Land of the Goblins, Assist System and Skill interface
I bet it's just a way to leave the story open for yet another sequel. [hide=Just my view on one of the puzzles, click to reveal] I enjoyed the last puzzle in the quest. It was so fun when these RS kids couldn't figure out that circle's area is pi*r̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâò, and when you increase r it goes up squared. (I.e. make r 3 times bigger -> area comes 9 times bigger.) This is very high mathematics in RS :) [/hide]

Are your randoms way uneven too?
Other randoms tons of times but never Evil Bob's Island. I see people around me getting it every day but I never get this one. The only tune I have unlocked is from that random.

Post your Manage thy Kingdom results.
Ah, thanks for that. I only searched for a picture with 999 seed nests. I see there's a huge glitch there. I wonder if they fix it any time soon.

Post your Manage thy Kingdom results.
not true. but the problem would be, runescape could not exsist in 4 years time lol. anyway, good luck on your goal, sounds nice. i'm pretty sure it is true, a picture here a while ago should've gotten 1100 nests, but only got 999 Any ideas where I could see that picture? Couldn't find it from this thread.

Post your Manage thy Kingdom results.
I have a plan to get tree seeds for 99 farming from the kingdom by keeping 100% herbs and 50% maple for a total of 4 years. Wasn't planning to collect the resources until the very end to get a massive amount. However, I recently heard a strange rumour: You can't get more than 999 seed nests per withdraw. Could someone confirm this true or false? If that rumour is true, I'd better withdraw the resources every once in a while :?

The general theory behind challenge scroll drops
I killed imps for 5 months when the scrolls came out. Also killed other monsters. Finally got the scroll, and it was from the imps. If your theory was true, imps were the only monsters that I had the chance to get the scroll. In that case I was really, really unlucky with imps because it took me so long.

Champions scrolls
When this thing came out some time ago, I made a decision I got to get one of the scrolls. "I'll start from the easiest one", I thought. And for 5 months I did nothing but kill imps. Finally got the challenge scroll, though. Then a few weeks ago I went to waste my crystal bow shots. After I had shot my both bows to a seed, I decided to use ~2000 iron arrows from my bank as well at Magic Guild zombies. And that's how I got my zombie scroll. Went to shoot the rest of the arrows at goblins, and got that too in like 10 kills.

18 September 2007 - The ZMI Altar
At the runecrafting level of 87 I find this update a very welcome one. I can get almost twice the exp I would gain by crafting natures through abyss. Of course the profit is not that great, but it's still something. (About half the profit I'd make with nats.) Plus it's free of PK'er annoyance! So, bottom line: Half the profit, almost double the exp. I think I'll do this until I'm 91 RC. After that point the profits of nature crafting surely surpass the pros of ZMI.

RUNESCAPE BE FULL SCREEN YES/NO
No. If something, make it smaller. I like to study or read other things from the monitor as I play, makes both things way less tedious.

RS Monday Poll: How did you do?
I did 5/6 too. The last question was almost impossible.

lets talk DREAMS
I currently want another berserker ring. Too lazy to search for the picture at the moment. I'm killing Dagannoth Rex currently to get it. I already have one of these, but I hate it how my bank gets messy when I withdraw items so I'm getting another one to be a bank slot marker.

Ever wish Jagex didn't update something?
Pretty much all there is. I think the game is being updated way too much. I don't mean that the updates are bad, Jagex is doing incredible job with them. The only problem is the multitude of them. I always have way too much to accomplish in RS, and with weekly big updates I feel I can't advance enough.

Monday Poll: What brightness setting do you play on?
I've always used the "second notch". Yes, it is a tad dark for the darkest dungeons, but then I just temporarily use a brighter option. The reason for this is that way back in 2001-2002 this was called the "normal" setting (or default, same idea). So I thought that I wanted to see things they were meant to be, normal. Now we have gotten 1 or 2 more brightness options, but if you didn't switch it, it stayed at the 2nd notch.

wise old man's "achievement"
I finished this in 4 hours. Had my blue party hat on at all times, just like the Wise Old Man. I even did the wildy part with it and got skulled. The reason it took this long was that I didn't use a single teleport and did a Kalphite Queen trip in the middle.

Runescape Themes Sheet Music
Exactly. Notation is for musicians without talent. You may as well run a pianola roll. I dare to disagree. Playing by ear is a skill, playing by notation is another skill. Both have their strong sides and weak sides, none is better. It's just plain ignorance to say that notes are for non-talented people.

Runescape Themes Sheet Music
Yes, that's the way you got them before. They were stored there as MIDI files. Now they have some weird .dat and .idx cache files which include the MIDIs somehow, but not directly like before.

Runescape Themes Sheet Music
Oh, darn. I remember importing midis months ago just out of curiosity and played some with my guitar. Didn't know that the system has changed :( I was planning on doing notation for every single tune in RS, but never got into it. And of course I could import what you have, just send them to thingummywut (at) jippii.fi EDIT: Actually found the main theme which I saved on my hard drive. I can send it to you if you give me your e-mail.

Runescape Themes Sheet Music
I could make them really easily as they're already stored in MIDI format. Just import them to Guitar Pro (it's a program that uses MIDI to playback guitar (and other instrument) notes) and you got all the music sheets you need. It's easiest for you to get this program (it's a free trial) and import the RS MIDIs.

Aug 15, 2007: Dev diaries and themed worlds update
Note that it ain't 8-page but a 8-bar song. The pics only had notes for 8 different instruments so it looks bigger. Also, the pics didn't give any tempo so I just used 120 bpm, also known as "moderate" tempo.

OK, I succesfully googled a hosting site. NOTE THAT THIS SITE IS COMPLETELY ALIEN TO ME TOO, SO USE THE FOLLOWING LINK AT YOUR OWN RISK. Aug 15, 2007: Dev diaries and themed worlds update
The piano pic is from that silly penguin quest if I'm not mistaken. Anybody know a site that could host my MIDI version of this track? EDIT: And for the E key request: It's kind of tricky to do since the song really doesn't follow any key. It's hard to decide which of the instruments is even "lead". At least the flute, which has kind of dominating effect on this one hasn't got a specific (common) key.

Aug 15, 2007: Dev diaries and themed worlds update
I've already transcribed the notation into MIDI format. To be honest, the tune ain't that great. It's very... chaotic, to be straight. Lots of things that don't make really any sense to me, just like hitting random notes. Especially the first track, Strings. Total non-sense. But well, can't wait to hear the full version. Could be good, as there's a thin line between chaotic and genious :)

What's YOUR White Knight Rank?
Master here as well. Got the rank straight after I was done with the quest the day it was released.

They have updated the graphics in Prison Pete random event.

New prayers from King Ransom (pictures)
The drain rate is slower than 3 of the 15% prayers combined, so these are really good prayers. The drain rate for chivalry and piety is little slower than 1 point per second (~0,80/second), whereas all the 15% prayers combined is about 1/second. Just don't go around shouting these values as truth, since it was just a very quick test I made because I was curious. Someone should do exact tests.
