If you havent done any RFD, you're skipping over the best gloves ingame. It's well worth the effort. I never understood why people wold put money into bandos/getting fire cape, and refuse to get free gloves (that have a better str bonus...)

It depends largely on what you wish to do. If you're seriously about pking, you will level range, magic, and melee (at least if you wish to be effective). Bare in mind that leveling one to the point where you make [decent] money will take a large amount of time.

1. Virus scan 2. Bank PIN 3. Quit visiting sites related to rs besides the very trusted. 4. Use an onscreen keyboard for logging in.

I made a staker (in 2006) that had roughly those stats. He was 74 50 70. I actually did VERY well staking. I used whip/barrows. Additionally you can level range/magic and get gear for them as well to expand the options. Statistically this setup will beat mains/low defense pures (of equal or slightly higher combat) the majority of the time, whereas two maxed characters are on more of an equal field. Much of my information regarding staking is now outdated (I quit for 4 years :P). I am not familiar with the current trends, however this setup worked great when I was one of the few using it.

So, I just started playing RS again, after a 3 year hiatus. Needless to say, some things have changed. I'm using my old staker as my main, so I have alot of levels to go (basically in everything). So, my question is, what range gear is now efficient? I'm currently only 62 range. Funds are limited. Most of the arrows etc, i plan on making to level my other skills. A friend mentioned grabbing a dark bow, but I was not sure if it is more effective than magic shorts. Any advice would be appreciated!

okay thanks for the input guys, i did royal trouble, and i put about 1.5m in the coffers for a week.... im just goign to get it to 100% everyday (if i can) to make sure. Thanks for the help :)

Well, i recently completed TOM quest and i was wondering when managing my kingdom, do i have to keep my rating to 100% each day for max. output, or just the day of collection? I've heard people say it both ways, and i just want teh facts. Thanks. :wink:

either way, if you ask me intels chips cost too much for my likes... theres others that offer better for cheaper :roll:

well i wasnt really planning on using it for any fps's... i do know that their requirements are the highest of any of the games... but idk probably more along the lines of aoe3...etc and some rpgs maybe...thanks everyone else... i was planning on getting new mouse/keyboard/moniter... also....even if i went along the lines of building my own liek that wondows alone would put the cost up higher than a bundle at one of those ebsites i mentioned.... oh and dell... it sucks... anyone who has ever shooped around and looked at the prices they charge know its WAY too high of a price for what you actaully get...

Alright, well since im getting tired of this old heap im on, i've decided into looking for an upgrade. I'm considering buying a new pc, and i need some input. First off, my budget is roughly $1,000 (US). And i intend this computer to be for gaming/other junk that being said.... whats a decent vid. card that i could get for a moderate price, as well that could suppost most games? Also what processor? Also, id like around 1000mb of ram... Any sites would also be helpful if i can find out the hardware that would be best suited..... Lately, ive been checking into ibuypower.com and cyberpowerinc.com anyway, any advice/suggestions will be GREATLY apprectiated!

that wouldnt scratch the surface....... a one time payment on ANYTHING is a sorry drain, the new barrows equipment is the only drain in game, or idea that ive seen that actually works and continues to drain money
