From what I've gathered, sometimes when leaving the cave, you will get lost on the way out, and come across a Phoenix Egg. You can kick it and get an angry baby phoenix, or clap and get a cute one. So it's pretty rare.

I think it is a mix of that and they may have become less rare. I had awhile where I was on the verge of not grabbing them. Now I haven't seen one in months. Fire giants, abbys, and some other monsters really seem to drop them a lot.

Is the 87 under the range a level? I need the NAME of the monster to go with the levels. You have a lot of drops there that I can't use becuase I don't know which monster to put them under. Kenneh's/k3nny12's post is exactly what I need. Greater or lesser, range, mage, warrior is clearly stated with the drop. Easy to add. If you know the levels of the monsters add that in too. After doing the In Pyre Need quest all the monsters in the caves will become attackable (and aggressive!). They are in multicombat area, and it seems you cannot always run through them. So you have to kill a few to get back to the phoenix. Once you have killed the phoenix you can't even enter the cave again until the next day. You need secateurs, a knife, and tinderbox to get back in the cave, and the priest will not give you these items again after the quest. I didn't know I wouldn't be able to enter the cave, so I can't get any more drops until tomorrow :( Also need the levels I have as ?'s, and confirmation the names are right. newb 99 = oxymoron. if you have 99 firemaking, or any 99 for that matter, you are not a newb. Noob, maybe. But not because you are wearing a fm, cooking, or fletching cape. If you think they are easy 99's, firstly, you better have that skill at 99. You should at least have one skill at 99 before you can even talk about 99s being nooby. 13m xp is a lot of xp. It still requires work, and money to get the xp. If you don't think the 99 in that skill is worthy, don't wear the cape, don't even buy it. If you don't have these "newby" skill at 99, what are you?

No idea why I like these guys, I used to train all the time there. *Greater Demons. Wild dogs are annoying. One more level and they don't bug me anymore. *Fire Giants. 'Bout same as Greaters. I bought bandos chest and tassets a while ago, 14m for both I think it was. Raised my max hit by 1, I was a little disappointed until i remembered I got more defense with that higher hit. Looks pretty sweet too. :thumbup: Serious duelers (if there are any left?) might use the new max hit stuff. Doubtful they would want it to just show off..

You give CW your 50m worth of barrage runes xp back too? I got the red and blue armor then quit. I want the better armor but I'm really not very good at the game. I tried finding a good team to try and help get some tickets, but failed :(

In my experiences older people are better in the game, they manage money and time better :P I must not be old enough for that yet though.. :wall:

Id use another character that I already have, not from scratch. I don't think I would last long though. Quests were too frustrating for me.

Where is the issue? We get a Santa suit.. It will (hopefully) go perfectly with a santa hat. Which will sky rocket in price just like the current seasonal rare always does. If you don't have a santa hat, you get a santa suit. Stinks for you if you want to dress like santa, but still, not a big issue.

Lucky is getting a rare drop. (visage, dchain, dclaws, ect...) Me burning thousands and thousand of logs to get 99 fm isnt luck, killing tons of monsters for 99 attack isnt luck, pwning enough slayer monsters to get 85 slayer isnt luck..it bugs the hell out of me :( Also, omg pmod, LUCKY! no. :wall:

One of the easy tasks (E8) says "Net/harpoon/cage" for Other Requirements. You are supposed to catch the fish with your hand. (In game easy task list says nothing about hand catching it either). This would also mean you need to complete the fishing portion of barb training, and at least 55 fishing and 35 strength to catch a tuna with your hand.
