70 in Ranged skill, 75 in Woodcutting and 80 in Firemaking are my current goals.

To get my Ranged skill up to 70. I'm sick of seeing these poor black d-hide sitting in my inventory and I don't want to sell. XD

I never prevent someone from running off if they're in danger of dying, I come and join in their fight to help if I can. Most of the time, they're level 60-70 players and I told him/her to get away, so I can finish the monster for them. If I cannot attack it directly, of course.

How do you go to the starting place? Miscellania? Rellekka? Other?

Yes, what tintmangbpack said. Super Heat is better for smithing metal that you just mined and that required lot of coal, like mythril and up. It gives you more space to keep on mining. But it's better to use the Nature runes for H. Alchemy. It gives you more Magic Exp too.

The portal looks nice and the lava sending projectiles is a very good diea, makes the whole thing much more realistic. :D
