bongo, with some of the FCs you have, I can't believe some of the ones you don't o.O For a while Stricken and Take This Life were the two you had that I would 'never' have... right now, FCPREMIX and The Way It Ends have that (I can hit everything in FCP, but I'm so incredibly inconsistent at Aggro that it wouldn't be worth it to try for the FC) Major congratulations :) Edit: The fact that you have patience to squeeze Hard is also amazing to me... every once in a while I'll go down to lower difficulties to try squeezing, but I'm so used to expert that I actually find it hard to concentrate on so few notes and thus no squeezing :s

I have played neither chart, but after watching a vid of each... the only time WT's chart has less notes than RB's chart is the blue holds, which *could* be charted as blue holds without being untrue to the song (though generally trills are only charted as holds on lower difficulties - see Raining Blood on medium or easy). The main difference is that Rock Band makes most of the main bit into HOPOs while WT does not... there are no less notes, you were just strumming too fast. The blue holds were the only places with less notes :|

Dead Space
Currently borrowing this from a friend, and only played part of the way through Chapter 1 so far, so I know the game has plenty of time to develop further, but so far I have predicted literally every single attack except one, and even that one wasn't a surprise, it was just not predicted. I hope it gets more interesting later on?

Been playing GH:80's just because my rank was horrible on it and just because I can... 12 reduxes so far, leaving 18 to go ;) Rank has jumped by 550 to top 500 in two days :) FCs: [hide=We Got The Beat][/hide][hide=I Ran (So Far Away)][/hide][hide=Heat of the Moment][/hide][hide=Turning Japanese][/hide][hide=The Warrior][/hide][hide=What I Like About You][/hide][hide=Only A Lad][/hide][hide=Lonely is the Night][/hide][hide=Los Angeles][/hide] Non-FCs: [hide=Because, It's Midnite][/hide][hide=Ballroom Blitz][/hide][hide=Electric Eye][/hide] Since I sightread FCed Shakin', this means I have 2 FCs in each tier except the last (which is the only tier where all the songs are genuinely on par with their tier level). I suck at squeezing non-GH3 games...

I didn't want to post this on ScoreHero, because if it proves wrong I have a feeling I'd be flamed to death, but I have a theory on squeezing with HOPOs... I can't be entirely sure (wish I could film my runs, because then I could check), but I believe I actually hit the red note at the beginning of the activation *in* the yellow sustain, as in after the center of the yellow note had already passed. If this is correct, I think it would mean that you can in fact hit a note after the next note - if the next note is a HOPO. You'll never be able to hit a strummed note after the next strummed note, but I honestly believe I hit that first note after I shouldn't have been able to.

Went for slightly harder songs tonight: Thought I had lost my ability to do the Bridge, but my first run of it in practice was a FC, so apparently not. This was my second reFC of the night, my first was 563,814... on this run my whammy cut out (my guitar is having all sorts of problems, the yellow fret was also dropping every few runs), losing me 800-ish points in the bridge activation. Decent score, but I can definitely improve on it... I also found out in the runs after this one (I did try for another reFC, but I was tired of the song by this point) that I actually *could* hit a squeeze I hadn't been trying for before, which means even more possibility for reduxness. Better than a reFC: A new FC! Haven't played this since the day after my choke run (that day I stumbled through it and did nothing interesting), so I decided to try it out today. While my first few runs were nothing to be proud of, I had everything back under control in short order, and the FC came quickly. Unfortunately my star power usage wasn't that great, but it's the first FC, so reFCs may yet come...

DarkDude, what method are you using? Going for each note/anchoring top note/randomly spamming frets? FSA has always been one of my greatest weaknesses... I've never passed the song without using star power there because I've never figured out how to do it at all consistently :(

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
The farthest I've ever gotten in it one-handed (with actually trying to hit the pattern, not spamming frets randomly) was 11 notes, I believe. Pretty sure I have actually managed a 2x multiplier, at least... Every once in a while, I'll attempt one of the numerous tapping methods, and I get 9 notes every time... I just haven't figured them out yet. It's all about speed *and* consistency on One, and I have to build up both of them... On each of the slower practice speeds I can go farther... I can FC the triplets on slowest one-handed, but it's a rather large jump between 11.2 NPS and 22.5...

Strangely, I'm not all that interested in the first Full Game FC... it just felt like something I should've been expecting to happen soon. My own personal achievement of the night: La Grange redux for 6th place 360/11th place all systems: I did the second activation a note later than normal, thus missing 200 points that would've put me at a higher rank, so there will probably be a future redux to get those points in there, but it's a nice jump from that song being outside the top 100 (and outside top 200 on all systems) :)

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
The Seeker redux.... I'm becoming increasingly convinced my mind/game are conspiring to make sure I never get a first. I choked (as in last 10 notes) on 3 runs that would've tied for 1st, and missed the last squeeze on an otherwise optimal run. Someday my mental block will finally go away >_> I have hit every squeeze in this song a number of times, so it's just managing it all at once that's the problem... Next redux will likely be Sunshine of Your Love, Miss Murder, or La Grange, as each is outside of the top 100 and should *technically* be easy enough to get into the top 100... Unfortunately, what should technically be possible isn't always that easy... whammying Miss Murder is near impossible for me, and Sunshine of Your Love is almost entirely up to what luck I have with the last activation. We'll see. On another side note, in a random practice run of Flood!, I FCed the last of the YB trills (which is coincidentally the fastest of the 3, at 20.3 NPS [even I didn't know they were *that* fast :s]) one-handed, which means I have now FCed each individual 'phrase' of Flood! one-handed on full speed, though I have absolutely no consistency. All that means is I've proven I *could* FC the song, but I'm a looooooong way from it. Edit: Because I feel like going into more detail on Flood! - the fastest trill in the section that I have been able to hit consistently is the YB trill that is in measures 136 and 137. This trill is 17.2 NPS, which is decently respectable, but my consistency dies on the BO in measure 148, which is only 17.5 NPS... a mere .3 NPS difference is enough to throw all my consistency out the window. As such, 20.3 NPS is a major leap to make, and I don't expect it anytime soon, though I may invest a bit more practice now that I know I can do it.

Talk Dirty To Me redux for 4th... had I got the squeeze in the last activation, it would be 1st. Was 16 ticks behind nothankyoo after the first activation, which means I got 20 ticks more than he did on the 2nd o.O... This song is definitely not optimized. Edit: As a side note, I have gotten 12 more ticks on the 1st activation, which means that if I could pull everything off in one run (including the last squeeze, which I have *never* gotten...), I'd have first by 16 points! (Never happening :-# )

zunee, I took the second link as it appeared to be your 'main' blog... it would be best if you had only one blog, as it allows people to see all your achievements in one topic and doesn't clutter the forum.

          Take This Life choke... on the 10th to last note... I was so happy to 'have' the FC that I didn't mind that I had messed up SP that run... and then I can only assume I didn't lift my finger fast enough from the YB chord to the Y... Anyways, the score would've sucked because my whammy started doing nothing right when I got to the SP phrases that you can whammy >_>

I finally figured out how to hit the annoying part of Take This Life, so now the FC is just waiting for me to not choke (my two best runs had such major chokes that I had to restart because the score suffered that much >_>) Best non-choked run of the day: I *will* FC this and Cult of Personality... soon... >_>

I don't personally know any of the exceptional people except McSkinny, who is known for his GH1 squeezing prowess (and thus is unlikely to be known here). I have spoken with a few of the greats in streams and such, but only random conversation, nothing interesting.

Every single top 5 except TTFAF is now based on squeezing skill (One became a squeeze-war with Jprez's reFC), not on playing skill... thus if I have only one top 5, I'm a horrible squeezer, which makes me unhappy :(

I've only ever had 2 messages from you on Live, and I didn't respond because I was in the middle of a song, and I have a tendency to forget to respond by the time a song ends... My flow of FCs has kind of slowed since I've run up against the walls that are CoP and NFMH :( I had an excellent run of NFMH earlier this morning, and then in the middle I just started missing at completely random things... Editification: I have only one on-disc top 5 score... until I have more, I will be completely unhappy with my leaderboards, no matter what any of you consider good :(

I want to hurt something. Badly. Many many runs on CoP tonight, but the worst, most embarassing was one where I simply failed to strum a note in the Verse right before Start Soloing!... I literally forgot to strum. And then I missed 2 or 3 notes in the easiest part of Start Soloing!... and then I missed nothing else. Got all the squeezes. Including the 'difficult' squeeze that you need to get 1st. ... ... ... :(

Three reduxes of decentness. Managed to miss an 'easy' squeeze on each: [hide=Rock and Roll All Night][/hide] [hide=Same Old Song and Dance][/hide] [hide=Avalancha][/hide] Nothing horribly exceptional, but they were all horrible scores before this :

Yay reduxes! Really haven't done much, as my parents have kindly imposed limits on my playing time until such time as I finish college applications (I'm a procrastinator...) Today I did manage two decent reduxes: [hide=My Name is Jonas][/hide] I can hit the first squeeze with decent consistency, but the second squeeze gives me problems... I don't attempt the optimal third squeeze, but instead go for ticks - if Lo7 can't hit that squeeze, I'm not about to risk less points on trying it. [hide=Even Flow][/hide] Had a run where I had made a stupid mistake, so I fixed that in this run... still no actual squeezing done, just using the proper no-squeeze path to boost my score a bit. Doubt I'll ever improve on this :(

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
I finally did something interesting! First, story time: Guitar Hero hates me. As soon as one problem is fixed, another crops up. DLC appears to have finally stopped freezing. I celebrated. Then, the past two days, my guitar decided, "hey, I feel like double-strumming just so Saidin can't do well". I had one run where literally every single note was double-strummed. A potential 600k run on One was shot down to 555k by double-strums. Evil. Today, however, Guitar Hero felt like being nice to me. Not a single double-strum through an entire hour of playing. Story time over. On One, yesterday I was hitting FSB and FSD with such consistency it was scary... but the double-strums destroyed my score. Today, I was able to FC everything outside of the Fast Solos, but there was no FSB or FSD consistency to give me that small extra boost to my score :( Nonetheless, I was able to improve, and got this: This put me up to 44th on XBL leaderboards, so once again my Scorehero and XBL rank are the same! To continue with Metallica reduxes, I moved on to The End of the Line, which has very few FCs and horrible scores on those FCs. On my second run of the day, I pulled off a -2 (I'm consistent everywhere in the song except Solo B, on which I'm semi-consistent, so a FC is not out of the question), which put me in first on XBL: Sadly, a PS3 player (Rexisfed, excellent Playstation player in general) had a higher 1st, but I'm slightly better than him at star power-ness, so whenever I do successfully FC this, I'll have 1st! Aside from these progresses, I've choked on That Was Just Your Life AGAIN, this time simply because I forgot to strum >_>

It took me forever to find this, google wasn't helpful... Liek omigosh it r not cheet! The fact that guitarhero.com will pay attention to a score that used hyperspeed acknowledges that it is not a cheat, as guitarhero.com will only recognize songs that were played without cheats. Just because it happens to be in the cheat code menu doesn't mean it is still considered a cheat (though, yes, at one point it was).

Cheaters on Xbox Live
The only map that makes sense on is Guardian (circular area and a corridor with 'only one way to get into it' = the shotgun corridor). For the record, it is possible to drop down from the hallway above into the shotgun corridor - and thus, get behind anyone standing in it. People throwing grenades at you are not cheating by any means. In fact, your tales of Halo combine many maps, as the only warehouse-esque map is Foundry, which is only decent for sniping at best. If, in fact you were talking about a corridor on Foundry, the only possible one that could have 'only one entrance' is the back room with the bubble shield, which in fact has two entrances, along with a breakable window that can be used for throwing in grenades. For circular rooms with swords - this can only be The Pit, where people camp in the sword room pretty often. Overused, easy to beat if you have any level of experience (though charging in stupidly can be quite fun  ) In a few hundred games of Halo 3 on Live (main means of keeping in contact with some friends), I have encountered cheaters maybe 3 times... All 3 times, it was people forcing everyone else to lag (not just a bad connection, as made obvious by the source of the lag being perfectly functional when he should've been stuck in black screen). This has nothing to do with actually modifying the game or hacking it in any way, it's taking advantage of a connection to make people lag. No other form of cheating is readily available on matchmaking (though presumably it is possible, it is also decently-well-monitored), so, sorry, but the people you played against were simply better than you :|

You're having trouble with the spots that most commonly give people trouble (amazingly enough)... For Solo!: if you're any good at tapping, tap the oranges, if not... learn to pinky trill. I can do either of these methods with reasonable consistency, so I can't really say which is easier, though tapping it does tend to end with less chokes. For Start Soloing!: The first problem section simply involves practice... nothing more or less. The second problem section can be tapped, though I personally find it easier to one-hand... it's all about speed, so get it down on slower speeds first. For Keep Soloing!: Lrn2trill Wish I could help more, but I don't remember how I improved on those :/
