big Sleep - Raymond Chandler. So is that a go ahead and read it because it's good, or don't buy it because it's poo? Or a bit of both? XD

Why do people keep saying "X should have stayed 2D" If everything stayed 2D, would we have the games we have now? Of course not. And most people would probably end up complaining because it's in 2D. Gahh.. Game developers can't win. Although I do agree that the sonic team are quite poop.

Thought so :( It's a shame mythic didn't pull their finger out their [wagon] when they had the chance, they could have made War: Online a great game, which is what I want to play, but it's pretty much dead now, class imbalances, bugs and end game has killed it :( Anyways, back on topic xD

Can anyone recommend any Dan Brown books? Theres an offer on his books, buy one get one half price, I was tempted to buy The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons.

WoW is starting to get pretty bland for me... It's more of a grind at 80 than I thought it would be. Theres pretty much 2 options: Grind for gear at Heroics > Go on to raiding Grind for gear in pvp > Arena So yea, I'm getting bored, but don't know where to go now, Aion honestly doesn't look very good to me =/

So its the equivilent to the arcade mode in call of duty 4, but with co-op?
