  1. Other than possibly rune ore mining f2p cannot make cash from skilling like members can. The options that I mentioned will easily double, triple or even quadruple the cash per hour. They do not provide xp of course but it would be INCREDIBLY hard to make 10mil in 15 days with f2p skilling. P.S. Do not fish lobs for cash. It is incredibly slow xp AND cash. Merch runes for cash and fish trout/salmon for xp. The cash is WAY higher an hour and the fishing xp is nearly double if not higher.
  2. Why wouldn't you use pouches? If you aren't going to use them simply run nats for other people since they pay more per run than you can make even with pouches. If you are doing this for xp then USE POUCHES! It will make it go LOADS faster. If you lose your pouches just get them back in the fairy-abyssal realm or the normal abyss place. If they degrade you can leave them in your bank (or take them with you of course) and have the guy in the middle of the abyss fix them for you. Either way your time depends on how you do it. If you wear armor and do not use (super) energy pots then it will take substantially longer. If you go bare and use pots it will go much faster. It also depends on how many hours you play in a day. I would guess that it takes you anywhere from 30 to 60 hours of gameplay without pouches. With pouches you could cut off anywhere from 5 to 20 hours of crafting.
  3. I hate to correct what you said but you are a NEWbie not a NOOBie. Newbies are NEW and therefore do not know everything while NOOBs are not new but act like they are (phr33 st00f pl0x, free armor trimming, etc.) Being a newbie is something that everybody has to go through while being a noob is a (bad) choice. So do not feel bad for using this forum for exactly what it is intended. :)
  4. I am about 80% sure that the hardest f2p monsters are greater demons. You can find them in the wildy. Walk straight north of varrock and be prepared to lose all of your stuff when you walk into the multi-way combat area that those specific demons hang out in. :ohnoes:
  5. Sorry. That is short for the Knowledge Base on the runescape main page. It is on the left-hand side. Click it, then "read the manual". Sorry again for the confusion.
  6. Click the link. When it loads nothing click the address bar and then hit enter. That should make it appear for you. 8-) P.S. I had to edit out some of your smilies since there is a 10 smiley limit apparently... :-w
  7. Buy deaths/chaos or water runes and resell. Message members who post on the runes section of the official forums. Deaths are 270-310 ea, chaos 120-150 ea, and waters are 20-30 ea when sold in bulk.
  8. Same. I wonder how many other things that most of us miss since most of the background items are ignored. Man, I feel embarrassed, lol. Meh, I don't duel often so I guess it is okay, lol.
  9. The picture is sound but where did you get the level changes? If you simply made them up yourself you are most likely wrong. Why would Jagex change a level req NOW after years of keeping them the same? I agree that they are too low but Jagex is not likely to cause themselves this much grief to remedy that. Jagex wants MORE players; not to chase away current ones.
  10. You can make much more than that an hour buying runes from shops and reselling. Heck making 200k an hour with some skills isn't incredibly difficult. Merch runes, run/craft nats, or kill dragons for much better cash (only killing dragons requires a decent combat level). This is more of a price guide than a merchant guide, honestly. Take out the prices and you are left with "buy low, sell high" which everybody already knows...
  11. You can get more cash by running natures on karamja, through fairy rings, on the glider, or, even better, through the abyss. Simply look on the runes section of the runescape official forums and find a crafter.
  12. The butler is probably the most cost-efficient while the demon butler is the fastest/most expensive. For fast levels go with the demon but for long term leveling go with the butler since the speed is not worth the cost. In lots of situations it isn't even noticable.
  13. Sounds like a good plan. I would suggest that you use climbing boots instead of rune boots for most of your training since the added strength outweighs the benefits of the rune boots' defense. The zammy book is the second best mage shield (the EXTREMELY expensive mage book being the best), the best range shield, and the second or third best melee shield (rune defender is better and the obby shield is a debatable tie) for offense. If you delay on the granite shield and buy an obby shield the price for it should drop to 400k or less soon. Either way range defense is useless for most of your runescape adventures. If you are torn on whether to get a sara or zammy book you can get the much cheaper guthix book which is exactly half as good as both the zammy and sara. I consider the obby shield a total waste of cash for 90% of your tasks so recommend getting the legend's cape or, even better, the fire cape. Having a preference for longs over scimmies is absolutely fine. I would suggest using the scimmy for serious training and the long for whenever you feel like having some fun. I would suggest training only attack and defense until you can pc with Affliction and then putting all of your points on strength since it is by far the best xp overall. Dharoking is an option but I find it wasteful, expensive, and plain annoying. Focus on the rune defender first, the dark gloves second, the legend's/fire cape third, and the god books whenever you deem plausible. Good luck!
  14. I have read multiple screenshots saying the opposite (search around and you may find them). The arguement was that this borders on macroing since a program is changing key board input into mouse clicks. If you had a keyboard with a mouse on it (laptop touchpads FTW) then nothing is being altered. Meh, it sounds like a weak argument to me but not worth the hassle either way. While you are doing the work yourself it is not worth the risk of getting a earned or mistaken ban. Just hold the mouse upside-down in your hand and watch tv, lol. As long as you are at your computer you are not breaking the afk rule. P.S. These topics have been posted on tip.it many times before and get either locked or deleted. Maybe they have screenshots for us? EDIT: Here is one that was only locked: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=488 ... h+keyboard
  15. What dark_dude98 said or you had .5 or something rc xp and .0 con xp. Even if you can't see the extra experience, it is there and would likely cause this effect. If they were EXACTLY tied I would assume that it would work in the way that he described it above.
  16. I was at 85 attack when I noticed that it was that high. I would think that at 80s you would be high enough if not already there.
  17. The max price from the shop for chaos is 112 and I believe deaths top out at 224; if you are selling your runes at those prices you are robbing yourself blind. Merchanting anything that has less than a 500k profit per trade will end up being slower than this. You can EASILY make 600k+ PROFIT an hour. I suggest that you start selling your runes (on forums) as soon as you have 1k WHILE you are still buying more. This way there is no down-time for selling and you can remain focused on purchasing full-time.
  18. There isn't one to my knowledge and I seriously doubt that there ever will be one. The runes are incredibly fast/easy to make yourself so few people will ever buy them. The only possibility for them to be desirable is if one of the spells becomes a popular way to raise mage. Start spreading the word about the pot-sharing spell while hiding from other players! If one does come into existence, please pm me! P.S. I believe world 70 is the tip.it (un)official astral crafting world.
  19. I prefer willows but rumor is that oaks are the fastest... they are just very annoying. Either tree is MUCH faster than yew. For the "perfect" balance between cash and xp I would suggest maples. Fast to chop and still worth 100gp ea. Straight xp should be done on the draynor willows (if banking).
  20. Dharoking shades with salve. You won't find faster combat xp (other than range xp with cannon or burying/ectoing/altaring bones) than pcing with a good 90+ group. 100k+ combat xp and hour is EASILY obtained.
  21. RAHK

    Being rich

Provided that you are VERY skilled this is the best list - 1. Staking 2. Merchanting 3. 91 runecrafting 4. Pking 5. Runescape shop merchanting (buying arrows/runes/etc. for reselling) 6. Green drag killing 7. Barrows/DK trips With a good deal of skill you will make gp consistantly with any of those paths.
  22. No, that's the monkey madness one. This one just melees. Thanks for clearing that up for me. In that case, you should have no problems even if you don't use a safe-spot.
  23. While they are all called "gloves" the best set are commonly referred to as "dark". The reason for that is two-fold: 1. Some mod called them that on runescape official forums. 2. They have nothing to do with ancient armor, dead brothers, or anything else barrowish other than coincidental color. I call them dark gloves but technically either way is correct since they are really only called "gloves" in-game. :?
