In the interview they said they make more than enough off of team fortress alone to keep the development up for TF2.

Only cosmetic items are available as micro-transactions as to keep balance, but it's still pretty [bleep]ed up =/ EDIT: Weapons and stuff can be bought too, but everything that isn't cosmetic will be available for crafting and random drops (AKA all the weapons, and loads of the hats)

It was a mis-understanding of your post- I thought by caesing to exist you meant that the person and their influence on the universe was completely nulled (i.e. they were removed from time and all multiverses). What I don't get however is you saying in exactly half the universes you die as you fall out the tree. Shouldn't that also mean that you only deveelop the terminal illness in half of the universes, and you only die of old age in another half of them? So you'll keep on living forever because if the universes are infinite and half of infinity is still infinity..... Hmm the way they put it in the magazine was more similar to my explanation. Dieing of old age is unstoppable, uncurable, so it would be final. You would cease to live in all the universes, as there is no cure.

I remember reading a piece in a magazine a while ago. I can't remember exactly what it said but I'll try to explain it roughly. When ever someone is born, they are born in an infinite amount of universes, every one is the same, but different at the same time. Every major action you do will happen in all universes but the consequences will be different. Remember falling out that tree when you were a kid? In half of the universes, you died. You fell on your head. But you're still alive, at least in this universe. Every time you "lose a life" in the universe you are experiencing at one point in time, you die in exactly half of the infinite universes in which you exist. The only thing that will cause your existence to cease completely is something that cannot be prevented in any universe, aka terminal illness, old age, universe ending. I read this a few years ago, and I still think about it quite a lot, it's really mind blowing. (it was an article in the magazine run by the BBC called Focus, which is a sciency type mag) TL:DR You can't die unless you cease to exist in all universes. This is of course if there are multi-verses.

Very nice. Do you know what's going to happen to that achievement when Catacysm hits? (I don't) AFAIK It's becomming a Feat of Strength and there will be a new loremaster achievement, it will work in the same way you get achievements for completing x amount of quests in Howling Fjord, Icecrown, etc, so you can see which zone you are missing completed quest. Did anyone see the Plants vs Zombies quest? <3:

[/idrA] Anyways, I suggest not just sticking to the MMM as it may get you a load of wins, but then you come across a protoss ball with high templars... then you're screwed. Try and mix it up a bit and not just go for the same units every game. I've been experimenting quite a lot with some fast expand builds as protoss, early robo facilities, etc. Just keep trying things, however wacky it might seem, you may come across something thats even more powerful than MMM (Not likely, that [cabbage] is tough to break). Also, whenever you lose, check your replay, see where you went wrong, and what you did right.

It's almost 8 times harder to get though, but if I had Fall for every gun I wouldn't complain. Got into a hacked server with the supposed promise of "Unlock Everything!". Used the match to practise quickscoping instead, since I don't want another ban on my account (do you get bans for unlocking via hacked servers?). Depends if you intentionally went into a hacked server to unlock stuff, or whether you randomly just came accross it in matchmaking. I always seem to come across hacked lobbies in multiplayer, although they are getting rarer.

High templar with Storms > Archons. No doubt, the dps output is pretty damn amazing (One storm to kill marines if you get a good storm off). Then of course when you have no energy left over you can get archons for the extra DPS and small splash againts bio ^^ I havent really used DT's so I can't comment there ^^

So the build I'm using against terran now really seems to be working, its the standard 9pylon/12gate opener. Basically I throw down a gas after my gateway is done, then my cyber(Warpgate comes soon after), then another gateway to produce stalkers and maybe a sentry if he tries busting up my ramp, then I forge expand to my natural and back it up with cannons and work on ground weapons 1. As nexus is going up I throw down my 2nd gas, and another 2 gateways. (omg 4gate what a noob), Grab my 2 gas when exapnsion comes up. Then throw down twilight council, research charge, then templar tech, psystorm, and the amulet (Whilst building additional gateways, usually have about 8) then I just do small pushes with zealots and high templar, recycling with archons, getting stalkers if needed. This has worked so much in the lower leagues due to most silver players being a bit gunshy and massing up their bioball, to which i say, thanks for the free win. Only thing that sets me back is early pushes or all in strats, I'm not really sure what to do against these. If I suspect an early push sometimes I put my army on hold and grab a couple of void rays to smash through their mineral line. Forcing them to either baserace or retreat. (I've lost count how many times quick switching to void rays midgame has won me the game, sometimes only using 2 void rays to melt away their economy ^^. Early zerg pushes are so damn easy to hold off, but terran early pushes just wreck me. Basically my question is, does anyone have any tips to be able to play a macro game, whilst still being able to hold off against early MM pushes? Even if I scout it, theres not much i can do about it =/

I downloaded the whole series and I must admit, it was one of the best laughs I've had in SO long. The acting is terribad (Well, it is a porn). The episode with the troll doing her "Alone time" thing is just too much. Seriously, this had me in stitches.

I think they will probably preset the ranked dedicated servers to default rules (Like the MW2 game list) and then hopefully let you do pretty much anything (within reason) with the unranked. Either way I'm happy with the way this game is going. Also, a ranked server only costs as much as world of warcraft, so that's not too much of a hit really is it? Especially to well developed clans and communities.

Mass effect, buy both. Shedloads of gameplay and I got ME1 and the ME2 collectors edition (GAME(The shop :P )) And then on top of that get Dragon age aswell. You'll be set for uni in terms of singleplayer gameplay.. at least that was my plan. After my girlfriend got obsessed with DA I dont think im going to see it again :( I dont remember the exact prices but I managed to pick up ME1, ME2-CE and DA for £45 all together. Of course this is assuming you live in the UK :P

Gun game. <3: I literally nerd-gasm'd when I saw that they were finally implementing gungame into CoD. It works so well in CS:S, and CoD:MW2 (Modded lobby, was a fun game while it lasted, played it once but never saw it again :( ). I just hope theres an open beta for PC Gamers like they did for WaW, and that it comes soon. :D

Worked my way up to silver league and the amount of cheese i get now.. Damn. I love it when their cheese fails though, theres been plenty of times when they've tried to cannon rush me and I've just completely owned them, One that's pretty hard to counter unless you scout FAST is the proxy reaper rush... that stuff is damn hard to beat properly.

I got Dragon age: Origins, Mass effect 1 and Mass effect 2 on the PC as a birthday present. I'm not allowed them untill my birthday though which is on wednesday... Damnit come sooner!
