A Question of Morality
In my eyes anyone who came on the trip deserves a share of the drop, even if they have to teleport out earlier, they still contributed to the trip. My views may be different though, I am not someone who kills boss monsters for money; I do it for fun and any loot is a bonus. Those who's main method of making money is hunting such boss monsters might be less inclined to share their "profits" with others.

Level Cap
Well, most online games do raise their caps as the years go by. Otherwise, maxed out players get bored and quit. Well, the max integer in RS is, IIRC, 2^31-1 That's 2,147,483,647 Now, RS does keep track of exp values less than 1 (killing randoms gives 1/10 normal exp, killing a rat in controlled gives 2.666... exp, etc) So, perhaps, the displayed value of exp is actually 1/10 times the stored value. If that were true, then the true max displayed exp would be 214,748,364.7 (Note that RS has a displayed exp cap of 200 million exp.) That, in turn, would be level 127.3 for any particular stat which leads to a new max combat level of 162.3 'Course, all of this is just idle speculation... You are correct, I've seen a J Mod confirm this on the RSOF. Can't remember who it was, but they stated that 200M looked a lot neater than 214M, so they stuck the XP cap at 200M. I don't see raising the level cap being the answer though, for an extra 27 HP levels (from 99 to the new maximum of 126 with the current XP cap) you need a heck of a lot of XP (around 175M ish).

A LEVEL 1!!!
There is a HUGE crowd walking around RS on world 41 looking for him, everyone's shouting "Omg where's the level 1!" etc. lol, quite funny :P. His clan chat's completely stuffed full of people. I'm not sure whether this is some elaborate hoax, but if it is it's very well done :P.

The... Imp champion Scroll
When I'd RC I always used to kill an imp if there was one near the glory teleport spot just incase I'd get one. I have no idea why I wanted one, I guess the fact they were quite rare kind of spurred me... Even though you couldn't "show off" you'd done it. Perhaps they should have added wearable rewards as well because the slayer and HP XP really isn't worth the bother...

Pass blocking - Part 2 of Jagex's update for fools
Actually the whole sentence would be blocked, so Player B won't see anything but *'s but what if it's two ppl that know eachother, and they know what they are talking about, and see a bunch of ***** come up? Wouldn't the one kid be able to guess what his password is?? No, they don't use stars to cover the sentence, the sentence just doesn't appear at all.

Official : RS, 2nd Biggest MMPORG In World
On the topic of graphics - I actually far prefer RuneScape's graphics to that of WoW's. RuneScape's graphics have a crisp and colourful feel to them, I think WoW's focuses way too much on realism. (That really only applies to the updated graphics that have been added lately, however I'm sure everything will be brought up to standard.) I doubt RuneScape will ever 'overthrow' WoW of it's throne, but 2nd is certainly an achievement for such a simple game. Well done to Jagex.

prove your veteran status.
Looks like I'm another 27th Feb person :P. Although I know my account was created earlier than that, I know for sure I played during the Classic BETA period.

POLL: Do you like Magic or Range?
If you'd asked me a few weeks ago, I would have said magic without hesitation. ...But now I've started training ranged quite heavily, and I have to say it's grown on me. I think ranged is quite underated, I mean it's fast, cheap and quite powerful. It's a close call really, in terms of combat I prefer ranged now, but magic has the edge as it has non combat stuff such as teleports etc. If mage didn't have teleports I would have voted range, but as it does, I'm going to have to go for mage.

~===~The Castle Wars Rocks: Switch them back!~===~
Yep, I agree, I have no idea what Jagex were thinking when they changed this :? .

Future updates in 2007.
Bloods require level 77, and souls require level 90 ;) (that is, when they come out). As for 2007... I'm looking forward to some decent mini-games and perhaps a skill or two?

Your favourite place to train?
Damis' Lair from Desert Treasure, the skeletons auto attack and you can use a salve amulet, it's great!

Is this game taken too seriously?
I live in the middle of nowhere, there's no one in my area I like and all my friends live miles away. The only thing to do really is play RS. I don't see what's so bad really, I talk to friends and lots of other people so it's not like I'm spending all day on the computer with myself... Besides if I wasn't on RuneScape I wouldn't be doing anything more constructive, so why not I say? :D

Weapon of the year(overall) award goes to....
I second that!

How many of u will actually play on X-mas day?
Christmas won't be too different for me really.. The only difference is we have a nice meal, open a few presents (nothing extravagent) and relax. I'll be on RS all night with a few friends just messing about, we have christmas all-nighters where we mess about, just generally having fun : .

// Best Runescape Updates of 2006 //
Construction - One of the best skills yet, although the money sink side of it kind of spoils it Hunter - Another great skill, although it's a shame Jagex didn't add more (especially for higher levels), there's a lot of potential. Achievement capes - Theeeeey're great :) Those are just my favourite 3 though, there's been so many great updates this year.

// Worst Runescape Updates of 2006 //
Funnily enough, the top 3 on the poll are my top 3. Pure Ess - Quite simply a terrible idea. I'm quite fortunate as I can already make a large amount of profit from the skill, however it hits the lower level RCers quite hard. Pest Control - Not the way EXP should be gained. It's far too easy if you get a good world... Temple Trekking - I just hate this mini-game...

What's your way of making money?
My favourite is RuneCrafting Natures through the Abyss, I make roughly 1M an hour doing that. If I don't feel like that I very occasionally go and slay Abyssal Demons.

~is it fair...for pkers to get flamed to pk rcers in abyss?~
Personally I think they are pretty sad. They camp at the Zamorak Mage attacking defenceless players for at the most 100k in items. Little do they realise if they acually RCed themselves they would most likely make more money compared to abyssal PKing... Personally I've never fought a PKer back, I'm a terrible PKer and my connection is a little dodgy, but generally when RCers do fight back, the abyssal PKers themselves usually end up legging it or teleing - which I find pretty funny. (Not to mention I've seen a lot of abyssal PKers who 1 item... I mean come on  ) But meh, that's just my opinion...

Level 48- 55 magic
Account sharing? Tsk tsk :shame: :P Also, 'key binding' (pressing the 5 button as a mouse click) is against the rules too according to Customer Support (don't ask me why :-X ). But anyway, I'd say Camelot Teleporting is the way to go, although like you say your money situation is a slight problem... Try doing some Nature Rune running for people who can double your natures, that'll make you a little bit of cash. Good luck :) .

Lesser afraid of change
Now THAT'S what you call a demon :P .

âš¥ The Blog Of CA2theone âš¥ ~Update~ MOVED!!!!
Good luck Ca2, I occasionaly hop to world 99 when there's a PKer on my home world; seen you a few times :) . I got to 91 RC by working at fast free laws which was hard enough, let alone going it alone! If the PKers force me onto 99 again I'll be sure to Hyt you if I see you \ .

new area sounds?
It's nice to know they're improving aspects of the game like that, but it's a shame I don't have RS music or sounds on (normally anyway). Maybe if they're good I'll have it on more often :P .

Do you think anybody will ever get all skills to 200mil xp?
It depends entirely on what you use to raise it. Creating Steel Dragons over and over again would be insanley fast XP, albeit slightly costly. In my opinion the most efficient way of training construction is with oak planks, making oak larders with the aid of a butler. Eack Oak Plank used yields 60xp, and the current market value of them appears to be 500each (at a quick glance). 200,000,000 (Target XP) / 60 (Oak Planks XP) = 3,333,333.333... (Oak Planks). So we know you'll need 3,333,334 Oak Planks for 200m XP, times that by the cost of them: 3,333,334 * 500 = 1,666,667,000. If my calculations are right (and they probably aren't  ) it would cost around 1.67B GP for 200M Construction XP, that isn't accounting the costs of your Demon Butler (those 10k fees would start to add up). Bear in mind that's for one skill only, out of a current 22. Prayer would have a similar sort of price tag to max out. Technically it is possible to achieve 200m in every skill, but it would take vast amounts of money and more importantly time; which I don't think anyone has that much of. (Also as a little side note, along the way more skills are bound to be released, maybe some as slow as Slayer; that won't help a great deal either...) So I would say technically YES, you could do it, but physically doing it is a completely different task...

Abbreviations you detest
What really annoys me is 'wuu2' (short for 'what you up to?'). Everytime someone says it to me I feel like killing them :wall:
