  1. Chav rock or not, i've just bought the new album and really like it. It's true that a lot of music that deserves the airplay doesn't get it, but that's just the way of the music world, being in the right place at the right time. Personally i really like the Arctic Monkeys, sure i wouldn't play it early in the morning, or in other settings, but it's good fun.
  2. Actually that's not a bad idea at all, they would be bad to train on so it's not like noobs would go there to train. But honestly guys, you worked hard enough to get 85 slayer and now you can't stand a few beggars? I've been there before out of curiosity, there are beggars everywhere we look, why should the abby's be free from them? Use your ignore list...
  3. Yuck...look's awful :?
  4. The autoing community dead? Dream on...
  5. Haha, that's brilliant. I found myself swatting at the air behind me before i got used to it, and it really does tickle! :D
  6. If you want to lose weight I cannot fully emphasize the virtues of running and cycling, as Barihawk said, at least 30 minutes a week, 3 times a week. At whatever pace you can manage, don't overdo it, since you want to try and build it up anyway. Eat the breakfast of a king, the lunch of a prince, and the dinner of a pauper apparently, and if you're going to snack make it healthy, like fruit or nothing. As for weights...try to stick to pushups and sit ups for the moment, it may not be glamorous but remember, muscle is heavier than fat, if you really want to lose weight don't purely train weights.
  7. Foghat - The Best Of Foghat, bought it after having one of there songs and liking it, i wanted to see if the rest of their songs held up to standard.
  8. Incase ya don't know, their new album, "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" is the apparently the fastest selling debut album of all time. What makes them pretty special is their huge fan base has mostly been built up over internet blogs and through their website. I don't have the new album myself, but i'm going to try and get it this Saturday, it's supposed to be very good. But i'm sure i'm just stating the obvious here, so does anyone have it here? What's it like? Do you even like the Arctic Monkeys? Is it all hype? (Not IMO) Have you seen any of their gigs? etc. etc. I have a couple of their single releases, I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, and Five Minutes With The Arctic Monkeys and they're great, hopefully the album will be just as good.
  9. Yeah I know, it's almost gone the other way round in certain areas now. :( Yeah, it has. A couple of comments at me in no way out does the years of abuse some ethnicities have had to suffer and still suffer to this date. It's probably the worse though, persecuting someone because they're a different culture, it's the lowest of the low. Racism is never acceptable. It sickens me how people judge others by where they come from and the colour of their skin, still i'd be naive to think that society could ever be totally immune from it.
  10. Yeah I know, it's almost gone the other way round in certain areas now. :(
  11. Like How2pk said, somehow get her msn, get chatting to her, and try to meet her with a few friends or something if you're not wholly confident at first. See how it goes, and good luck :)
  12. It's a sad world we live in when people plant severed fingers in food for money.
  13. Thanks for all the help guys, it's just an outdoor small cube rink that's up for a few months during the winter. I hired the skates they have there, looked pretty standard but i'm no expert so i don't know what type they were. I think i've got quite a few ideas of what to do now, I should be able to stay up for a bit. :)
  14. Dead Poets Society Oh so brilliant, truly brilliant. Makes you question your own life and everything you've been taught. The acting was superb, and it was...i'm speechless, i've never empathised with a film so well.
  15. Rock <34248721498!!!! Which is your favorite Rocky movie? My favorites are Rocky II and Rocky IV. :D I've only seen the first one so far, but if you think some of the sequels are better i'll have to get those out :)
  16. Never roller-bladed as a kid, always was out on my bike :( I think i'll try the knee bending trick. Do I try and keep my weight forward or straight? My prefered method of stopping is either to go flying into the barrier or fall over. :P
  17. Obviously no mixed artist compilation albums, what about greatest hits albums? Should we just stick with original releases? Hmm
  18. Rocky Really good film, Stallone was brilliant in it and i thought the music pretty much suited the whole atmosphere. I thought whoever the girl who played Adrienne was really good, and really adapted into the shy girl role. The big fights were very well done and looked very realistic.
  19. Not a big country fan, but i've always liked Willie Nelson, my dad always has him on his cars cd player, some of the songs bring back good memories.
  20. Haha, no I meant I need to stop it, it just seems the natural way to balance to me. Not good though on a crowded ice rink. ;) Thanks for the advice otherwise though, I think i'll just pray to God that i somehow gain a sense of balance on ice. :P
  21. Hah yeah, I think i got a few sympathy faces from her for falling, it was my flailing arms terrifying small children that i think i need to work on :P
  22. Yeah, after about 30 minutes of wall hugging you think i'd get it right? :P I might take some stabilizers or something... As for the stopping bit, i don't know how the wall reacted to me blaming it all the time
  23. A brief background: Went ice skating today for the first time in a long time, with a few friends and a girl I like. Sounds like the perfect romantic setting huh? It would of been if i was able to actually remain balanced for more than a few metres and have a bit more confidence. The phrase "like a newborn baby deer on ice" springs to mind. I'm going again next week and really don't want the same to happen again, so i could do with some tips. I've been on a few sites who have offered a few tips but they seem to be tailored to potential ice hockey players or figure skaters. Just basic stuff really, the correct foot action how to balance etc. would be much appreciated. :)

Haha that was hilarious, the other was was also...disturbing
  25. I think a general greatest album of all time would be great. I was just saying greatest book of all time wouldn't be that much harder than album. Ugh, please no greatest album per genre. I can imagine all the fights during a greatest metal, punk or emo album. :P I bet half the emo album fans wouldn't even admit their music was emo :P
