I'm not going to lie, I pirated it 3 months ago and have no intention of buying it. I'd like to say its because I'm a poor college student but in reality its just cause I'm a cheap * and I pirate everything :oops: . If anyone cares I did buy the first two seasons on dvd though... anyway, I have to say I loved the movie although the ending got a little slow. Personally, I don't believe in a god, although I've never really thought about it. I also think everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the matter. The only problem I have is when a person beleives one thing and says that everyone else should live that way too. Religion should be personal and shouldn't carry over into other people.

I think the best part of the new SAT test is that I NEVER HAVE TO TAKE THEM AGAIN!!! 8) seriously though, I'm glad that they revised it. Escpecially the math section because it was mostly just memorization to get good scores not actual aptitude. And it makes lots of sense to put writing in there as well. As Mad said, it does favor verbal more than math, but if you think about it, very few jobs don't require any writing. And many of the math and science technical jobs require very good writing skills, so a score that shows that aspect of your ability is very useful.

Anyone else seen the Family Guy Movie: Stewie's great adventure? Its not out yet so techinically no should have,. but anyway its even better than most of the episodes :P my favorite quote has to be Quagmire's "I've never done it with a Spanish chick. He He. Ole" :lol:

I just got that exact same ram 2 weeks ago :D Its very nice ram and quite cheap for 1 gig course I also got a new mobo with a CMOS checksum error :evil:

I'll be going to U of C Boulder in a few weeks for open engineering. ( I think I'll be doing aerospace engineering but I'm giving myself some options) Finally getting the hell out of New England 8)

I'd become part of the Harry Potter world in a heartbeat. Not even that long. I'd love magic. I mean school has a purpose here, but it's so different in that world. Everything you learn can be used in the real world. Not to mention you will be able to defend yourself. Plus, there's no talk of aids or cancer in their world. No std's either :wink: :D And no one has lauged at my lotr joke still :( (couple pages back) I laughed at it but didn't feel compelled to say anything untill you dropped 2 hints on this page :D and think of all the stupid * you could do and just instantly heal yourself. I'd definitly take up base jumping 8)

Ah man that is just wrong :lol: Anyway, some of the dumbest injuries I've ever gotten probably come from pole-vaulting. My highschool never really had a good coach until my senior year, so my friend and I would just try [cabbage] and watch the good guys from other schools :D anyway screwing up a jump is probably the singlemost scary and exhilarating experience ever. One of my best was where I didn't get quite enough speed down the runway and got to the peak of my 13 foot jump, and then came straight back down onto the track :lol: sprained an ankle on that one 8) on a side note I sprained the other ankle 1 week later when i landed funny on the mat and my mate did a couple days after that :lol: The trainer loved us and our various bizarre injuries :)

hmm I'm glad you noticed this too. The first books were full of stuff happening whereas the whole middle section of this book was kinda boring. There was too much obsessing about Malfoy and not much else. Even quidditch was boring (I still think Harry should have gone ape* on that dude :D ). When it finally got to the end it just jumps out at us. There is no leading up to it, just a bunch of background knowledge and then, Wham! Dumbledoor's dead. I was like Wha..? It also seems like she left us hanging at the end. All the rest have a sort of temporrary conclusion whereas this one just ends. I hope the 7th comes out in under 2 years but I don't have high hopes. I guess it comes down to one simple question: What exactly did Harry do during the book? Answer: not much. Aside from the brief fracas at the end, Harry did nothing. How depressing :?

Ya Sirius was my favorite... He died in the 5th one Dumbledore was my second favorite... He dies in the 6th one.. I think J.K. Rowling hates me. Hope it isn't Lupin next Man I have to agree with you guys. I need to go play a violent game to get the depressedness out of my system :evil: on a side note, does anyone else realize that she just destroyed teh entire structure of the series? I mean it was always one year at Hogwarts for one book. The next one (AND IT HAD BETTER COME OUT SOON) could be over the course of many years, although she'll probably try and put Harry back in Hogwarts for some strange reason.

How often are they updating GW? I know they have fairly regular patches for WOW that include large amounts of new content. Does GW do similar updates? Also, I don't think this has been answered yet (sorry if it has), but what do you get for killing another player in GW. Is there something similar to WOW honor system?

I guess I just got bored with runescape which is not entirely surprising since I've played it for around 4 years now. Eventually I realized that all I really liked about the game was pking and thats a lot of fun. Despite that it just got old, I made a pure ranger soon after rs2 came out and made a lot of cash on him, but he's since been eclipsed by the thousands of other lvl 60 pure rangers exactly like him. Thats a pretty good idea to just get GW first and I may do that, depending on what I end up getting for my new comp.

thanks for the responses all. This is helping a lot I guess I'm not really worried about the grinding part because it is the essence of rpg's anyway and that way I can really decide on my character type. Its a pity neither game has a winner take all style of fighting but I've only ever seen it in runescape so it may be unique to rs. In GW do you get anything for killing a player? I know in WOW you get honor which will go to weapons and armor, but is there any similar tangible benefit in GW.

I'm pretty much done with runescape and I've been looking for another mmorpg to play. I've heard a lot about WOW and I was just going to play that but recently I've been looking at Guild Wars which also looks cool. I'm really looking for a game that features great pvp much like the runescape winner take all feature. Aparrently WOW doesn't give you anything material other than honor of you kill anyone but whatever. Could I get a sort of list of pros and cons (or whatever youw ant to put in) either game with an emphasis on pvp? I really don't care for PvE that much.

That movie had a lot of good scenes in it. Anyway I think we are all overlooking the best part. In the first Jurassic Park the guy that gets eaten off the toilet? I laugh every time. How dramatic :P
