Yep, 5 mins of wc, though sometimes you may get 10 logs or 2 logs in 5 mins. So just use a routine to keep it going, example; start out w/ varrock lodestone tele, wc elder there...once done go to edgeville lodestone the to elder there, wc for 5 mins again, then lodestone to yanille and for a 3rd time wc for 5 mins, once done you can go back to your starting place. Each of these areas has a bank that is not too far off as well. So yes, it can be worth it.

Ascension caves is definitely a good place for cash. Slayer is still good, kinda oldschool but good. Mainly bossing now is how to make gp. Or even wc elder logs. Just a few quick thoughts

It's closer to 1300 each and don't forget you'll catch pawya and lose traps if they get triggered. 4.6m is a more likely estimate. Source: I've done 4800/10000 of my protean traps Yup, when I hunt grenwalls I also catch pawyas, but I don't mind, it's all hunting xp!

I like protean items, the prices of certain items are ridiculous, like mahogany planks..pfft! Give me some protean planks instead!

Yeah, as long as my crew and captain survive, I'm happy..lol I didn't start failing until I got to the terracotta zone, now I'm mass failing, but least I passed 2 voyages today! Now just awaiting the other 2. |^_^|

What a surprise today...2 plate missions, one was 6 plates and the other was 12..70ish percent to pass each, and it actually did! :unsure: I'll never understand how that works.

Least I won't be disappointed when I do get there, as I already expect to fail more than half the voyages.

I enjoyed the quest, especially the boss fight!

I just have to complain, 90% plus chance of success and I still fail 3 out of 4 voyages...So ridiculous. Really gets annoying after the constant fails. Also, my port management is set for jade voyages, why do I keep getting steel or terracotta voyages or even black slate, really? Give me the voyages selected from port management. Oh and why do I constantly get Catherby fisherman, which only cost chimes, instead of my Sea-fort guard that costs terracotta...Well I think I'm done complaining, hopefully I succeed in some future voyages.

Yes, my point exactly. So even with bxp I don't see a huge difference in xp gains.

I actually did the math for that, I have 1,700 protean traps, it roughly equals between 400-450k xp, but that's only carrion jadinkos with no other bonus xp. *edit* This xp is based that all traps will be successful, and they will not all be 100% successful, I figured that out pretty quick.
