Quest cape is still off but only one quest left to do after 2+ months of inactivity in game.

They don't have the "ability" to lock their own threads. Author-requests for locks however, are honored by staff in most cases. - Ard

The position the application is for is "Moderator Trainee" so it's really more about them wanting to learn how to moderate as opposed to already having the experience. - Ard

I'm a hybrid, of sorts...but here is some history of a portion of my being... The Clan MacGregor or Gregor is a Highland Scottish clan. Motto: 'S rioghal mo dhream (Royal is my race) Slogan/Battle Cry: Ard Choille Clan members were called "Children of the Mist" as they were said to be able to disappear into the Highland fog at will. MacGregor History The MacGregor's motto 'My blood is royal' is their claim to royal descent. The clan were one of the most famous victims of the Clan Campbell's expansionism. It held lands in Glenstrae, Glenlochy and Glenorchy. With the capture of Iain MacGregor in 1296, his property was passed to the Campbell Clan. They were pushed further into Glenstrae. From then on began the clan's survival as an independent tribe with the Campbells setting up rival line to Gregor MacGregor. After a series of incidents the entire clan had been outlawed by 1604 and it became a capital offence to bear their name. They had become the 'Children of the Mist'. The persecution ended in 1774. General John Murray of Lanark was appointed chief and re-established the clan

We anticipate that tipitchat will fizzle out because enough players will create their own clan chats without needing Tip.It Staff to manage one. After all, we are not Jagex staff and we have a chat function here, within our control. We know there are trolls out there just aching to hop on our chat and annoy us all. Announcement forum threads are now open for replies by registered users provided the thread is not locked. The projected use for such replies are for staff-promotion announcements and possibly site modifications. - Ard

Personally, I don't consider private messages of congratulations to be spam but this idea is worth considering. The forum is only open to Administrator posting currently but maybe we can tweak the permissions a bit if the Administration team is in agreement. - Ard

It might be worth posting up a question on the gallery forum to see if the audience there thinks it's a good idea. If you care to, feel free to scan the forum for the high-postcount threads to get an estimate of how many gallery blogs we have. - Ard
