I've built 5 computers and none of them have had any issues (youngest one is around a year old. I built them for friends/self/gf) Yeah, you can throw together a "high end" computer for $500 and use poorly made chineese knockoff parts that will fail in a year, or shop around for the best parts, and build a high end machine for half that of an alienware.

THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS...

You realize that if you buy the right parts, you can build a very powerful desktop for a fraction of the cost for an alienware...Plus, Dell used very sub par parts

To be honest, I didn't see any similarity in the maps until I saw both maps.

There should never be untradable weapons that require a quest that requires X stat, but the weapon has a requirement of X-Y.. Unless, the weapon is tradable, and usable by those who did not do the quest, in which case, the weapon only has value if it useful compared to other things. Look at the rune halbred, back a bit before EOC.. It was one of the only melee weapons that could attack at range. All you needed was 40 attack to wear it. But, in order to obtain it, you needed to have done Regicide which at the time, was quite hard. However, those who did the quest could buy it, and use it, but could also re-sell it for nearly 100% profit to those who could not do the quest. Rune hallys would not have been nearly as useful if you required not only Regicide to use it, but if it were untradable as well.

Pop defenders up to t80 or 85, give them damage equal to half that of a regular off hand of their tier, and allow them to use duel wield and shield abilities. Ba da boom, useful

Yes, that would be interesting. Dual weild has that ability, for ancients.. Smoke and shadow for a 5% attack and strength debuff, can be done quite easy by just doing a few autoattacks. With a staff, though, if you can't do two spells, perhaps let the first spell be twice as effective with the effect

I would like 2h weapons, over dual wield, personally. Half the cost, half the upkeep, also big.

If you are attacking with melee, you HAVE to wear a melee legs, a melee plate, and either another melee offhand weapon or a melee shield, otherwise your damage and accuracy is going to be down something like 50% You can wear ANY helm, gloves, boots, cape, or ammy. They do not effect accuracy or damage when doing hybrid combat, with the exception of power armor. Power armor only provides a damage boost if you are using the correct combat style. Wearing bandos gloves and boots while ranging is effectivly the same as wearing dragon gloves and boots. tl;dr, wear your tetsu plate and legs, and gloves/boots depending on the type of damage your target is doing. If you are fighting melee mobs, wear gano gloves/boots for hp and def. If you fight range mobs, wear melee gloves/boots, and range gloves/boots for mage mobs.

Shieldbows can use the dazing shot and incendiary shot. They are 2h weapons, but count as 1h damage, and can use both 2h and shield abilities. Regardless, I would like to see a 2h melee weapon, staff, and a shortbow and shieldbow from this boss..

The way I see it, range will need a shortbow, a 2h crossbow, and a shield bow to be equal.. Mage just needs a staff The t90 2h weapons should come in slash, stab, and crush variants.

Yeah i was originally thinking about something like the drygore mace crafted to hinge the drygore long. I wanted to make a scythe weapon i mentioned earlier. How does that make the range and mage more powerful? Stats havent been plugged in yet. Well, the melee weapon would need a chaotic which costs little gp, but time, while the mage/range you mentioned require fairly rare drops from a fairly rare boss.

That makes the melee weapon dirt cheap in comparison to the mage and range ones.

The spider boss is going to drop t90 2hs... or something. We don't know if it is going to drop the weapons, or the stuff to make it, ect.. But, I think it should drop the 2hs or stuff to make it, as well as something to modify barrows weapons with. Maybe make the items for that rare or untradable, so that you'd have to be good at the boss to get the t90 barrows weapons, because they would be working with the barrows sets.

Body, legs, an shield slot only effect your accuracy and damage. If you want to melee, use melee weapons and a tetsu plate and legs. If the monster you are fighting attacks with magic, you can wear a range helm, gloves, and boots, and that will not impact your melee accuracy or damage.

Taking away the requirement for two people like that would just be bad. If it were a quest reward, finding another way inside, like in blood runs deep :-! That would make sense... until they took away that part and made it instanced.

I hope, just hope, that the "pvm portal" requires you to feed it money in order to use it. No "set it and exploit it" like poh portals. 10m to put it pointing at gwd, 1m every other day to use it.
