Why live and suffer when we are going to die anyways..
no pic no proof Proof Dead messiahs do not prove that he'll meet Jesus when he dies nor does it prove that there's a place after we die. Sorry, try again. My wit > yours Have you ever met someone or of someone who was in love? Can you prove that love exists? Of course not. So I guess everyone who has ever claimed to be in love has been lying, afterall, they don't have proof. What about happiness? Or anger? Sure...you can see the brain activity when these emotions are stimulated, but can you really prove that the emotion exists? Certainly not. So why ever believe that emotions do exist? There is no proof to back up the idea of "emotions" or "feelings." Yet you accept them. Some people say the same thing about God and their religion as you might say about love. There is no way to prove love, in the same way the people will say there is no way to prove what they feel about their religion. They just know its right. Who are you to argue with someone's feelings? I don't want to be on the prosecution counsel in a case: "God told me to kill those 15 people... I felt it, and there's no way to prove me wrong." I think the answer to your question "Who are you to argue with someone's feelings?" is this- a sensible human being.

Is there evil?
Morality determines good and evil, moral and immoral. Ethics is more simple, determines what is ethical and what is unethical. Now these paths cross occasionally, oftentimes your moral system will dictate what ethical systems you can follow (in other words a devout Buddhist is unlikely to adopt Machivellianism). The converse is not usually true- usually the adoption of an ethical system will prevent the person from taking any preset moral systems. Which brings us back to the question- is there such thing as evil? Well, that depends. If there is a universal moral code, then yes, there is. If not, then no, there is not 'evil' as you might percieve it. However, just because there is (in that case) no universal moral system does not mean that there should not be laws and regulations. We can still set those up on ethical systems and base them as well on convenience... it is inconvient if you were to go out and shoot sixteen people. It becomes easier to point fingers at those who commit actions that are considered unethical in numerous ethical systems (murder, rape, and other maladjusted actions come to mind...). Evil is still a stretch as there are as many ethical systems in the world as there are people. So if you ask me, is there evil? I must hesitate before saying yes, but I do say "yes". I believe as creatures we are eventually going to force ourselves into principles of utilitarianism, and eventually adopt it as a substitute for a universal moral code. In other words, what does more harm than good is "evil", or "bad" and what does more good than harm is just the opposite. I am aware that utilitarianism is an imperfect system, but in my eyes, it's the most effective one we've got.

One Hit Wonders
Notes: Look up Eiffel 65- Move Your Body Deep Blue Something also reched chart status with another single off "Home" called "Red Lights". Dishwalla followed up their "Pet Your Friends(?)" album with another, which had a hit of "Somewhere In the Middle", Semisonic got the song "Chemistry" on the airwaves, and fastball has produced two more albums, "The Harsh Light of Day", from which came "You're an Ocean" and one more recent album I'm not sure of the name of. Off the Fastball cd "All the Pain Money Can Buy", Fire Escape was an hit on the alternative airwaves, "Out of My Head" was another hit on the pop charts. As for my "One Hit Wonders", Duncan Sheik's "Barely Breathing" goes high on the list (though he did release "On a High"), The Urge (f. Nick Hexum of 311)'s "Jump Right In", Andreas Johnson's "Glorious" and a few others...

Trance
I'm a dedicated electronic music fan, most notably my love for the genre has grown out of the extensive channels of di.fm that I listen to. Ordered the Schiller f. Hepner CD, "Dream of You" and it is a stunning piece of artistry. If I'm not mistaken (my trancehead friend Ward was telling me) that Sasha, Ferry Corsten, and Tiesto were sharing the top 3 rankings in the world for EPM. I listen to alot of ambient downtempo and vox, like Rob Dougan, a little Moby, a LOT of ATB, and I've got some BT and Delerium as well.

Well, I suppose everyone and their dog is obligated to make a nostalgia post. That's what I'm doing, so to speak. If you are familiar with current events or have played the XBoX game Mercenaries by Lucasarts, you're familiar with the Deck Of 52 Premise: People are grouped into four categories for being notable (or infamous). I have been working to combine a deck of 52 for memorable people in RuneScape. Most spots are taken, but there are still a few open, and the cards fall into 4 categories. I will release the deck card by card (some I still don't have rs pictures for) and in pieces. This is to whet your appetite. Note: I'm not releasing this in 2-A order for each category, that would be absurd as you could probably guess some of the aces already, and would ruin the surprise. The surprises will then go towards the middle of the packs. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâàÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâãÃÆââââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâÃÂ¥ÃÆââââ‰â¬

Hurricane Rita
I'm living outside of Dallas, watching the advisories at the hurricane center of the NOAA (nhc.noaa.gov) and while they expect a little weakening today, it is also tracking further north and east than they expected.

The biggest badest boss ever?
He was a pain in the [wagon]... "I'm gonna make you scream like a cat in heat"... when I finally killed him, my finishing shot in the airplane ring of fire was throwing a pipe at him for the KO. Xan in the original UT, and the biggish thing in the original Unreal were both formidable foes, but Xan could be camped out. Jack of Blades from Fable was not terribly difficult, but it wasn't a short battle for me. In Hitman 2, Redemption at Gontrano (or whatever the place's name was) was hella hard, until you got to your hut and got the big guns.

Brain Teaser\Riddle\whatever you wanna call it.
There is spelled incorrectly. The word error only appears once in the paragraph, therefore there is only one 'error'. Even at that, there are only two errors in the paragraph, making the statement that there are three errors an error in itself. That makes three errors. Carefully is spelled correctly, by the way.
