  1. He's an alcoholic has no place to go is unemployed and cannot find work. Nobody else in my family will let him stay with them cause of his alcoholism. We let him stay with us in January and he's done nothing to clean himself up, he's in fact collected unemployment gave my mother $300 bucks for rent for that month and continued to drink (I've found bottles I've seen him drinking out of outside our house next to our steps). He hasn't gone to any AA Meetings or anything and got a big pay check I forgot where from. Was supposed to get an apartment for a few months and clean himself up but he didn't. Instead he moved in with some woman down the block from us and is paying her rent to stay with her. He's now frustrated with his situation there and wants to move back in with us. My parents won't let him back in with us cause of his problems and him not doing anything about them to better himself. He's outside now ringing our doorbell but we aren't answering..
  2. If you use Facebook, please be warned and watch this. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/200 ... k.worm.cnn Here is a bit more information. http://www.computerworld.com/action/art ... src=kc_top A worm that hit Facebook last December has resurfaced, a security researcher said today, and is now hijacking user accounts -- not only for that social networking service, but also for MySpace, Friendster, LiveJournal and others. The Koobface worm is again making the rounds on Facebook, said Jamz Yaneza, a research project manager at Trend Micro Inc. "But this is an improved version with some interesting functions," he said. Like the variant that hit Facebook late last year, the newest Koobface tries to dupe users into clicking on a link that's included in a message from a friend. Clicking on the link displays a fake error message claiming that Adobe System Inc.'s Flash is out of date, and prompts the user to download an update. The update is nothing of the sort, but is instead an executable file that installs the Koobface worm. "Koobface.az," as Trend Micro pegged the worm, rifles through a compromised PC, sniffs out browser cookies associated with 10 different social networking sites, uses the usernames and passwords within those cookies to log on to each service, searches for the infected user's friends and then sends those people messages that include a link to the worm. It looks for cookies connected to bebo.com, Facebook, Friendster, fubar.com, hi5.com, LiveJournal, MySpace, myYearbook, Netlog and Tagged. Much of the message processing takes place on a remote server, which the hackers control, said Yaneza. That server communicates with each infected PC, receiving data and sending instructions. "This is pretty serious stuff," he said. Trend Micro has identified more than 300 IP addresses hosting the worm, and although some have been blocked, others are still online. Those addresses are located in Asia, Yaneza said. "This is maybe only in its early stages," he added, referring to the small but growing number of infections. "I'd call it fairly active at the moment." Koobface.az isn't the only piece of malware to have struck Facebook recently. Trend Micro, as well as other security vendors, has noted a pair of scams in the past week that targeted users of the popular service. The most recent sent messages to users claiming that friends had turned them in for violating Facebook's terms of service; when people clicked on the included link, they downloaded an application that spammed all friends with a similar message and may have harvested information from each Facebook account as it did so. "I don't think this is a coincidence," said Yaneza, speaking of Koobface coming hard on the heels of other attacks against Facebook users. "[Cybercriminals] are looking at how these services are being used, and more importantly, their sizes," he said. "Users need to be very, very careful about what they install when they're on these [social networking] services," Yaneza advised. "And they should be careful about how they use social networks and what information they put on them. The criminals are gleaning all the information they can and using it against you."

This cologne is really good for men. I've gotten plenty of compliments of how good I smell when I wear it almost all the time. Hell the woman at CVS who was ringing up my items said to me "wow you smell really nice" I said heh, thanks. She then said .."damn you smell really good!" lol..So I bagged her number and we are good friends ;) It's called Curve for men. http://www.redlinecosmetics.com/pro_658 ... .2_oz.html
  6. I read the quest dialogue to see how the storyline plays out that's about it.
  7. I'll leave that for a tip.it mod or if Jagex updates it to decide. I'm not too great with computers and am not in position to decide where those cards stand.
  8. Rimmington would practically have a bank if the Soul Wars portal was placed there.
  9. Okay, I just got a new computer and downloaded the most recent version of Java onto my PC so I can play RuneScape and I am experiencing lag issues already. I will list my specs below of the computer and before anyone responds read fully first. 1) It's not my computer, the computer is brand new and more than meets the requirements for RuneScape HD. 2) It's not a spyware/malware/virus issue I ran a scan before I posted this topic, it came up clean. 3) It's not a speed issue with my internet (Taken 2 minutes ago) my speed is. The Problem: Every about 15-20 minutes I will get a small lag [bleep]e which stops what I'm doing for 2-3 seconds then resumes. I don't lag out of the game where I have to re-log in, I remain logged in while I get this lag. My Specs: Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit. Processor: AMD Phenom 9150e Quad-Core Processor @ 1.80Ghz. Memory: 4.00GB RAM. Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics 256MB of Shared Video Memory.
  10. I *think* this is for RuneScape HD. Here below is a Quick Find Code to the topic on RuneScape Official Forums. I also wasn't sure what section of the Forum to put this in either so I put it here. If a Mod thinks or knows this is in the wrong Forum and wishes to move it, feel free. I just thought this may be something good for Tip.It to be able to use on it's site. Taken from the topic below. 11. I probably got the title wrong, I'll have to rephrase it I don't necessarily hate them I just don't feel a family type of bond with them is all. I'm 26 and how am I selfish for not wanting to visit family? I don't see a point in visiting them if I honestly do not feel connection with them. Exactly, there isn't anything for me to do over there except sit & watch tv then get up to eat dinner and have cake. I can be rude and selfish but in this case I'm not. I haven't seen my family in 12 years cause as I said I don't feel close to them and I don't feel there's a family like bond with them.
  12. Today is my cousin Andrew's 9th birthday his family are throwing a party for him and most of my moms side of the family is going to be there. I however will not, I don't like my moms side of the family, don't really ever think I will. I just never felt a family like bond with them after hanging out with them at other kids birthday parties or family outings. Today my aunt calls me up and asks why I didn't come to her sons birthday and she knows damn well I don't like them (not just her everyone on my moms side except for my grandmother and my cousin and his mom & dad). I told her as usual "I don't feel like it", apparently it's not a good enough answer for her and she is supposedly on her way out to my house to talk with me cause she thinks I'm sick in the head. I haven't seen anyone in my moms family aside from my grandmother & cousin & his parents for about 12 years now and I really don't plan on changing that any time soon. So, do you sometimes have family members you dislike? Or some even you feel you don't have a family bond with?
  13. That is absolutely disgusting if you ask me. Although it doesn't surprise me to see a child so young with a baby of his own.
  14. Wow it is really sad that the fires in Australia spread that rapidly and destroyed so many homes and killed so many many people. I read on CNN today that they caught the guy in connection to it. I have no sympathy or remorse for that son of a [bleep], I hope they make him take a nice bath in some oil and light him ablaze until he is turned to dust.
  15. Or keep it if you already have it and are considering using it :D
  16. This doesn't happen to me though what I get is the occasional idiot that will PM me saying hi and when I ask how they got my runescape name their response is similar to "you dont remember me? we been friends a long time" I just tell them to remove me and if they talk again afterwards I ignore them.
  17. I found the new mini game to be quite boring in only the second game I played. I agree with the above poster, I think it needs something similar to Stealing Creation to keep teams fair. I also think the way Zeal is earned needs to be different cause I think the way it currently works is 1 kill of the boss = 1 zeal.
  18. Well it is nice to hear from a CEO up at Jagex glad they are doing some big fixes. No more f2p video adverts - Don't really care for this I'm not f2p and it won't have any effect on me. No more Behind the Scenes - I kind of don't like the removal of Behind the Scenes although the Development Diaries should be a fun replacement. More Development Diaries - These should be fun, I'd like to see how close a few projects are to completion. f2p isn't a demo - First I'd just like to say, lol f2p. Now of course f2p is still a demo don't be silly :). f2p will be improved - Let them get their crappy little "improvements", as long as I am a member it's nothing near as close as to the content I get. RuneScape isn't aimed at kids - About god damn time this crap has been cleared up. Kid focused Content being removed - Good get rid of all the childish crap, this game isn't for 5 year olds. Community events, tournaments, and Jmods in-game - This could actually be VERY FUN! Cannot wait for these and hope a majority, if not all of them are p2p. Thread where you can ask the CEO of Jagex questions - I'm not wasting my time putting a question up in between about a few hundred other questions cause it'd be a waste of my time and probably won't even be answered.
  19. What brand computer is it? Have you tried calling your tech support if it's still available? Maybe they can help you out? You can also try asking around in this guy's chat his name is Chris Pirillo he's a techie/nerd/geek. He streams live video and has a chatroom with normally 400-500 people in it daily they are all geeks they may be able to help you out. http://chris.pirillo.com/live/
  20. Sorry but I'm on a $900 budget trying to stay within it.
  21. Hello everyone, I'm going to be purchasing a new PC soon in about a week or two tax returns. Anyhow I am stuck deciding between these two computers below. I am slightly leaning towards the Gateway FX, I've called them to ask in about what it means as a refurbished PC. I was told it might have been used as a demo or it was shipped out and returned to the manufacturer (Gateway) and they reconstructed it like new for resale. 22. Those are some nice statistics, hopefully Jagex can keep it up. and LOL f2p
  23. Well February looks decent, better than January. Soul Wars 6/10 - Sounds good like a fun mini game, but will it live up to expectations? Who knows. Random Events 9/10 - AWESOME! This update was needed VERY VERY long ago! I love the fact that we get to choose from a variety of rewards. Also love the changes being made to notice how often we get them that way we don't get the same one repeatedly. Kind of sad though that they are retiring the Drunken Dwarf :(. Price Check 10/10 - Great Update, I am looking forward to this hopefully it will slow down the amount of newbs asking for price checks. Quest List Interface 1/10 - Boring, filler update blah blah blah. Evil Tree 6/10 - Sounds a little fun, but to be realistic it's just another event that will become a "chore" in RuneScape.
  24. I would read the Tip.It Times but they are released too often :(
  25. I spied my penguins this week, caught 10 and traded in my 15 points I got for them as usual. I am not banned from the game.
