  1. Lol at Jay-Z for a power ballad. China in your Hand - T'Pau. I love that song. Or that Belinda Carlisle song. Also does Final Countdown count? Just reminds me of all the English weddings I've been to and all my white uncles get up and start bopping around like they're on crack.
  2. Lol, I have no idea in regards to where cell shading was used. I prefer the first one too it's much cleaner. I just made up the way of shading it after looking at a few pictures I liked, I used paths with the pen tool. I looked it up after I'd done part of it, and the tutorial told me to do exactly what I was doing already. I practised on this picture of a dog beforehand and managed to almost perfect the technique on this one. Cheers for your input though guys. I'm looking to create a new one, my other friends have seen this now everyone wants one :XD:. Luckily it doesn't take too long. Never know, I might do a self portrait, but my hair will be a nightmare to do! Boy's hair is a lot easier lol.
  3. WHO IS HE?? Reb please help.
  4. Been messing around in photoshop recently with a photo of my boyfriend, and these are the results. I think the method is called cell shading, but I'm not sure: With a filter also (I hadn't fixed his hair in this one): I have created a font for this, but have been too lazy to clean up the scan lines, so I've used a premade font. It'll probably be used at a later date as a business card once perfected. Anyone have any tips or advice to improve on this? (Also, cheers Woopidoo for your help :))
  5. What!!! Burn him!! Chuck Norris is the greatest man alive! Burn who? Chuck Norris? Confused. Still no idea who he is. How comes I ain't heard of him if he's so great?
  6. Who is Chuck Norris? He has a geeky name.

    This is funny.
  8. Why do people care so much about talent? We listen to music, hence I'm judging it by what sounds good to my ear, I'm not judging it by the time spent writing it, how many degrees that person has, what instruments they play, or whether they can play the theme to Super Mario Brothers on the piano blindfolded. Most times then not, if it gets me dancing, I'll like the song. Music is not all about singing and melodies. Beat and rhythm are just as important, and this is what this genre focuses on. I am not at a talent contest, I am listening to the music because I like the sound of it regardless of how it was produced. How the music is produced, either by using a synthesiser or an instrument, that still takes talent and knowledge of music. As I said before, music does not only consist of talent in playing the guitar, or singing. Rhythm is thing that catches me personally. This "talking" adds to that rhythm. How people can say one form of music requires less talent than another baffles me. How people can criticise other's personal taste baffles me even more.
  9. Double posted. I R slow internet connection.
  10. Lol. I've been told from voice alone I come across as quite the common chav. Damn my area.
  11. At the end of the day, music is a personal opinion. I don't care any more if people stereotype rap, because it is only a stereotype. I honestly don't care if a bunch of people on the internet don't appreciate what I listen to. If you don't like it, fine. If you want to chat crap about it, fine. Leave me to my tastes, and I'll leave you to yours. End of.
  12. "I av a tik-ET fa YURR." Nigerian accents. "Wat ah yoooo doin' dutty raggamuffin ah" Or Ghanaian. Damn, my friends do the best bush accents. Never fails to crack everyone up. Kinda difficult to even type out phonetically, the tones and that are vital for accuracy.
  13. I'm eldest. Have a younger brother who's 15 and younger sister who's 17.

    That's my idea of heaven.
  15. Ditto. Well what an interesting read that was.
  16. Kinda confused, as I eat only 3 meals a day, but it's not like I can't stop eating, it's that I'm used to eating 3 meals a day. If I had an urge to continue I would eat constantly throughout the day. Of course I won't stop eating until I'm full. Neither do I understand the logical or emotional eaters. Surely everyone is a logical eater, as they eat when hungry. Emotional eater would surely mean something along the lines of you eat to improve your mood. But yeah, regardless of that, I eat 3 standard meals in a day. Occasional snacks of fruit and the such. I am a little obsessed with health, see no reason in eating junk, it doesn't even taste good to me.
  17. Yeah, everything I make ends up looking remotely like this one. I suck.
  18. People spend valuable time out of their day, actually thinking about these things?
  19. DAMNIT! Thought I would be the first to post that one, but yeah, I'd love to be fluent in every language. I'm learning Mandarin at the moment, I'd absolutely love to be fluent in that, slowly but surely I'll get there :P Then your mind would implode from all the different languages fighting to get control o_O. Lol hmm, true say, never thought of that. Maybe I just develop great brain capacity for being able to deal with that, along with the languages? Lol nah I'm chatting. Maybe just spanish and mandarin then. I could go most places with those and English, and get by. Oh by the way, on the subject of photographic memory. I have close to it I think?, I can read off images of pages of books from my head. School used to think I was cheating in exams, but it's just because of when I read it off the image my mind has created, everything comes word for word the same as the text book. But the time taken to get that picture into my head takes a while, it isn't instant. I never learnt the meaning of things, just remembered the page, after remembering the page layout, I can just read the words off it.
  20. Holy hell, i think if i ever see you i will stop in the street and point! Lol. Only repeating what I've been told.
  21. People think I'm weird that I only date guys with a darker skin tone to mine. I don't think that that's weird at all though. People also think it strange I spark up conversations with random people on the tube or bus. I call it being friendly, but hey, British people are so stush.
  22. 3. Nutty Professor

Well I was born in England, but my race dictates that I'm half Chinese, quarter Polish, quarter Black. I don't really know what you're asking.
