  4. You dont need upgrade, just see if your DirectX is compatible, but Knives669 can use it because its AGP, and her Motherboard only supports PCI: BFG GeForce FX 5500 256Mb Interface Type: Plug-in Card, AGP 2x, AGP 4x ~komodo Then find a 5500 thats PCI, because there are some. Great Idea :D ~komodo

  8. This one supports DirectX 9.0: Microsoft̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâî DirectX 9.0 Optimizations and Support Ensures the best performance and application compatibility for all DirectX 9 applications. So between this new and the old one you posted, better this new! :D ~komodo

  10. One thing... I have a Dell, and it sucks, I upgraded my HD from 30Gb to 80Gb, I took long to discover it was IDE.... ̢̮â¬Å¡ÃâìÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâì Dell werent made to be upgraded... :( I do think the only problem with this Video card is: Full support for DirectX 8.1 programmable pixel and vertex shaders in hardware You need DirectX 9.0 to play oblivion, so I'm not sure if tis card supports it... Someone correct me if I'm wrong :D ~komodo

  15. I dont know if she will buy a new Motherboard just to play Oblivion... AGP Why cant she play in a PCI card? Buying a new motherboard causes you to buy all those things else... such a "pocket pain"...ouch! :? But if theres no option left... :( I know that PCI and PCI-e are two different things, I posted the Video cards befor knowing the motherboard... I have a Dell 4500S... OLLLD! Day after day when I try to upgrade it I fail to find somthing, the was made to be untouched... now I gotta change my whole computer, But I doubt any Dell Technical Support Assitance will make an upgrade... :? Yeah, offcoure I might be wrong... Now theres only 5 options left: 1- Change your motherboard and your video card 2- Buy a PCI video card 3- Buy another card and ask for techincal Dell Assistance 4- Call Dell and ask if its possible to send someone to upgrade your video. 5- Try to play in your actual video card (This might not be the best thing to do...)

  21. You have a Dell̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¾Ãââ Dimension̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¾Ãââ 3000 right?(or something near it :? ), if I am, your Video card supports PCI, not PCI-E. If I'm not, so I'll have to search better :D, but I'm almost sure! Heres a pic of your motherboard: Someone correct me if I'm wrong about PCI, PCI-E. ~komodo
  22. ^_^ I'm glad I posted something usefull, haha :D How much you buying it? You find it here for USD 129,00 US Dollars Sapphire Video Card Or here for AUSD 215,00 Australian Dollars Sapphire Video Card :D I forgot the motherboard info... lol Easy... how old is your computer? ~komodo
  23. Well its really nicce, better then mine :D The only thing you got to worry is your Video Card... I've edited my other post with some Video Cards, I expect some expert see it so you will get a better feedback :D ~komodo
  24. Your card is 64Mb, its not recomended to play with this one because its going to lag.. because they recomend 128Mb. My computer has the same card and I Play AeO2, Diablo LOD, Silkroad, Need For Speed Underground 2, but sometimes lagging... In my opinion you should get a new card, because I'm prety sure its going to lag in minimum! :( Post your computer specs to have sure that the only thing that worries you is your Video Card. I can't help more for now, I can search for you a nice video card :D The last 2 are 512Mb, I dont think you will need that much, and they're more expensive too, the last one is the best bennefit/cost for 512Mb, it costs as a 256Mb... ->eVGA e-GeForce 6800 XT Video Card (256MB, PCI Express x16, DVI) Video Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 XT Core Clock Speed: 325 MHz RAMDAC Speed: 400 MHz Installed Video Memory: 256 MB Memory Technology: DDR-SDRAM (DDRRAM) Effective Memory Clock Speed: 600 MHz ->Asus Extreme AX1600PRO/TD Radeon X1600 Pro Video Card (256MB, PCI Express x16, DVI) Video Chipset: ATI RADEON X1600 Pro Core Clock Speed: 500 MHz RAMDAC Speed: 400 MHz Installed Video Memory: 256 MB Memory Technology: DDR2 Effective Memory Clock Speed: 780 MHz ->ATI Radeon X1300 Video Card (256MB, PCI Express x16) Video Chipset: ATI RADEON X1300 RAMDAC Speed: 400 Hz Installed Video Memory: 256 MB Memory Technology: DDR2 ->Sapphire Radeon X1600 Pro Video Card (512MB, PCI Express x16, DVI) ideo Chipset: ATI RADEON X1600 Pro Core Clock Speed: 500 MHz RAMDAC Speed: 400 MHz Installed Video Memory: 512 MB Memory Technology: DDR2 -> eVGA 256-P2-N391-AX Geforce 6800GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card Chipset Manufacturer: NVIDIA GPU: Geforce 6800GS Core clock: 490MHz Memory Clock: 1100MHz Memory Size: 256MB Memory Interface: 256-bit Memory Type: GDDR3 Effective Memory Clock Speed: 780 MHz But as I said, post the rest of your computer to see if you have something more to worry *hopes not* ~komodo
