There was something in this months issue of PCGamer UK in The Spy article about the next call of duty (after the MW prelude) being set in the future... Not sure if it's true or just speculation though

Patch just released for PC, can't play at the moment, any improvements at all?

Yeah you don't want to play the PC version if your goal is to get away from issues. What issues do you have on the PC version? I'm having an absolute crapton of lag on the PS3 (clearly, it's so bad that I'm willing to buy the PC version of the game). The fact that it's still broke after a month... It's a disgrace. Input Lag, Framerate issues, Server issues (Possibly fixed now), Screen Tearing, Stuttering, Not optimized etc etc. Nadril knows more about this than me, but seriously... The PC version is a joke right now.

So I dislike trying to group quest with my girlfriend in the underwater zone. Vashjir (Sp?) Still, from what I've seen, this expansion is pretty awesome. Dinged 81, can't wait to get stuck in with the dungeons and battlegrounds. ^^

I dont know why but I haven't played in a couple weeks, I pretty much stopped as soon as i got promoted to gold... I really want to switch to zerg but everyone in customs are diamonds and playing a totally new race at gold level on ladder will be next to impossible :(

Great selection of games there. Recently bought - Super Meat Boy, World of goo. And in a couple of days - World of Warcraft Cataclysm :D

Image doesn't work for me =/ The adapters are about the same price as a wired controller so I'll stick with my keyboard untill I get some more money. Besides, the latest patch fixed a lot of the keyboard lag for me, so it's all good for now.

Just found out that you can't use an xbox controller and a play 'n' charge kit on the PC... Damn... Suppose I'll have to fork out £20 for a wired controller :< EDIT: The latest patch to come out on the PC was amazing. Fixed all my input lag, now I dont have to press 'S' multiple times for it to register \o/

Mine seems fine so far except for the fact that it crashes when I exit game, but I dont lose any progress, so im happy with it at the moment.

I was on about the fact that the release was about 3-4 hours late :< but all is good now, it is installing :D

Steam is truly taking the piss now...

I found more of a sense of achievement and goals with MW2... Now everything is unlocked with cod points, so that's gone for me :<

I thought July's games were pretty good. As for Actionjesuz... I looked on his liquidpedia profile as soon as DJWheat mentioned it on his sunday show (Weapons of choice i think it is? with chill?) and I pissed myself laughing.

Sorry for the double post but wanted to revive the thread a bit. Placed my pre-order for this last night. Bit peeved at steam.. I don't understand why we (speaking on behalf of UK) have to wait for a specific time to download it. IMO it should be like any other normal game release, that you can buy it/play it at 12am on the day it comes out. Was looking forward to playing it tonight but it seems I have to wait 22 hours (7pm tomorow) to play it when in theory, it should be released in 3 hours (which would make it 12am GMT). I'm pretty sure this has been the issue with games in the past with people who bought a game retail were playing it and the steam users had to wait because it "hadn't been released yet". I am dissapoint :( On a lighter off-topic note... I picked up SMB and World of Goo for a total of £9.47 last night. Bliss.

That reminded me of Metroid Prime - but with more fun combat. Once I realised that, I liked it even more. I loved Half-Life 2 - I'm playing the first one now, because I hadn't before playing the second. Have you gotten to Ravenholm yet? Past Ravenholm now... I think I've just got past the sand traps section after the antlion bull comes and gets shot down by the guy on the machine gun. I hate antlions, Black headcrabs, The things that throw the black headcrabs at you, The fast screamer things... Pretty much everything. I've never been so scared on another video game than I have walking through ravenholm. I was literally breathing so heavily, always getting jumpy and sweating like crazy. All the things valve wants from their gamers. Damn you valve.

I remember back in the day when it was EA that were the money grabbing [wagon].. Seems the tables have turned..

Infinity ward didn't do anything about the 10th prestige cheaters on MW2, and I heard Treyarch didn't do anything about the ones in WaW either... I get the feeling this will follow suit.

Well telling you where to get THE game would be a very bad thing to do. I wouldn't want to promote PIRATEs now would I? Especially when the law are trying to keep them at BAY.

I still don't understand why I can play MW2 absolutely perfect with no mouse lag at all, but with black ops it lags like crazy. Isn't it the same engine? It shouldn't be too different should it? =/

Nope did absolutely jack [cabbage]. I'm almost positive my issue is the GPU hitching... now if they would just get a patch for that already :/. I don't seem to be getting much game lag at all, it's mainly just mouse-lag at the moment. Did you try the disable sound device thing everyones talking about? Did nothing for me.
