Time is relative. Fun speeds it up to the person having fun. Vegging out speeds it up to the person vegging. Most movies don't really seem to be 1.5 hours+ even if you aren't having a great time watching them. Not to mention the more you do something the better you get at it and therefore speeds up the whole process. The first time you made c balls I bet you didn't take the EXACT fastest path and probably didn't have your cursor waiting where it needed to be before the click was necessary... but now you do it more often. Think of yourself as a machine that evolves. A second saved each run adds up when making 20k c balls. Those two things will make things ACTUALLY faster and SEEM faster and combined they make time fly. 8-)

Lol you have to remember that a "new" discussion is based on personal experience. This may be old to MOST people but a new concept to some. Circular discussions FTW! I just find it impossible that Jagex would stop whip drops from their original source. Doesn't make a lick of sense but it isn't like I can check it for myself. :oops: They may have just lowered the drop rate combined with a group of people on a run of bad luck. Can you back that up with any facts? It is a fact that the Veracs set hits through prayer as well as ignoring def. The Kq is seen to be using prayer, this is obvious as the symbols are above her head. Prayers may count as def, but they are still a 100% protection. Last Time me and Leester's Went to KQ He Used Black Mask on First Form, Didn't Switch for the second form and hit a 20+ WITHOUT FULL VERACS ON. That is proof that the prayers are just armour. Thats because you can only kill the first form with melee Read the red part. I edited in what he meant. :wink:

I saw this yesterday and took a little time out of selling rune crossbows to spread the word at Catherby, lol. Had about 30 people in there talking about earthquakes, the gods, blah blah. It was pretty funny. :XD:

Gp is ONLY drained when it disappears. D bones ectoed/altared, logs burnt, etc. do NOT drain ANY gp from the economy. With the huge xp and cash from alching it is nearly impossible to keep the gp down. They should stop adding little things that spawn useless gp; like, I don't know, the SECURITY CAVE UPDATE! At 10k a pop per person INCLUDING F2P that has got to be LOADS of gp spawned for absolutely NO reason. All future rewards should be in the form of items NOT gp. I doubt many people barrow for the gp from the chest, I doubt many people (especially f2p) did the security update exclusively for the 10k, I doubt many people pc for the gp, along with a TON of other useless gp spawns. The GP itself isn't a goal and just a negative side-effect, economy-wise. Item rewards would prevent gp being spawned in a HUGE way. That and lowering the xp and/or gp rewards from alching would start reversing inflation.

I think that giving dhide/kharils a NEGATIVE melee bonus would fix all of the hybrid issues. Only problem with that is slayer monsters who use a mage-based melee attack.... #-o Worth the trade-off in my opinion even though I slay WAY more than pk/duel.

There is already a thread (or two) about this. P.S. The higher your damage, the (most likely) worse off you are. Good games are under a minute and breaking 100 damage is often difficult.

Add me as a temp. I don't get set playing times anymore. It is basically whenever my daughters aren't going as crazy as normal... yes they are always going crazy to some extent. #-o Oh, I would think that an equal split would be more than fair since 90% of the reason that I want to KQ is to get a rare drop to appear. Haven't had a dragon drop since a single d med from fgs back when they were like 1.5mil+ and I remember that it was exciting. Chain is the only drop valuable enough to give me that thrill now, lol.

duh-rial talk is a waste of finger tread. Anywho, wasn't this idea in RSC in some fashion? I've never played it but that is what I hear. I think it is a poor idea. Just another way to scam people. Are dueling rings or glories (edge) really that expensive? This would cause, oh I don't know, about a GAZILLION threads of "I forgot I had my skull on and lost my phat/santa/mask/99999BIL/bucket". Pvp, as it stands, is sufficient. This would conrtibute nothing except more scamming opportunities in my opinion. :|

This is a very good point; the older the monster, the more time it could have been killed. There is an equally valid counterpoint, though. Monsters killed in RSC were killed by a much smaller population of runescapers. In other words, there are more worlds/people now than ever before. So, even if everybody from RSC killed, say parrots, from the dawn of RSC through today that might still be lower than a very popular monster killed by ONLY those who have joined AFTER RSC even if only released a year ago. Meh, that was even more convoluted. I will use math for a basic solution: 1,000 EXAMPLE RSC population X 100 EXAMPLE of average kills per person per day = 100,000 EXAMPLE number of parrots killed a day X 1500 EXAMPLE number of days since parrot was killable = 150 Million parrots killed TOTAL. 10,000 EXAMPLE RS2 population X 100 EXAMPLE kills per person per day = 1MIL Example number of... squirrels? killed a day X 500 EXAMPLE number of days since squirrel was killable = 500 Million squirrels killed TOTAL. So... PC monsters/portals will soon FAR out distance all other monsters soon if they haven't already, in my opinion. Not only are they great xp blah blah blah but they provide an UNLIMITED NUMBER OF SPAWNS! No matter what you do there is only a limited number of red dragons (for example) per spawn, per world, and therefore per day. With generated monsters the potential kills are limited only by server capacity (and of course people's desire to pc but that is the same for all other situations). So yeah, I would say shifters will be top by the end of the year if they aren't already. Shifters are nice and aggresive so that increases kills let alone the fact that they like to reach out and touch the VK (which is where a good 40% of your average pcers hang out). Yep, shifters.

They did un-nerf it this week. You just have to have to have a tag-a-long Lunar mage that can do Energy Transfer for you :wink:. Yeah.. but maybe these will make more good one-handed range methods, maybe even make it possible to range the metal dragons (though I still wouldn't know how to fight them, I don't like those dragons :() uuh crossbow is 2 handed how would u range it ud get toasted by its fire Only kharil's x-bow is 2-handed. Plus I am told that anti-dragonfire potions combined with mage protect negates fire as well. I am hoping for a f2p update even though I am p2p... so long as it benefits 80+ rangers, lol.

lol no, people took baths every few YEARS! Even kings and queens took baths only(about) once a year. Wasn't it Queen Elizabeth that said she took a bath every 3 months whether she needed it or not? :-X I think bathrooms in pohs would inspire bathroom humor in-game and there is already enough of that.

I'd rather have my eyelids taken out and then be forced to live in a sunny and dry place for 3 years with no water. Naked. :lol: I'm pretty sure a 'defender' is used to block swords, made of a sturdy and light metal, small enough to block a sword with 1 hand, and counter attack with your weapon. How the hell it blocks a whip I don't know. :-# yes nor have I discovered why you can harm someone with a whip when they are wearing full plate armor. I would assume that the entrails of abby demons are made from stronger stuff than metal. A barbless whip can cut through leather like butter in the right hands so I would assume that barbed abby-entrails would do the same to metal? Or it is just magic. Magic, pssh. :roll: :lol:

It has been completed. Search p2p for it. Zero. I have killed every imp that has crossed my path regardless of what I am doing. I take paths through these monsters even if they end up being longer. Meh, the rewards aren't worth the time involved but it would be nice to complete them.
