Well if someone thinks they are saying the truth, it will be an opinion, and no opinions are true or false? If someone, lets call him/her a scientist, says gravity exists, a force pulling all masses in the universe together, this would be close to the truth from our view as from what we can see it it is true, but as we havent seen all masses in the universe how can we know its true universally? So thats why i said "maybe". I think we can come close to the truth, and it does depends on what you're talking about but perhaps the truth is too complex for us to understand.

If truth is an opinion, no. If truth is a fact, maybe.

I dont think theorys can be proved, just be strengthened by data which matches to the theory. Gravity, or a force pulling us to the earth, or the earth to the sun, is true, and it exists because we feel it. But there are many other things such as the exchange particles or different magnitudes per mass unit which have been recorded.

So tell me, why is your religion right and everyone elses wrong? & you did seem to get angry when i said the bible was not fact

From what i know, believing what humans wrote form their experiences cannot be fact? (which is the bible) I know many a christian including a vicar who also says that the bible cannot be taken to be fact. Perhaps some christians (eg you) will get angry over this, perhaps its justified as you have believed it since birth and dont know any different. However, telling people your relgion is right, and their relgion is wrong, is one of the main causes of war in history. Perhaps me telling you that your holy book is wrong will cause you to start a war with me. But what will you fight against, my opinion? Since i dont believe in any "higher being" that controls us and which i must "dedicate" my life to.

Im saying they shouldnt be mixed. Youre telling billions of people their belief is wrong :? Plus, i cant remember saying relgions were wrong, thats what you were doing.

So then they are related! They are both mythical attempts to explain how we got here! It is if you do it in a peaceful way. Just the fact that neither are fact does not make them related. There is no peaceful way in telling someone is wrong, you thought i was wrong in just saying a broad comment on religion and you went very critical and "insulting".

I never said Science was fact. Also, telling 3/4 of the worlds population their way of life is wrong, isnt the way to go about peace.

Wasnt Jesus a Jew? And you're saying Jews are wrong too? Your views are the ones that start wars. The Bible is not fact, it was written by humans through word of mouth or other methods, it it not fact at all.

The relation between Religion and Science is a fact? Perhaps there are some relations, in my opinion they should not be mixed. So, all the 1000's of relgions are real and true and each has a god/multiple gods that exists somewhere? Or are you saying that Christianity is true and all the rest not, which, i dont know how to say it, sounds a bit wrong to me. How do you choose which religion, or were you just grown up in the christian family? Faith? Christianity is just about the resurrection of jesus and his sacrifice to humanity to save them all from going to hell and to give them a chance to get into heaven. So you live like Jesus to get into heaven? Dont insult my intelligence, its not needed.

An easy way to figure that out would be by looking at the word: Christianity. There's more to it, of course - but it pretty much centers around Jesus saving everyone from eternal damnation. Yea dont you take jesus as a role model and live your life around him? Which is a way to live, if im not mistaken... I never disagreed about "how to live" - I said it's not about "finding out about yourself." And still, living like Christ is a big part of Christianity - but it's not what it's about. Living like Christ is something that comes after you understand and accept the bigger concpepts - which not only have to do with God creating the laws of science but also have to do with salvation and such. Your definition of religion in comparison to science is just silly. Its not a definition its an opinion, which i said right at the start (In my opinion). You're saying your opinion, neither of us is right or wrong. You are living like Jesus from the moment you are born (as a christian, muslin, sikh, taking examples). Christians get baptised, Muslims get circumcised(sp?), Sikhs are not allowed to cut their hair and carry a dagger around with them. Religion was "thought up" (used loosely) in prehistoric times, Sun gods Rain gods, something to "keep them going" or acting as something giving them the will to live on, or perhaps a set of rules to precent collapse of civillisation. Religious people live their lives based around the role models of their religion, Jesus, Abraham (sp?) Mohammed (pbuh) and others. Most relgions have a holy book, or teachers, teaching them how to live their life in accordance to their religion. Through this, you find out about yourself, and how you fit in and you develop your own opinions and views. Im not up for being flamed or whatever, this is merely a discussion...

IMO relgion and science shouldnt be mixed. Relgion is finding out about yourself and learning a way to live. Science is about finding out about the universe in which we live.

Still, its a relatively unreliable source of evidence.

Wii doesnt have good games, are you having a laugh? It has some awesome games coming out on release, and to be released... The 360 has nice graphics, but wii is the way to go

Wikipidia can be editied by anyone, no information on it is certainly correct. Current theorys do not agree with some measurments taken from the solar system/universe, some to do with the expansion rate of the universe. Extra matter was predicted, but it cannot be seen, so the name Dark Matter was proposed. Particles such as the neutrino, WIMPS (weakly interacting massive particles) and some others have been looked at, but from what i know, noone has ever observed "Dark Matter" itself. Dark energy is also a theory under consideration. New scientist has some interesting articles on both topics.
