I think that the pure ratio has risen. While most (52-3%) players have at least one pure (including skill pures) I think most people who have pures have more than one. I wasn't around back in the day but from what I have gathered people commonly had a main and possibly a pure. I have a main, a staker, a f2p mage pure, and am starting a f2p range pure. P.S. Here is the info from the Jagex pure poll: I have a Melee Pure. 15118 votes / 18% I have a Mage Pure. 11866 votes / 14% I have a Ranger Pure. 9265 votes / 11% I have a Skill Pure. 7909 votes / 9% No, I do not have a pure character. 39275 votes / 47%

I can't believe I forgot THAT nightmare! It is probably repressed somewhere but that was the slowest that I have ever completed a new quest. If it wasn't such a huge waste of bank space I would buy 1k of each just so I never have to make those evil evil things again. Oh, I made the binding necklace and then forgot it in the bank. Was short like 1 or 2 runes. #-o

Buying second placeholding ectophial 500k!!!! Heck I will pay 1mil for one since I always spend 5 minutes trying to find it. Too bad I already completed the quest. :wall: :boohoo:

If you find it fun then by all means do it. The rewards aren't HORRIBLE and even if it cost you loads the whole point of a game is fun. This is sort of like pc except that you gain much less xp but probably make a little more gp (also more risky obviously). Do what you find fun either way! :

The old ecto walk is embarrassing. The only real ones now are when I over shoot my target (especially during pc) and I hit a screen load. I feel pretty cool standing there for 5 or 6 hits while other people are doing their job. :oops:

The misc place WAS useless but is now invaluable since the new quest there. I don't think that it will catch on since it is boring, tedious, and a lot of walking. There are better ways to make cash and better ways to train combat. Getting enough of those snake hides for a full set of the "cool" snakeskin is a nice challenge though.

10 rune since I prefer round numbers. I think I have a black one but might have dropped it. Looked pretty cool with black knives or a black dagger but bank space is more important at the moment. :anxious:

I agree that rs monsters are not very intimidating in appearence. I agree that they are rather "easy" in the sense that they are all soloable to some extent. I also agree that it would be great if there was a monster that required 20 or so people to take down. It would be fantastic if there was a monster that required prayer switches (like jad), hit high (40-50), hit multiple targets (like the kq), had a decent drop (offensive plates and legs FTW), and required some form of intelligence to take them out. The closest thing to that in rs are the dag kings. The problem is that they would be EASILY soloed if they weren't in the same room. One big bad nasty would be great fun in my opinion since I am not a fan of multiple monsters at once. :boohoo: I disagree on the size issue, though. Jad is large enough and anything more than a square or two larger would be too negatively impacted by the poor camera angles. Jad-sized, kq/jad-styled attacks, huge damage, and a great drop would keep me entertained for weeks if not months.

A lot of people who have 99 in a skill have the extra xp to reach 100 if they changed it. If I remember correctly, it would be impossible or VERY difficult to change it anyway. Anywho, gratz to the new maxed player and yay for stat-wipe, lol. RS3 (IF it ever comes) should allow you to reserve your name but have everything else start new. It would be a pain to try finding friends if they all switched names. :(

I would proofread your post, lol. :boohoo: Anywho, I would make all rooms have 4 doors, add a room that provides decent xp for a gp price (i.e. you pay 500 gp per lap but gives double the wildy course's xp), and I would add a more medieval-themed skin. \ I agree that plank making is too slow but I like that it drains gp from the economy.

When I go I usually have a few keys. I always bring 2 spare loop halves just in case I recieve teeth. My best chest was d stone + 1 tooth half (35-40k) or d stone + 3 rune bars (40-45k) I would value the teeth above the rune bars, though, because they are a TON more useful when I bring loops.

I think this is an old subject but, Kq for the solo challenge. :ohnoes: Blue drags so I can use up the 8k or so trout and salmon I have banked. Favorite by far are the portals on pc. Flipping awesome xp.

This is old. You can get multied by any two things that are aimed specifically at you. For example, you can get hit by an evil chicken AND the fighting armor in the new warrior guild.

I know of world 66 and 99. I also know of the air crafting f2p worlds, the nat worlds, and have started a few cosmic worlds. These are all ok but are dependent on others and the average runner/world isn't as fast as if I could clone myself... now would that violate the multiple log-in rule or sharing accounts? :mrgreen: Anything that is directly dependent on others is slow and/or extremely expensive. Sure, I could pay people to stand in a 3x3 square and ice them from 94 to 99 mage in a day or so but they would expect loads of cash for doing so. My point was that rc is extremely slow WITHOUT the help of others.

I would use it to ban rule-breakers. I would change my COMBAT level to 999 but keep all of my combat stats the same just for kicks. Other than that I wouldn't do anything to my bank or stats. Once you can and do anything at any time for any reason everything is never worthwhile again.

The question has been answered... several times. Most people are insecure and/or merely prefer the look of d legs (the actual look and/or the "rich" aspect) which drives skirts down and legs up. I have no experience on drop rates but if skirts are more common then that would result in an even lower price. If you have a problem in a GAME with wearing a PIXELATED skirt on a CHARACTER that is CHEAPER and LIGHTER (?) then you have some serious issues. If they released a bright pink ribbon that prevented you from recieving damage over 10 would you not wear it pking, training, etc? This person probably has issues wearing tiaras while runecrafting. :roll: I had one because they were cheap and efficient. Now I only wear barrows or dhide or monk robes if the task is easy. You should get legs only if you want to show of your "richness" or if you can afford them and you really like their look. D skirts and barrows' skirts look better than any legs in my opinion. All other skirts look lame but if they were better stat-wise then I would wear them as well. Oh noes skirts maek yoo ta gayzorz! :ohnoes: -.-

I find agility the most boring but the most important skill. The worst skill in my opinion is runecrafting because it takes AGES to raise without the help of others... and I am cheap. :-$

WAY too lazy to do that. If my destination requires a walk that will use up all of my run energy I bring some form of energy pot. Boots of lightness are on my feet unless I am training combat, period. Heck, I usually tele from the lumby bank to the lumby tele spot to save a few seconds, lol. Time is money/skills. Walking around raises neither.

Barricade all of the yews in f2p varrock... Completely block off the ess mining path in varrock... Actually, just preventing all access to varrock would be nice. \

Train on accurate. Use all of your pc points on strength. Once you hit 99 strength put them all on attack. Finally switch to defensive style and put your points there. My plan anywho. 8-)
