  1. You mean you want to go play the game? :P When it was The Ashes my school went cricket crazy. Everywhere you looked there was a bowl being down. It was good but when a week passed the celebration they stopped and went back to normal :|. Yeah i'd prefer to play it than watch (I find it boring) but still, the master's is pretty to good to watch in the background.
  2. I've had a bit of Spaghetti Western day today :D A Fistful Of Dollars The first in the Sergio Leone trilogy, and possibly the crudest. However none of them were really that refined, so it doesn't make that much of a difference. This was very good, with Clint Eastwood throughout, playing the tough loner. For A Few Dollars More This was Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef teaming up with very good results. The music score by Ennio Morriconne is even better than the first, and the gritty, tongue in cheek humour and acting is on top form. The final showdown is suspense at it's finest. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly My favourite of the three, Eastwood, Van Cleef and that-guy-who-plays-Tuco (arguably steals the show with this one) hunt for buried treasure whilst the Civil War is raging around them. We see an Eastwood here that seems less invincible, but still on top form. The music is fantastic (Ennio Morriconne at his finest), and the final few scenes, particularly the Mexican showdown are (as Quentin Tarantino put it) "cinematically perfect"
  3. Sailing for 2 weeks in Cornwall as per usual :)
  4. *Subliminal Messaging*? :P They did always seem very spaced out...
  5. See ya man, thanks for all the good times you gave us, although i've only even been able to attend a shameful fraction of the events you've hosted, they've been highlights of my RS career. Good luck with the rest of your life :)
  6. Bill & Ben, the flowerpot men?!?! And Little Weed :P
  7. I know what you mean, i've got the album and it is fairly consistent throughout. It's quite nice though for background music when i'm working or reading though.
  8. How's this for old-skool? Watch With Mother 8) I've got the video somewhere :P [/url]
  9. I think this is very interesting. I've heard of the Gnostic Gospels before, and to me it seems perfectly plausible that other disciples wrote accounts of the life of Jesus of Nazareth. It seems accurate enough, i'd love to read the translation.
  10. Golf in my opinion is like cricket. Great game to play, but whenever I watch it a part of me dies inside :( Okay, i'm exaggerating but you know what I mean :P
  11. There have been a few documentaries which have stood out on UK TV. The Blue Planet, Walking With Dinosaurs and Planet Earth. Other than that, Scrubs, Friends and CSI and CSI Miami.
  12. I like England, it can be a bit dreary at times, and the politics can be boring, but the people are generally nice (except the chavs) and the opportunities and services are generally very good. I can feel quite patriotic at times but i'm no monarchist, I just admire aspects of my country.
  13. I'm not even going to ask about the chaffing you're gonna get from that thing :P Good luck, you're crazy, crazy to do the marathon in the first place, even crazier to do it in a thong. I'll make a donation if i can, and i'll be looking out for you on TV :D
  14. I'll be giving this my full support, it's time sensible suggestions like this started being noticed and implemented by Jagex. It may be their game but we're the ones who play it.
  15. If you want to build up your confidence with your fingers it might be just as easy to play random improvisations, they don't have to sound any good but they might help your fingers develop without you having to worry about hitting the right note.
  16. Or maybe try to make it actually funny...I don't know. Yeah well preferably both :P
  17. She's really not cool. Anyone who is famous because of their daddy's money, and who owns a dog that wears designer clothes isn't cool. AND she's not that attractive. She's a pampered princess who loves herself and her dog more than is sanely possible.
  18. Oh yeah, that's amazing! Have you ever listened to the live version Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton play it together? Mr Putter: The overall song is amazing  I haven't but i'll definintely try and find it now, thanks! :)
  19. These aren't my most played, but they're the ones i've been playing a fair bit recently because they're new. Sultans Of Swing - Dire Straits Express Yourself - Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band London Calling - The Clash Live With Me (Radio Edit) - Massive Attack November Rain - Guns N' Roses The Ecstasy Of Gold - Ennio Morricone Tainted Love - Gloria Jones Smokin' Cheeba Cheeba - Harlem Underground Band Keep On Rockin' In The Free World - Neil Young Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd

 Very funny Google, worryingly believable.
  21. Seriously? Damn, some people are really guillable. Or maybe i'm too cynical... :(
  22. I once swapped the names on my friends mobile phone between my phone and his girlfriend, so i could send him texts from my phone that looked like came from her. Hilarious to see his face about some of the things she(me) texted him.
  23. Try something evenly remotely believable next time.
  24. I actually hate that little spoiled girl. She's a daddy's princess, i'd love to see her trying to make it in the real world. Her and that damn pooch/lapdog/puffball of hers.
  25. The guitar intro from Money for Nothing by Dire Staits. And there's a drum riff near the end of Spirit by the Ceasars which would be cool if it went on.
