Specialty shops would be shops that sold specific items, just as just shields, or just herblore stuff. They are all over runescape. Hope my info is right and that this answers your question.

I have tried it, I haven't measured the steps though, but West seemed faster to me, i guess ill time it, thanks

I've looked for one, I don't think there's a way to permanently turn it off, even on low detail

I'm pretty sure it's faster than Varrock East, and yes there is a mugger there (level six)

This may have already been posted, but I would like to see a costume of some sort, most likely a bunny, but other easter-related things too. The ring from last easter was kind of stupid, and I don't even remember Easter 2005 (I was playing then, started june 2004) I think it was the rubber chicken but that may have been for April Fools day.
