  1. It's weird but true. I'm much more inclined to dislike someone based on music taste than film taste, and i haven't the foggiest idea why. Maybe it's something to do with the whole culture that's associated with lots of music, which isn't so apparent with films.
  2. With workbench, you can make some furniture packs which you can sell to other players. Flat packed furniture, a la IKEA :P
  3. Eh? How'd he do that? :?
  4. Judging by the high level requirements for most of the interesting features maybe Jagex isn't intending this to be as hard a skill to train as farming or slayer?
  5. This is actually a pretty expensive skill. No, VERY expensive. 10k to convert 100 logs into planks? It looks good but so vast it's hard to get started. I'm chopping logs now, nails will be tough to obtain as well for a while.
  6. Holy smeg they've actually done it! I did not see this coming! There goes my barrows training! :D
  7. Anything from the first half of Full Metal Jacket. And this baby: A classic 8-)
  8. Rest in peace Andrew :(
  9. Yeah we have muck-up day too here. This year some of the best pranks were: T aping the school gates shut with lots and lots of masking tape. Putting a sign up directing ALL the traffic into the staff car park (it's a lot smaller). Constructing a mock speed camera complete with road lines, very clever and realistic (my school are monitoring speed for some planning permission). Planting a small tree in the middle of the cricket pitch. Replacing the school flag on the flagpost with a "gay pride" rainbow flag. Sounding a fog horn in the library. Putting a "for sale" sign up outside the school. :D
  10. Never EVER fight dharok without prayer unless you have a death wish. 36 isn't his max, he can hit a lot more with low hp.
  11. It's a fairly obvious point, but worth posting anyway. I was never entirely sure if it entirely refreshed the page until I tested.
  12. Aww look at the little purple bear-spider :D
  13. To me it does always seem a waste of their time and runes, and never really a fair challenge.
  14. This guide's great! I had no idea about that new pie shop, and just how handy Relleka is for various things. Thanks!
  15. Rcing is okay but i would say fairly repetitive. If you want to try something interesting go to the dagannoth kings, the KQ, or the barrows. Out of those the barrows is probably the easiest to get started with, but big profits can be made at the kings.
  16. 0 at the moment, i'm going to save them up and see what the new equipment is like. If not, prayer exp or hitpoints maybe.
  17. Holy schmoley, nice luck there. :D
  18. Superstrong telekinisis. That would be awesome. Teleportation powers would be very handy as well.
  19. To be honest i've found all Dan Brown's books pretty enjoyable cheap thrillers. Although after reading 4 of them it's pretty easy to work out who'll be the bad guy about 20 pages in. What i dislike about the books are the way he passes stuff that's blatantly rubbish off as fact. Not just in the Da Vinci code but in all the other books. Technologies are used that don't exist, or he uses technology and runs with them to the extent that they're no longer true. I wouldn't mind if he admitted that they were fiction, but at the begininning of each book he insists that it's all fact. Rubbish!
  20. It came to me in a dream, through my bedroom window... :D Or a Google search window, i forget which
  21. I wouldn't mind it I guess, but i think the novelty might wear off after a while.
  22. There is more than one channel. Turn over. To what? Strictly come bad dancing? I want to be a minor celebrity get me out of here? No thank you :P To anything you want, or better yet; don't watch TV! Bingo! :D At least not primetime.
  23. The Isley Brothers and Mungo Jerry are the two artists that bring back memories of summer to me. Other than that Jack Johnson is ideal for chilled out listening, and maybe some chilled out jazz. You can't go wrong with a bit of Simon & Garfunkel as well. The odd power ballad is nice, and even some country music, like Willie Nelson.
  24. I'm going for the Lion King, hand's down for me. One of my favourite films, loved it since I was a wee lad :)
