  1. Looks like the supermarket carpark on a friday :P
  2. I'm all for not judging people based on looks alone, but if i walked out of a bar because there were a load of people in it to me who just looked a bit rough, then i wouldn't think afterwards "oh snap i hope all the drunks weren't offended." Sometimes being wary or stereotypes can come in handy. Other times it's not, i know some great people who many might walk away from based on looks alone, but if i don't like the "look" of someone, be it clothes, hair, makeup or just the way he's standing, i'll walk away. I trust my instincts, even if they are sometimes based on stereotype.
  3. Try coming back, if you don't like it then just quit again. No real commitment except the members cost but you can cancel that.
  4. If you want to work out what savings you get simply halve your smithing level. For example if you're level 54 smithing you get a 25% reduction off what it would cost for Bob to fix it. Simple.
  5. I've calculated that using a butler it costs me 5k in fees per 80 oak planks that he converts from noted oak logs (that's taking them from bank, to sawmill etc.) I use the butler now because for half the price he's not half as slow. It's a pain, but easy enough to work into calculations for costs.
  6. Just worked out it'll cost me 556.5k to get to 60 from 55, using oak planks and a butler. Not too bad really.
  7. Lobsters are competent for healing on, i normally finish my inventory of 12 lobbies or have a couple to spare at the end. I prefer monkfish though. It's just i want to use these lobsters up.
  8. Another interesting point about food there is that if you bring a knife you can pick the pineapple plant at the bottom of the course and slice it for free food each lap. It's handy for keeping your hp boosted.

Damn, i hope he gets better. Cancer...it's just one of those horrible horrible things that we can't get rid of. I really hope he pulls through. Comeon Steve!
  10. 80 i think.
  11. Great guide, some very helpful tips and a detailed explanation as well. It would be great if you could do this for some other skills. :)
  12. It's still "technically" 60 experience points per Oak plank. Using the armor is actually what gives those extra bits of points, besides isn't gathering enough points for the CW armor very time consuming? You need 18 points just for the three pieces of the lowest armor and you ALWAYS go twenty minutes long. So that's 360 minutes or six hours worth of gameplay. That's just for the lowest armor! If you dismantle the cw armour stand though you get your armour back
  13. I love this album, Frusciante's guitar work is easily his best so far, some of the riffs are great, and the chords of the chorus in "Especially in Michigan" are perfect, just perfect. There are a lot of good songs on this song that could make potential singles, Snow ((Hey Oh)) comes to the mind instantly, what a riff. Some of the more funky songs show a nice return to the Chili's roots, even though if they do clash a bit with the more modern style songs. It may seem a bit long but compared to the 38 tracks they originally wrote it's a good length. Overall, a fine return to the charts for the Chili's :D
  14. Figures why i still don't have a basilisk head :(
  15. I have a lot of respect for people with high slayer and high farming. Both hard skills, that yes, you can throw money at but still take hard work.
  16. I didn't actually think this was a bug, and that Jagex intended for us to be able to get him to unnote logs etc. without the huge fees. I need to check it myself but it's a shame if it is. How much money do Jagex want draining?
  17. I find it quite worrying how high your voice managed to go on that Guns N' Roses cover :P You should try it on helium
  18. Or you could bring a dueling ring, tele to castle wars etc. I dunno, if you have enough.
  19. I agree with the idea of houses that can be accessed even when the owner isn't online. Like a guest list. It would be implemented for clans nicely i guess.
  20. Just calculated that it'll take me 657828gp to get 60 construction from 51 using oak logs.
  21. Not only is it fun, it's also a very socialable skill. Inviting friends/randomers round for parties at your house can bring the community together, in a way.
  22. Best wishes to the both of you, even though I can't make it, i hope you have a great time. :)
  23. ...which are shown on the shields and banners, pics of which can be found in the knowledge base.
  24. It might be hard to browse through and would soon get swamped with pictures. Could be a temporary solution though.
