  1. I offered my insights as to this on the other thread, but nonetheless that was moved. Even among doubts that this "high level forum" truly existed, inside I hoped that it was real. These players (knowing a few myself) are the cream of the crop in RuneScape. Many argue that RuneScape is nothing more than just clicking, and for a few skills it may be just that - however, to achieve level 99 in every skill is something different altogether. Thus, as it does not merely involve brain dead clicking, there is something functioning behind the character we see in the game. Some of the players might not be interested in the forum, but I believe that the majority who do will offer some valuable information and suggestions to Jagex. Most of these players have been around for a long period of time and know the game well; those that haven't been around for long obviously know the game very well also, as they would have to have the best training techniques to catch up to those who have played for far longer. This is the kind of input that should be offered to Jagex: input that is offered by people who know the game the best, and will contribute positively to the game. I can't wait to see what arises as a result of this forum, though it is not for certain that we will ever know which updates are made as a result of feedback in that forum.
  2. Bah, wanted to go 3 for 3 and complete my ringmaster outfit this week.. 1408 on Magic.. 1270 on Ranged.. 1178 on Agility.. (failed last 2 stunts :( ) Oh well, hopefully next week for sure. Just missing the last piece now.
  3. Finally sold my red partyhat in MIN GE price after 2 months of it being on GE!!
  4. Yep, this method works, just tried it this week. Magic: 1127 - failed two level 99 spells (even though I'm level 99 magic, lol...) Ranged: 1275 - failed no throws, emote in between, all level 90 throws (I'm level ranged 95) Agility: 1321 - failed one chinchompa juggle, did only backflip and chinchompa juggles, (I'm level 71 agility)
  5. Remember that there is another week in September, so, it could be released next week still. Remember that they dont have to update it around 1pm, they could do it at 5 pm CET. They do that sometimes. Also true. Either way, I can't wait for this quest to come out... Anyone notice that the quests have been getting harder (and more rewarding) recently? All Fired Up - Not so hard, but definitely rewarding post-quest (Ring of Fire, Flame Gloves, Inferno Adze) Summers End - Quite hard actually in terms of damage taken, and also rewarding post-quest (Experience boosts in multiple skills from portals in addition to the quest reward which was good to begin with, chance at 40-90m shields...) And from the way that this quest is sounding, it could be very good.

  7. The picture is from runescape.com... from the update yesterday.
  8. No. Thanks for the info. Would've preferred it if it did, oh well.
  9. Do you get any crafting experience for breaking apart larger granite pieces?
  10. Currently 9 exp from 99 strength, and working on 99 cooking. Planning on getting them on the same day, will be 99s number 9 and 10. :) [hide=Hi-Res][/hide]
  11. Have full acrobat and a clown hat now.. funny thing is, I got the highest score on my lowest skill (agility level 71, got 1013 points)...
  12. Possibly a Mahjarrat quest that we've been speculating about for months... The rewards could be insane... Who knows.. I can't wait!
  13. Didn't get the picture of the reward screen, but it's your choice to believe it or not. 1x Pirate's Hat 2x Zamorak Full Helm 1x Zamorak Plate Legs 15x Shark
  14. I had to kill 2965 irons for a single visage... they don't come easy. And I've never heard of beginner's luck for visages, although I've heard of a lot of 'd legs on 20th steel' stories, which I do believe to be true. D legs are about 1/250 as are d skirts. Visages are probably 1/2000-2500 for irons. Got a visage on my 43rd steel dragon kill ever (task of 44 steel dragon kills).
  15. Much talk of RSC Santas and Masks on this thread, just posting this picture for anyone who has never seen them: [hide=][/hide] By the way, I voted for the Pet Reindeer, which barely lost.
  16. Wanting to borrow: Any Godsword Time: 1-6 Hours Price: Will let you borrow red phat for same duration :)
  17. I have the same graphics card and the game runs fine. You should be okay.
  18. A screenshot from me to show off the lighting effects. [hide=Smoking Well, Dust Devils][/hide]
  19. I have 512 and it lagged for me too, but once you restart the game (after you've fully loaded it once) it's pretty smooth. And I am absolutely wow'ed by this update. I'm not one for graphics but Jagex have really done a good job with this.
  20. Not really an in-game screenshot, but I found this tool to be quite amazing, especially when looking at your Runescape progress. Here are graphs of the experience I gained weekly while training summoning: (hi-res) [hide=Magic][/hide][hide=Hitpoints][/hide][hide=Summoning][/hide] And if you missed it the first time, the actual party video: [hide=]y8ag73bEQSU [/hide] This tool can be found here: http://t.rscript.org/.
  21. Link to wallpaper? Yah, I want to know that wallpaper, because it is pretty darn sweet. http://pl0.deviantart.com/art/Abstract-Wallpaper-51032055 All credit goes to PL0 from DeviantArt
