Paladins seem boring to me now... I tried a tauren one and didn't really like it at all.. Prefered them pre-wotlk. Also it's down to personal prefrence.. some people will find certain classes fun whereas others won't. Try not to dishearten newbies about the class they are playing... that's why it took me 5 years to level one toon to max level. <_< Some advice to skully - Try not to abandon your characters... I have about 20 characters on a load of different realms just because I didn't know what I wanted to do or where I wanted to play. Sure if you get bored, make another alt and alternate a little bit but sticking to one character really pays off in the end :)

2 feet... isn't that far. While I agree that it is stupid that if you die while your bullets are in the air, they disappear, (same goes with the knife. MY KNIFE IS IN YOUR BODY, YOU ARE DEAD!) according to you he had plenty of space to knife you. yea, that first part is poor hit detection. and literally, the whole recticule was on his head, and i shot. and he still knifed. i think commando works this way: if they hit melee before you shoot, and theyre in range for the lunge, the game will act as if you were already killed before you shot, which is why in the KC it shows you "not" shooting Wierd on my screen it's always exactly the opposite. I enjoy the odd MLC every now and then (mostly on invasion i think it's called, thats it), and i clearly stab them in the face with the lunge, stabbing animation, and blood spray... and it turns out they started spraying from the hip at me before I'd even hit the melee button, getting a lucky kill. Frustrating.

What class/level are you? Human Warrior level 8 I believe. Gasp. Your enjoying being a warrior? I got amazingly bored of it, there just so plain. If your having fun being a warrior then I bet you'd love playing a class like druid. Just my opinion. I got my warrior to 10, got bored, made a pally which I leveled to 7, went back to warrior which I raised to 15, got bored again, and made a hunter. I've stuck with my hunter ever since, he's currently level 26. Ehm, well I know nothing about the game yet, so I chose that. Also I like that in most RPG games, prefer to run in and beat the [cabbage] out of everything over doing some fancy spells or w/e. Ignore him :P I personally think warriors are awesome. When you get to a higher level it may become overwhelming with all the abilities but stick to it and you should be fine. I also find warriors are the most fun class to tank with.

I don't know. Origins is really good but between it and Starcraft...that's a pretty hard choice. Just watched the launch trailer cinematic and I'm come to the conclusion that I need to buy Starcraft xD

Spec Enhancement. Steal all her gear. >: D I told her I was going to do that but I can't be bothered to farm a buttload of emblems to get me into ICC as an enhancement... maybe in cataclysm xD

Just getting back into my DK in blood DPS spec as i HATE playing as unholy. I also had an apiphany(sp?) Macros are useless. If you live just by macros you're dps will be [cabbage]e... I learned this the hard way... I deleted all my macros on my deathknight and made 1 macro (apply diseases) and cast the rest manually and it increased my DPS so much. :D and of course... spamming macros is boring as hell. Also.. I'm having horrible luck on my shaman. I did a pug of icc25 and got up to fester, a total of 5 decent upgrades for me were dropped, I got 0. I did another pug of ICC25 and go up to saurfang and a total of 3 decent upgrades were dropped... again I got nothing :< Whereas my girlfriend (who plays a hunter) gets so much gear and rubs it in my face. Bah. :< I need the ICC25 shield from marrowgar so bad, I'm still using the emblem of heriosm one, and thats a healing shield :<

I can beat that with a constant DL speed of 975 bytes/s earlier. Currently its wavering around the 20KB/s. For those who have managed to download it, is it any good? Try restarting steam.. I'm downloading at.. wait disregard that.. it was at 600KB/s, just checked, its gone down to 20KB/s xD

Makes me wonder if this is Blizzards idea or Activisions... probably the latter since they are money whoring idiots with no care for the customer at all, pumping out the same [cabbage] 24/7, whereas Blizzard actually make quality games, and charge a fair price. EDIT: Activision - The NEW EA.

You have to have been invited by blizzard... if you have a battle.net account go to battle.net and check you can download the client from there.. if not, then you won't be able to get into the beta. Still debating whether to risk getting in debt this month by getting this game or not xD

I personally find Quake engine better for more fun play, and unreal more serious play. Although, judging from the games I've played on Quake engine (Quakes, Wolfenstein ET, A few others that I can't remember atm) and the games I've played on unreal (Americas Army mainly, GoW, Etc) I personally find the Quake engine a lot more "fun and action packed", whereas I would prefer unreal for more realistic, tactical shooters.

I guess.. what ever happened to that project anyways? I remember a lot of hype about it and never got to see the game :<

I thought I'd make a thread about indie games and developers as I find the indie game scene very open and much less restrictive compared to mainstream games. I've only really played a few indie games which would be AudioSurf, World of Goo, and N (The way of the ninja). I don't know about you but theres something about these games that always keep me going back for "One more song/level/try". What indie games do you play/Have you played? And which ones could you recommend? This includes free ones and paid ones. N (The way of the ninja) - Free A very basic platformer, warning VERY addictive. World of goo - Costs £16.99 from Steam Build stuff using Goo Balls to reach the levels objective AudioSurf - Costs £5.99 from Steam Creates a track from YOUR music on your computer for you to ride on and match coloured blocks.

Do you know much about the Dawn of War online status now that #2 is out? I used to play it loads but then when DoW2 came out, the playerbase declined so much :< I suppose I'll have to dig out my key codes and see whats going on ^^

Looking for a new RTS or RPG game. Choices i have for RPG's are ME1 + 2, DA:O, Baulders gate series. for RTS I've tried the total war series (Was either rome or medieval, i forget...) and didnt really like the system, although if you can pursuade me, I may give it another shot... or just throw some games at me. I already have WC3+TFT and SC... Mostly looking for online play with RTS's. Any suggestions?

Wow.... the UI looks so much better and smoother now. I'll try get some screenshots up soon. The maps also look a lot better now too :D Haven't had chance to play any characters yet though :<

Last game i bought was APB. It was such a let down, it looked perfect, they had plenty of time to patch it up, add stuff that was needed but the beta and release version is exactly the same. A huge dissapointment, but I still have fun on the customization and the pvp when my laptop wants to run it. (Laptop is on 32-bit vista and APB requires a 64-bit OS to load some textures, so unless you're on windows 7 64-bit, your game will look absolutely poo) Also got an invite to WoW: Cataclysm beta, so I'm downloading that then I'm gonna make a goblin :D Currently playing: APB L4D2 - bought this christmas 09, and only just started playing... boy do i regret not playing it sooner.. I love the versus mode :D WoW - Just running through ICC with guildies and farming monies for epic flying and other luxuries. MW2 (PC) - Getting a bit stale now :< Debating what to go for next... Either the Total war series, Mass effect 1+2 or Dragon age... Any suggestions or alternatives?
