  1. Prayer isn't really like any other skill, except maybe hitpoints, because it's a skill that needs to be drained to be of any use (same with hits, unless you're being hit, 10 is the same as 99 ;)). The motivation to train prayer is so that it lasts longer without having to refill it, so while at 52 you can use everything there is to offer in prayer, continuing to train it still offers more benefits ;)
  2. Charge was the same a couple of years ago :P Spells like that are never supposed to be abused for experience, and are therefore fixed as soon as Jagex catches onto them, can't really have expected it to have stayed that way :P
  3. I don't think so :P What's it matter if someone can see your stats? If you're ashamed of a skill then train it, if you're happy with the level it's at, you shouldn't care if someone sees it. ;) I just think it's a fun spell to use. :)
  4. Having a combat requirement is no different to having a skill requirement. For level 85 it takes around 70 atk/def/str/hits, and 50 prayer. They could have just given those requirements instead, and made it even worse for people who don't train defence. Quests have requirement in all skills, this is one of the very few quests that actually has a combat stat requirement at all. It's about time they added one really.
  5. Wow, you have to pay for the spell AND use runes for it, too? Or was it not explained right, and it's just the runes that you have to use? If you have to pay for it, aswell as use the runes, it's totally pointless :P If you only have to use the runes, that makes it around 700 per spell (2 astral, 1 nature), which is still very nice for mahog :o
  6. I agree :? Construction was released as a money drain to help the economy. The majority of the money that was being drained was going into planking (decorative items take alot, but all at once, planks continue to drain). With planking via the sawdust guy beng almost useless now, that takes away alot of that money drain. However with less money going into construction now, it leaves room for people to spend their money elsewhere, which could create a slight rise in other items. EDIT: Post below makes what I said pointless :P Glad Jagex didn't make it a full inv :)
  7. Lumbridge, not your home. ;) And the other two didn't really need pointing out, not as if ancients were going to send you to lunar isle :P
  8. Well, that'll stop the "lowest level that can wear quest cape" threads :XD:
  9. That's nice :o The "In other news" are more interesting to me this month than the main update :XD:
  10. I agree, while there are still alot of 18+ players, the amount of 12-13 year olds far exceeds it, specifically on f2p, bringing down the average. So 14-15 seems about right.
  11. :o Congrats on 100m total xp babyy :D :D
  12. I really don't like the term 'quit' when refering to a game. You don't 'quit' a playstation game, you get bored and may not play for a while, I don't see why RS should be any different :P I've gotten bored of, and stopped playing, rs a couple of times. I always seem to find interest in the game again after a while. I doubt that will change, either, if I get bored again i'll stop :P If I don't want to play again anymore after that, I won't :P Something that annoys me is when people say their goal is to 'quit rs'.. It's only a game, if you don't want to play, don't o_O Probably wrote alot more than I needed to, but wanted to say it
  13. Congrats again :D  Oh   Yup ;)
  14. doesn't mean the problem is fixed. :| Where did he say it was fixed? o_O Anyway, I highly doubt it had anything to do with Jagex not wanting them to do it anymore. Would have been moreso because Ebay were just sick of the complaints of people not getting what they paid for, and having to deal with it.
  15. Mostly fun. I started out with Pyramid Plunder playing for fun, after 10m~ xp there it starts to lose it's appeal though :XD: I don't really play many minigames, I solo trawler occasionally if i'm bored, for fun, and also play castle wars a couple of times a week. Apart from that there aren't really any other minigames I play
  16. Been a while since I did the quest, but from memory I think he's here: :)
  17. Pff, like 3k, slacker  Lol  *Princess
  18. They will be 3-3.5m~ soon, there are so many ways to get them for that price now (runes, obsidian items, rune ore), that unless all of them drastically rise, furies can only decrease further ;)
  19. Hijacking your thread to post this :) Even though you said I could O:) Just got 99 cooking :) Congrats on your levels too, again :
  20. ranting is going "POWG JAGEX U SUC" over it... i'm merely voicing my question of whether anyone else was having troubles I think his statement was directed towards the thread creator :?
  21. -.- Quests are good for you :-w
  22. He answered your question in what you quoted o_O
  23. You need to "Be assigned a Slayer task by Duradel in Shilo Village", which requires 100 combat and 50 slayer ;)
  24. who moaned that it was too hard? if it had been released slot of time ago i would have all of the challenges completed, there really isnt anything hard about any of them. Now being a lvl100 cb is common ? And no longer considered a high lvl player? Unfortunately i'd say it is, yes :P There's over 1000 126s now, even that's common
