Frankenstein was also downloadable on GH2 on the 360 :-s Got a few top 10s lately: [hide=Metal Heavy Lady] I actually dropped a tick in this run, so... >_> This is 4th/8th. I am entirely capable of tying for 2nd or displacing everyone that's tied for 2nd if I can just hit the darn 1st squeeze again.[/hide] [hide=Ruby] Missed a tick in this, would've been tied for first. This is 2nd/3rd.[/hide] [hide=] Horrible ticking, wrong place for the first activation, but I proved I could hit the upperbound first squeeze given enough patience. This is 4th/5th, but I'm sure it will drop as it is one of this week's league songs.[/hide] I'm currently going for a My Curse re-FC because I know I can improve my score (and it's a league song), as well as either upperbound or optimal on Impulse. I've hit all squeezes for optimal on Impulse, but one of them I've only managed once, so I may have to settle for upperbound (which is 200 points lower).

You're talking to the person who can barely tap But after looking at the chart, they're only 16.2 NPS, which means that since you're holding the G, you only have to move your fingers at 10.8 NPS (technically you actually have to do small sections at 16.2 NPS followed by small breaks, but thanks to the timing window, you can take more time on the non-break part)... I can do faster parts with relative ease, yet I can't hold combo into that measure at all :| For the rest of the ending, I consider everything that is a long stretch of HOPOs to be dead simple... it's knowing exactly when to press buttons in the fast strumming that gets me.

Those are coincidentally the two parts that stop most people from FCing the song... it's really not a difficult song except for the ending. I've only fully comboed Blues Buster once (:() but I can usually get about halfway into it, and that's without ever practicing it. The ending, however, is insane.

My DLC wasn't freezing today, so I did some stuff: [hide=So Payaso 1st] 8 points over Lo7's score <3[/hide][hide=Exo-Politics Optimal][/hide][hide=This is a Call 2nd] This was 200 points from Lo7 - coincidentally I didn't even attempt the 200 point squeeze in the last activation...[/hide][hide=Sunday Morning 3rd][/hide][hide=Almost Easy 5th] I can do better! :[/hide]

There is a giant rank disparity between GH2 for Xbox and for PS2 o.O My Less Talk More Rokk score took 2nd on Xbox and 16th for all systems (I thought I did crappy with SP, too, so people don't really try >_>). On a similar note, my TIGRYT 5th on 360 is 20th for all systems... Lots of GH2 stuffs that I haven't posted lately (in no particular order): [hide=Woman][/hide][hide=Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight (5th on 360)][/hide][hide=Search and Destroy][/hide][hide=Possum Kingdom (5th on 360)][/hide][hide=Hush (Reduxed for 12th)][/hide][hide=Girlfriend (3rd on 360)] I didn't even try for ticks on one of the activations, still ended up with 3rd...[/hide][hide=Tattooed Love Boys] 2nd worst song in the game[/hide][hide=Trippin' On a Hole in a Paper Heart][/hide][hide=Less Talk More Rokk (2nd on 360)][/hide][hide=X-Stream] Worst case of rank disparity: 7th on 360, 58th on all systems. This is due to ScoreHero's adjustment of PS2 scores, as the SP is placed differently on the PS2 version. The correct path for the PS2 version is MUCH MUCH MUCH easier to squeeze on, so it is much easier to place highly on PS2 than on 360.[/hide][hide=Yes We Can] Worst song in the game. I ended up turning off sound to do this... there's still 200 points left, but only one person has ever gotten it, so really no worth going for[/hide]

Corrupt a Wish (IT's over Nine Thousand)
Granted, but the moment you get it, the needle flies all the way to the right due to the excessive radiation poisoning you got from the edible wrapping paper (plutonium-laced corn-based products, anyone?). You die before you even get to hear its iconic noise. I wish I wasn't required to make a wish to keep this thread alive.

Granted - you are thrown in the midst of war, where two giant gears roll on top of you, smashing you to a pulp. I wish the next poster didn't ruin this wish.

Random good run of TTFAF... If I could get more consistent at certain parts, I'd definitely be able to get 800k. This run I screwed up Rampaging Dragons and You Rock! pretty badly >_>

Progress is very relative to not only how much effort you put in, but how good you are with rhythm in general. There are people who have picked up this game and immediately started with Expert (yes, they exist). There are others who weren't able to do this, but still progressed quickly enough (I would be at the less skilled end of this group - I've been playing 13 months; there are people who have been playing just as long as me that have done far more amazing things - GHPhenom (TTFAF FC, Virtuoso Pack FC, Metallica Pack FC, etc.) and Cirkit (One FC and crazy one-handed stuff) both started around the same time I did). Anyways, yeah... work at it and you'll get better.

Been working on GH2... done some random stuff, including proving that I could FC Freebird if I had the patience to play a 9-ish minute song enough times that I didn't choke randomly (it happens a lot for me). 304k Jordan without a Solo F FC, too (I've FCed Solo F many times in practice, so if I could do it in a real run... more points!) Best thing so far: 2nd Place on 360, 3rd for All Systems - Tied with Lo7 and THABEAST Better yet (or worse, since it would mean redoing that), I've had 8 more points after the first activation, and I could get some ticks on the last.

TDWDTG has not been FC'd, no. DarkDude, you can (or *should* be able to, at least) play any DLC in pro-faceoff (locally or online, either way). So far, that's my only solution :(

Technically, you never use HOPOs when using a standard controller, because the controller strums every time you press one of the buttons. I think what he meant is that he can do fast HOPO sections (like scales and such) very well...

IBitePrettyHard disagrees with you. Edit: Apparently BBCode hates me right now... I did not have quotes around the stupid link, and have no idea why it put them there.

No, I have not, and will not be playing it until sometime in December most likely. I am fully aware that having not played it, I can't give a fully backed opinion, so don't bother throwing that in my face. However, I have watched a number of videos, read a number of reviews (both on and off scorehero), and spoken with a number of friends who HAVE played (including conversations specifically about the vocals). Out of all of these, you are the first person I've heard of with the game being that 'broken'. Specifically, one of my friends directly said they were "having a great time with vocals and doing pretty well". That friend is a good singer outside of the game, and has enough musical background to recognize if they were on pitch or not. Again, I don't want this to turn into an argument, though I fear it may have already. Again, I'm tired of people blaming a game - it's a program, and the same code can only act so much differently between discs. It's not like the programmers maliciously made your specific disc to fail you - if people who I can guarantee *know* what they're talking about when it comes to singing aren't failing every time they try, the code can't be entirely to blame.

Just because being technical is fun, she's 2nd in the world on Rock Band 2 (or was, I don't have it and thus can't check leaderboards), and even lower on Rock Band. She is an excellent vocalist though, I just like technicalities. I assume you're referring to the video description in her latest video (since her site says nothing, and she's banned from scorehero - unless that changed recently): This is on Expert, so if you were playing on any difficulty lower than that, using her statement as a means of defense is weak at best. Additionally, there is a giant gaping difference between not keeping combo and failing. I can't keep combo throughout all of TTFAF, but I haven't failed the song in months. I'm not trying to argue with you here, I really don't mean to start an argument, but you need verifiable proof of a problem before you claim it exists. I have never blamed the game for any misses unless they were quite definitely not my own (overstrums when my hand wasn't even on the strum bar, notes visibly not registering when I had the frets held down, etc.), and it annoys me when others blame the game. Your copy may be faulty, your mic may be faulty, but there is no proof that the game is so incredibly broken that you would fail from singing properly.

Mlb, to be fair, vox is broken in many ways, but if you sing on pitch, you won't fail. The brokenness comes in the Words, the freestyle sections, etc. I have yet to see someone complain that it's failing to acknowledge that they're singing on the right pitch - none of the top Rock Band vocalists that have come over have reported problems with that side of it, and they would be the ones who would know.
