  1. You might not flame but boy do you spam. Runescape is only addicting if you let it be. If you ever blow off your friends and family to play the game then there has to be something wrong with you. At the end of the day, the amount of hours you invest in the game means nothing, what will you have after it? Nothing to show anyone. I understand playing it instead of watching TV or whatever, but people who are obsessed, I find it difficult to understand.
  2. I know this question says either/or, but I want to be difficult. I don't want to live in either of them. I don't like general western culture.
  3. I have a add-on to firefox that allows me to download videos off youtube, dailymotion and the sorts, called videodownloader. I don't know how to do it from temporary internet files though, I read somewhere about it, but didn't bother trying because of the add-on.
  4. OK, I am incredibly stereotypical and ignorant and would probably think someone was Goth according to the above. I didn't know goth was actually a subculture as such, I thought it was just another sad category/label that people put themselves into in terms of what clothes you wear and what music you listen to. I wouldn't have said they worship the devil though, I don't really believe these people exist and if they say they do, it is just a farce. My opinion entirely by the way... no fact in there at all.
  5. Yeah I think mainly because of proud, and the fact that Sterling is one of the strongest currency in terms of exchange rate (I don't know if it is the strongest or one of them.) I am completely ignorant otherwise of the EU and I live in the UK. Bah I hate London anyways.
  6. - Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Every episode, every line. - Drawn Together - My Wife & Kids - Chappelle Show - One on one - awful show really, just brings back memories - The Simpsons
  7. Lol, cover of a song not album cover. And lol at your choices anyway. Umm Atomic Kitten did some awful, awful covers I can't for the life of me remember what songs they were. I heard some cover of Faith by George Michael, I think by Limp Bizkit? Not too sure... But yeah I don't really appreciate people screaming on songs. Must be some more I can think of...
  8. Lol at the way most of those are spelled. Reggae, Dancehall, Bashment, Ragga are my ultimate favourites. Or old school hip hop.
  9. I don't care, it looks like you confused your own wardrobe for your 8 foot father's. Lol at "G-unot". I hate G-Unit and everything they stand for.
  10. Couldn't be truer. Most rappers these days have nothing valid to say, they want money and couldn't care less about how they earned it. I've said for the past couple of years now, hip hop is dying into the stereotype people give it. The most part of them are posers, make no sense, talk about crap, have the same damn beat over and over again and have unnecessary swearing. Look back to when hip hop made it big in the 80s. This kind of rap isn't about being "gangstas" and "thugs", or how many women they own or whatever. In a way, old school hip hop sounds like poetry put to music. The same can't be said for today's music. It's sad. Even when NWA was big in the early 90s, all the new gangsta rap was valid, because those guys were real, not acting or pretending to sound "cool" or whatnot. That's what I feel most of todays artists are doing, putting on this front that they're some big bad man, they insist on posing with guns and scantily clad women. This big chauvinistic posing just leads me to believe they are trying to cover something up - maybe their lack of talent, or maybe their lack in another department. Ha, probably the latter. The saddest part is yet to come, people actually copy these people, incorporating these pathetic rappers into their own lives, calling themselves pimps, crips, bloods, Gz, Straight up Gangsta yo..you catch my drift. Their impact on culture saddens me. It has even infected my brother, going around dressing in oversized clothes, wearing du-rags and bandannas, talking about "[garden tools]". Ugh. He even told me he wanted to buy some grills. Seriously. For a genre I like a good few artists from, I'm afraid most modern tunes just don't sit well with me. By modern I mean probably from late 90s to now. Obviously there are still some talented artists out there, but the ones that get the most recognition are the ones that produce utter bullplop. The songs I hear over and over again in clubs and radio, I listen to what these people are saying, what message they are conveying. Hah, a worthless thing to do with most current artists.
  11. Haha^ I love that song. For me though, Turbulence - Dusty A Dirt
  12. obviously u dont like rap...cuz that song was sik Lol no it wasn't seeing as the chavs adopted it as their national anthem.
  13. Slick Rick or Dana Dane. Both very similar, they went to the same school.
  14. I have no idea what either are. Well I know what a goldfish is but I have a feeling it is not meant in the literal sense.
  15. I don't really care about how people choose to play the game if it suits them. Skills can get you the cash, I myself made money from woodcutting, fletching and rcing, and now have a purple and 5 santas, no merchanting involved. But like I said before, each way of making money takes time, so who really cares whether they have low skills, they put in the time to merchant, it didn't happen overnight.
  16. Any type of chicken. Roast, fried, jerk, come to mama.
  17. If it is only an ATM card you cannot use it for anything else other than an ATM machine. It isn't a debit card, it's a cash card. If you cannot use it to purchase things in shops then you cannot use it to purchase things on the internet. A debit card would have one of those symbols on it. I used to just have this type of card, it has no chip and you cannot use it in shops. Now I have a debit card, which you need to be 18 to have here in the UK, this has a visa logo and can be used in shops and online. So basically, I don't think you can do anything with that card. (I am speaking from information about this in the UK, if it is the US I don't know if it's different.)
  18. I am not talking about feeding people. You can help people in other ways, not just by donating money. How can you not see this it baffles me. You tell me I am not helping people? Therefore I am an evil person? The thing is, there is no selfless good deed. Helping others makes you feel good about yourself, so you can go all high and mighty on me saying that you are so much better because one you know exactly how to become a millionaire, and two you are going to feed poor people. A good deed will only make yourself feel good, so who are you doing it for really? To help them, or help yourself to feel good? When I volunteer, I feel very good about myself, that is to go without saying. Anyone would. You cannot tell me that I cannot contribute to my community by not providing them with money. Again that is ignorance. You cannot do something for only other people without a sense of achievement in yourself, hence every act a human commences is selfish. Like it or not.
  19. I said in a previous post that you do not need money to help people. It is not ignorant for me to look out for number one at all, it is what we do to survive it is human nature. I want my own blood to survive before others, that is why the human race still exists. Because we take care of our own, we cannot depend on others to look after us. That is not ignorance. Ignorance: the lack of knowledge or education. For degrading everyones outlook on life, this is a lack of knowledge on your part, for not understanding there are other walks of life, and that yours is not the only correct one. I am not ignorant, selfish, some may view it as that, but that is not ignorance. What I aim to do is what any average Joe is doing out there. You do not need money to help people.
  20. Bah, I still think you are being awfully degrading to those who do not follow your life plan, just because it is different to yours. I and most do not see working as slavery. How can you say that a doctor is not contributing to society, after he has got his degree and is working every day? Your arguement against getting a degree and a formal job is very flawed and you are proving to be very ignorant by dismissing everyone else's decisions because they do not coincide with your own. Just because you see a job as slavery does not mean it is. Your views are not the be all and end all of how we should all live our lives.
  21. But at the end of the day, I want to look out for number one. Myself and my family are my main priority and so those I would want to help first. Of course I would love to help those in need, but if it means put myself in potential jeopardy, I would rather not take that risk. It is very selfish and I will admit to that, but this is what I would like to achieve. I can help others without the use of money, it doesn't take too much time is something I can achieve today and everyday. I volunteer at a youth centre during Summer, it costs me nothing and helps out my community. The problem for me then comes to, if you have a lot of money, how do you distinguish those who need money more than others, and methods of giving it to them. It is all well and good with those intentions, but more difficult to separate the really needy from the not so needy. Hope you understand that.
  22. But if you are not a slave to your job, you are a slave to society. You cannot live exactly the way you wish to, because you have to follow rules, regardless of what you do or how much money you have. I would much prefer to get my degree, work 'til I'm 60 provide for my family and retire. I am scared of this because you can lose everything. Having a degree will surely help you recover, but the factor that you can just lose money like that is not appealing. I would rather only gain income by working hard and making and honest woman out of myself, and appreciate my free time when I retire. There is no guarantee I will win at stock market, so I would rather get a job day in day out where it is guaranteed I will only earn money. It makes more sense to me like this. I finally respect your arguement this time. But my point is that it is not the most ideal way of living. I would not enjoy this, and so therefore will get my degree and work for my living. Laughing at this decision is very ignorant as it is my life choice and a correct choice for me. I don't see me earning money in a job as slavery, I see it as honest and well earned work. I see it as something to be proud of and a great acheivement. I look forward to my sense of achievement at retirement as working for so long will make me feel like I have achieved something in life, and have been successful. I don't believe that is something to look down on.
  23. How many times? If it was so damn simple don't you think everyone would be millionaires? If it was so easy to do, we would all be doing it. You are laughing again at degrees, yet you agreed to them before. With the risk of being insanely rich comes the risk of being insanely poor. It is not an instant way of becoming a millionaire. I would never risk everything in it for fear I will lose everything, because you cannot predict the outcome. Laughing at those who get a degree is only aggravating me more as you seem to think that there is only one way to live your life. Your way. Just because it works for you does not make it the only way, and that working and earning an honest living is laughable. Ever thought that I may want to work for 30-40 years? That the achievement of working so hard only makes my retirement sweeter? That I will appreciate my time off a lot more because I have worked hard? Nothing about what I or others have been saying is complex. It is more simple than risking everything you own and facing bankruptcy.
  24. Your posts seem to indicate that life is so simple. You don't need to go to school, just put all your money into businesses and you will be a millionaire. There is no need for work because you can get everything for free. If you work you are a slave and wasting your time, when you could just simply put all your money into a business and bam, you never need to work again. There isn't much else to grasp from what you are posting. You can only speak for yourself, you can't try telling people that they are wasting their lives, when what you are trying to promote has only a percentage chance of success, and could end in you FAILING.
  25. I am saying that it is not guaranteed he will win. If it was, then everyone would be millionaires. Not everyone has the guts, money nor common sense to invest money in the stock market. Just because it is what you want to do, doesn't make everyone else's choices worthless and a waste of time.
