No way to solo the kq anymore. I hear there's a big badass monster deep in the wild you can get it off of. A lvl 305 monster. One that can teleport your wagon wherever it wants. Can take off your armor and weapons and leaving you kicking and punching the air. So, how can this lvl 112 solo it enough times to land up the newest weapon in the game? Let's find out. Now, before you start drooling "AMAGAWD DRAGON 2H LOLZZZZ", here's what you need to have to make it even remotely useful to try. Balls of steel 86 mage 70 range 40 prayer 80 hp (if you happen to be setting up the cannon while you're being attacked, you can take 60 damage without being able to eat) The 86 mage is for Annakarl Teleport, to the greater demon area. You'll need a magic pot if your magic is 86. Mine is 87, so I use a Mind Bomb. It's cheaper. Here's what your inventory should look like. You can substitute prayer pots for the super restores, I just happen to have more super restores, so I use those. The first is your gear. A helmet is optional, I prefer not to be wearing an archer's helmet if I'm holding a dagger. I've considered bringing a bow and arrows to up my range attack, I prefer the dagger personally to ward off some people that like to crowd me or if I get a rogue on me every once in a while. The second is your initial inventory. You will only need to bring the cannon once, unless it decays. You'll have ample time if you keep a move on. The third is your inventory after you have set up the cannon. Where do you set up the cannon? You can set it up first if you'd like. It doesn't make much of a difference, though I usually set it up right away, I end up taking less damage. The edge of the fence is the key. If you move two squares directly south of the spear wall's end, youll have ample room for your cannon. It should be three squares south and 1 square west from where I'm standing in the picture. The squares highlited in blue are ones that are safe when the Chaos Elemental is in the area I've circled in green. To get the chaos elemental where you want him is the trick. He will usually be in the area I've taken on the map, so here's what you do. Go as far west as necessary to make sure he won't get stuck in the trees at the rogue castle wall, then pull him south just far enough to get stuck in the area I've circled. Then run towards the safe squares (through his teleports, just make sure you make it there) and set the cannon to fire as you go through. I've found protect from range and protect from mage to be equally effective. I protect from range when I'm going to put more ammo in, since i'm in dragonhide and have the mage defense bonus. Try to keep the cannon from depleting its ammo, since it takes two clicks rather than one if you have an empty cannon, one to reload, one to fire. Range potting once you're in the safe squares is a good idea, you'll hit more. Lots of the kills are crap, get used to it. And eventually Some problems: 1. The chaos elemental is IN the rogues area! HELP ITS KILLING ME!!! There is a hut on the west end of the castle area. Put your cannon as close to the hut as you can, then run in and close the door. Open the door, run out, reload, run in, close the door, and continue to slay it until it's done. 2. The chaos elemental went around the trees now its coming at the entrance to the castle! Get the wall between you and the CE. There is a good chance your cannon will be able to fire at it twice per round in this location. The bad news is your cannon depletes twice as fast and you'll be making trips quicker. Yeah. So... if you copy this at least give me credit. <_<

  3. Pretty much a "feel good" article with no substance whatsoever.
  4. Chaos elemental also drops rune square shield.
  5. and the frog that says kiss me baby one more time
  6. ?ou think this picture is a real life picture?
  7. The amount of light being introduced into the scene is inconsistent with a setting sun. Use ANY rendering program and you'll come to the same conclusion.
  8. Come on RS is a fantasy world, who says the sun can't rise in the west in a fantasy world. But I must say hats off to the artist, I'm short for words to describe how beautifull this is. *takes off his hat* I think if you dug around in their letters they said it rose in the east. I don't have the inclination to do that at the moment, though.
  9. From the postbag pictures. Labeled by yours truly. And... that looks to me like the sun is rising on the west side of runescape, how odd. (The sextant says its west over there...)
  10. O Birdz a Zany en pc= capn izzy no beard. 33 trees and a new clue scroll pic
  11. No, it's just a preference of mine that I tell him I have been doing more than shearing sheep.
  12. Boxes and Othello are the new games bumping this to keep it hot
  13. I was on as soon as the update went live... and I knew nothing about the six brothers, I just went and killed till i found the passage, then went for the middle. But man that chest was pimp that day. Dmeds, half keys, all kinds of barrows items...
  14. Well, the behind the scenes comes out monthly. It's not really a schedule per se, but if you read them they often say what's coming out early in the month, and what's coming up later on in the month. So they do kind of give blocks of time for each update. Note I'm not saying that players are owed anything, it's just less hassle to keep doing something that works.
  15. Dude come on, give Jagex a little respect, your obviously RS2 material...if your not (which i doubt greatly) then think back to the years 2002/2003. We were lucky to get an update per month, let alone per week. Yeah on some occasions they released 2/3 quests within one update...but nothing on the scale we get now. I, on the other hand am definitely not RS2 material. RS Classic was a beast when it came to trying to add new things. Staff flat out said straight away to expect lots more updates when RS2 was released as the code was much easier to expand and use. Take into account that the number of programmers on staff has tripled since then, and the programmers will naturally become more effecient and able to produce more as their experience with RuneScript (check out the industry article for more on that) increases, following a weekly schedule of introducing just one monster/quest/new item would be a rather simple task. If my local pizzeria answered the phone and I was told consistently to expect my delivery in 20 minutes, so I eventually stopped asking, and every now and then it would take 40, I'm sure the delivery person would at least apologize when that happened from time to time. It's a business, and it operates by the rules of business, don't give your customers bad surprises and you keep happy customers.
  16. I got a Karil's xbow on my 4th trip on the first day. First person to get one :D
  17. Some don't have asides. The Underground Pass, Tree Gnome Village, and a number of others do not.
  18. They do it so people don't look him up on HS, find out that he's still there and start posting "zOMG hes still on hiskores he faked his death!1111". It's the smartest thing they can do.
  19. So I've been going to Juna occasionally to pick up some farming xp, and I'd been used to him telling me that my stories were entertaining, and that he'd let me in the tear chamber for a while. Usually, I like to talk to him multiple times until I find a noteworthy quest to talk about. This is where I discovered something I hadn't noticed before. My character had done the "The Golem Quest" and was relating to Juna that he had to reprogram the golem before it would work properly. Juna replied to this, "I remember well the battle of Uzer." I didn't know Juna had asides, so I went through a few more quests to see what he might say. 1. A bit of thanks for the Nature Spirit quest. 2. After talking about "The Giant Dwarf" 3. Some shakespearean humor about the Romeo and Juliet quest. There are a few others, for sheep shearer, Imp Catcher, Zogre Flesh Eaters, and ones I haven't talked about yet. But yeah, that was neat.
  20. It's always sad to see a fellow player pass away, in such a tragic manner as this. He will be missed.
  21. Like what???? lmao ;) Your chances of getting emphesyma. Oh, there'll be glasses (check out Frenita in yanille on the close up convo pics). My money is also on cowboy hats. Hopefully the stuff will be more lvl 3 clues than 2 or 1. I'd rather stuff I am actually compelled to wear.
  22. Word to the new treasure trail items.
  23. Yeah, I'm seeing if we can pack the games room.
