  1. nice BTTF :D . I might have to give it a try, lol. Oh STFreakU. It USED to work, but my host suddenly became all dumb and now their GMT is actually -7 GMT and they have PHP safe mode and all sorts of other weird crap.
  2. Wham-o. http://www.bttfman.com/sigs/random/ This one came out before uzzisoft's but didn't get exposure because of my site being censored because some people didn't work with me concerning the supposed breaking of certain rules. Unlimited sigs. Eat your heart out. EDIT: CRAP! My host is being stupid again. It doesn't work, just like every other damn thing on my website. Sorry about that. I'll figure out something...
  3. If I am vigilant in my programming, I may be able to complete everything Monday. All tip.it users will be open to the beta.
  4. Computer ordered. Ph33r t3h $854 0wnage. BTW, I use this as proof that Dell is inferior. I got 3yr Warranty and 1yr Onsite Service. Buy CyberPower XPlorer Mid-Tower Case w/ LCD Temp. Display, Fan Control, Side Window, 2 Case Fans (Black w/ Black Grill) Blue Cold Cathode Neon Light inside case AMD Athlon 64 3000+ with HyperTransport MSI K8N Neo4 with 10 USB, 7.1 Surround, 2 PCI-E, 2 Ethernet 1024MB Geil PC3200 DDR 400Mhz Ram (2x512) 80GB 7200 RPM ATA/100 Hard Drive Leadtek/Winfast NVidia 6600GT 16x PCI-E 128MB Samsung TS-H522B 16X DVD̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâñR/̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâñRW + CD-R/RW DRIVE DUAL LAYER (but Black) Black 1.44MB Floppy Drive Black Internal 6 in 1 Media Writer Logitech X530 70Watts 5.1 Configuration Speaker System Black Logitech Keyboard and Wheel Ball Mouse (both PS/2). Windows XP Pro (free, because my dad is getting the Microsoft Action Pack with 10 XP Pro licenses) White Samsung 17" Monitor max 1280x1024 (already had it) This computer could easily own any Dell computer for that price. Somebody price me a Dell with that configuration. This computer is teh 0wnage for this price. If I screwed up, tell me now, so I can correct it or something. 3 Extra Case Fans
  5. How's this... AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Nvidia 6600GT 128MB PCI-E 16X 80GB HD 1024MB RAM (512x2) Cold Cathode Neon Blue Light Would I need any extra case fans? And, if I did, would they be excessively loud and would I want a fan controller to shut them off during low activity?
  6. @goku: Yes, it works with iTunes, forgot to mention that. I haven't tested it with iTunes, but [http]ami[[/url] works with my service and it's available for iTunes, so yeah, it does, in theory. @devil: You don't have to have mp3. I believe AMIP for iTunes reads tags off of AAC files too, or if you have them named in an artist - title[extension not allowed] type way, then you can just set it to display the filename. @Cameron: No, you can just turn off the plugin when you're watching stuff like that.
  7. Holy Koalas! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! In case you were wondering why I am so happy, I got it to work with AMIP. This adds Apollo, QCD, and fb2k support. Now all that remains is a Winders Media and Musicmatch plugin, as well as Real if anyone uses that. Plugins are easy as pie to add, so if anyone wants to write a plugin for any of the players, just tell me and I will give you details. I also finished the database module. This will allow outside developers to retrieve a user's database and perform analysis on it, making for uber-cool expandability options.
  8. Oooh... http://amip.tools-for.net/index.php This will solve all of my problems. I am a very happy boy right now... That is, assuming it works well and doesn't use some queer proprietary protocol, like some plugins.
  9. I didn't write the plugin, it is made by someone else. I coded the web part of it. But my friend knows Visual C++ so he might be able to make some plugins as well.
  10. I don't know if you guys remember, but a while ago I was working on a multi-user system similar to Listen-To, but more liberal with the free features and coded from scratch by me. In other words, a system that displays online the music you listen to on your computer, but updated LIVE when you play a song. I got it operational, but the coding sucked, so I didn't finish it. Then I recoded it and I ran into a problem because my host has their PHP configured in a way where I couldn't store information in files. I was going to rewrite it to use PEAR, but my webhost sucks, so PEAR didn't work. So I finally made the fourth rewrite of this service, which I have dubbed PlayShare, and I must say, it blows everything else I've seen AWAY. Features: Works with Winamp through an existing plugin Ability to easily accomodate new players and plugins Ability to show artist, title, album, length, quality, path, filename, and date in both an image and a page (last 20 songs for a page and last 10 for an image, to keep database load down) Ability to customize text color, position, font, and background of an image FULLY PhpBB compatible. No gimmicky workarounds, the image works 'out of the box' so you can stick it in your sig. You can change your timezone and style of date when displaying dates in the page or image User-to-user messaging Ability to give others full access to your song history, so that other programmers can add functionality User-friendly control panel Ability to download database ...and did I mention all this will be FREE? It will (but I will probably have Google Ads and might have a pay service with more fonts and premade BGs, depending on licensing issues with the fonts). I finished all of the dirty work. All that remains is to make the control panel for users and admins, a user creation page, and to beta-test. My sig has been updated to use the new version. It should load faster than the old one, and if you click the extended info link, it will show you the whole shabang. Please post any feature requests you have for this service, or any comments. And I WILL finish it this time!
  11. Okay, which would be better, assuming AMD 64 3000+ and 512: ATI Radeon X600 XT 256MB PCI-E or ATI Radeon 9600XT All-in-wonder
  12. If I'm going to use it on an Athlon-64 3000+ 939-pin and 512 RAM, which would be better? An ATI Sapphire Radeon X300 PCIe 256MB or a Powercolor Radeon 9550 AGP 256MB? I want to play games like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and Half-Life 2, if that influences the decision. Help please, because I can't find any benchmarks to help me decide.
  13. I don't know. Probably "Nothing can stop us, we're on a mission from God" "I've always loved you." (part where two Nazis in the Pinto are falling) "If the sh*t fits, wear it." from the Blues Brothers. [rant] But at least nobody has mentioned "Life is like a box of chocolates" yet, from Forrest Gump. It was a good movie, but it seems that people will not stop at anything to quote it. I mean, it was even Forrest's mom that said it first in the movie, not Forrest, so I don't know why these morons keep incessantly babbling about how he said it and how it's the greatest principle ever. [/endrant]
  14. For a reasonable fee (in RS cash) I could write you one. It's very easy to do.
  15. **Before anybody starts to flame me, remember that the forums are only a small part of my life, so don't go flaming me with "!!!omfg u r so liek ronng 4nd 4r0wgint on t3h borzdoirz!" I try to stay realistic and think at a higher order than my peers, despite the fact that I am 13. I have a part-time job, set goals, etc. and don't think that the world revolves around MTV, clothers, friends, and that a year is a "long time." However, this often sets me apart from my peers and makes me feel like a loser, so I occasionally, depending on the situation, loosen up and act like what somebody my age would (but not to such an extent as to be a rambling idiot, like some people, or a snobby pseudo-prep). However, I've noticed that other people my age are very...stupid, and it makes me wonder where our society is going. For instance, today I was especially bored in Language Arts class, and I counted the amount of times a particular girl, whom I would file under "pseudo-prep-poseur", said the word "like," which is overused and utilized as a pause in speech. Statistics: 26 times in 50 seconds, and about once between every two words. I could have said the same thing in 15 seconds more concisely, and provided more information, but she had to say "like" and laugh needlessly about a not-funny topic. Or, these 12-year-olds that sit in the front of the bus: they are enormously popular with people like the aforementioned person, but are total idiots. They echo songs from cartoons, make monkey sounds, and berate others highly illogically, to the point of almost being autistic. And another girl they associate with is also a "pseudo-prep-poseur", and she does a combination scowl/sneer thing whenever she sees someone "off her social level" and says "Whatever, loser." These people are supposed to be the future leaders of the world, and yet they are acting like monkeybrained idiots. Don't get me wrong, I'm not stuck up, but these people are just stupid to the point of intense aggravation, and it makes my blood boil that they slip by with mediocre grades and not getting busted because the crusty old teachers are just too sympathetic, or have no idea what's going on. So yeah, I kind of agree, but remember, not all of us are total idiots.[/i]

  17. BUMP - Updated it with all the stuff people suggested. Very thorough now.
  18. I have tried AVG and the free Anti-Vir I recommended. Anti-Vir is better translated, faster, detected the trojan as well as Sub7 and Beast, and is more utilitarian, which is way more than I can say for AVG. Usually, trojaners hook victims for fun or to gain information, and don't use them as bots. Viruses are what run as bots, because they require no user intervention. I've never heard of someone spending lots of time gathering victims and using them to DoS a website. That's what viruses are for. And I DID mention other trojans, amoing which were Sub7 and NetDevil, both of which are insignificant compared to the shear power of this malicious application which I am explaining. Read before you speak.
  19. LIES! there's ways to get rid of it...it doesn't permanently change explorer.e3e (CAUTION - executable file) it just hijacks it's memory...you can usually find a .com or [Caution: ExecutableFile] file on your computer related to the trojan oh and you should also change every instance of "hacker" to "script kiddie" in your post Uh, no. It BINDS itself (read: permannently embeds) to explorer.exe . That is, it inserts its own binary code into the file. Unless you reinstall a backup of explorer or reinstall Windows, there's natta you can do about it. And by the way, this is not a post about political correctness. I realize that hackers are actually good people and crackers are an evil breed of hackers, but many people do not realize this and I must simply go with the most accepted terminology.
  20. After coding a bit, I fixed my random signature script so that it WORKS WITH THE FORUMS! IT DISPLAYS FILESIZE AND DIMENSIONS AND EVERYTHING! W00t! You can also use those .php signatures that you couldn't use before. Examples: This one is linked to http://vipersoftrunescape.com/wordsofwisdom/index.php: ...and it shows filesize and everything! Here's a random sig: It alternates between http://bttfman.com/mysigs/bttf.jpg Just go here and make your own: http://bttfman.com/sigs/random BTW to use a .php signature, just fill in the URL in the box with no semicolons, by itself, and use the new URL it gives you. Want a sig? You can also make one in < 5 minutes, at http://bttfman.com/sigs/dynasig/ Hope you all like, BTTF
  21. Thanks. :P Those are my first few bgs I made, definitely not my best work, lol. BTTF, I'll try to make you some better ones now that I have Photoshop. Thanks. Borders - Maybe, but I don't know. I suppose I could just make it have a 1px box border that's like 3 px in from the sides as one of the options...I'll look into it.
  22. Yes, Dynasig, the easiest sig maker this side of paint (Copyrighted phrase, but not really), returns, with more backgrounds (mostly due to Astralinre) and full forum compatibility! That's right, no rules broken, no need for the workaround! Anyway, if you haven't tried DynaSig before, it's a tool that lets you select a background, some text, text colors and positions to create an image, all in less than 5 minutes, GUARANTEED (only applies if used correctly and you don't goof off and you know what you want)! Try it here: http://bttfman.com/sigs/dynasig Please note that DynaSig is not intended to replace a competent graphic artist armed with Photoshop, but is meant to be used by users on a budget or those who are seeking a placeholder sig while they wait for a new one.

    How old are you?

13 on the 19th of August.
  24. Abortion, on a technical level, is murder. The baby is in a parasetic relationshop with the mother, feeding off its resources, making it alive. It consumes, therefore it is living. Killing a baby would be murder. Although, technically, parents are responsible for their child until they are 18. So, I believe that abortion should not be legal. If the baby was conceived thruogh rape or some other such misdoing (NOT premarital sex or doing it willingly), then the court should decide if it is okay to abort the baby or not.
