  1. Monthly? Seriously, do you understand what development time is? And me being "butthurt" when your the one complaining your action bar is too full. I've got 3 spaces at the end of my bar that don't need to be used, make room. Thanks for the personal attack revolving my intelligence. Grow up. You are severely butthurt if your reply doesn't hold much but curses. No, I don't need to make room, I need more room.
  2. Stop being so butthurt. If it was up to me we'd have monthly updates only.
  3. Oh yay more years to wait... I filled my ranged actionbar, yes. Now there is no more room for fragmentation shot.
  4. Have fun living in the past with No updates It's been confirmed already that they'd be having polls to decide which updates to add to 2007 servers. Haha, are they that embarassed about EOC?
  5. Ugh, I wish my screen was fullscreen and my actionbar was double as big. My bar is full already and I have no room for the new ranged ability other then exchanging it for another. Pretty annoying, if Jagex wants to go like the rest of the MMO-world they should adapt.
  6. Nice abilities. Wish ranged was just like magic though. Don't need a monster with -10 percent accuracy.
  7. I'm still in awe of fire capes. :( haven't had one since the release, haha.
  8. I'm kinda tired seeing people want instant gratification. No, your skills will not get you 2.1b in one day. Rome also wasn't built in one day. Patience is a virtue and there's plenty of time...
  9. For the rune armour argument, this is obsolete since Jagex didn't realize their game would get so far. Rune at 99 smithing? Oh yay... ^Xps: What!? It's the weekly updates that will make the game burn-out eventually and it brings so many bugs since the community expects it each week so some things get rushed. Other then that if you can't get the gear you're doing something wrong. DIY please.
  10. Freedom of choice. It should be implented because it should get out of player hands and remove all said scams, RWT's and moneymaking methods. NPC's are just code.
  11. I see no difference. Remains an invalid argument, I don't buy into that. Shielding people away from things that will always be there isn't a solution. Leave the option open and properly educate.
  12. Are you actually admitting that in your opinion hosting is "morally wrong" since you say "people need to learn from mistakes"? If hosting and gambling were good things, there's no mistake to be learned from. Actually, I'm referring to people who get cleaned by gambling, they need to learn from their mistakes by knowing when to stop. I don't see how that falls under "morally wrong". You're enabling self-destructive behaviour? When I was 12 I played this game for hours collecting GP and wasted it all on PvP/Pking. I won some but I lost even more, that was my own responsibility. I murdered other players, still I turned out just fine. We're not your mother, does someone have to hold your hand with everything you do? One should assess their runescape addiction over a gamble addiction if losing some pixels is that bad.
  13. And on a sidenote: what a flawed reality if all gamblers are instantly addicts or ignorant children.
  14. I didn't realize the whole game had to be catered to 10-year olds only. Yes, the age policy is easily bypassed however that only shows they'd want to gamble in the first place. Holding a wager is on your own responsibility, if said player expects to double his bank by betting it and loses it that's a good life leason learnt. Better to realize it at a young age in a game instead of in maturity. . "Think of the children! Will somebody please think of the children!?" RWT'ers have been farming green dragons since they were there, compared to former bot infestions... W2 isn't even full. Keep the small niche and the players that enjoy it to do their thing  As I stated earlier, I want to see it out of Player-owned hands completely and in an NPC-controlled setting.
  15. If you look at any sort of prohibition in human history you'd realize people will always find a way around it. I view gambling as something of lower morals but it isn't inherently bad. Personally I like to wager myself sometimes, you may not condone it but it won't go away. Who are you to judge for someone having a good time? I agree that gambling should be put out of player hands, however it won't go away untill there is a NPC-controlled setting with odds on the house and an additional -10% fee (or more) on player bets resulting in: 1. Hosts are gone from G.E. W2 making it possible to become a tradeplace again. 2. A moneysink/deflation of economy since the fee removes the money out of the game completely and even if some win big, odds are always on the house when it comes to gambling, in the end we all lose. 3. No scammers. For the argument that gambling has a legal age, Jagex could easily implent a screen asking for legal age or permission of parents if you enter the gamble room. Respect to all the legit hosts, Fun times! Full house! I hope Jagex hands this well.
  16. Why is this bad? Should I icebarrage kril from now on? time to do DT !
  17. Yeah jagex made it so that all wands are crap untill virtus.
  18. I didn't state it had to be a skill, i'd like to see it incorporated at the games room as a casino. Have you read my former post? Chance calculation is possible if it gets out of Player-owned hands. And as much as you can predict (which only refers to poker and blackjack, mostly) it's all the illusion of control/gamblers fallacy. We aren't all mathematic prodigies either, cardcounting is a difficult skill.
  19. I think you mean you play the minigame, you get dungeoneering xp. Everything that you can do inside dungeoneering, you can do in another part of the game world without getting dungeoneering exp. It doesn't have a single defining feature other than the minigame. It's not about the name, if they made a skill from playing castle wars and maybe expanded it a bit, it'd make just as much sense as a skill as dungeoneering does. That they chose to make dungeoneering into a skill, probably for simplicity in unlocking stuff and rewards, does not mean that it's not 100% a minigame. Bigger than other minigames, yes, but still doesn't fit the characteristics of a skill. Yeah, not a big deal, but given the precedent of dungeoneering don't expect all future skills to make sense either. Yes; why aren't we receiving dungeoneering exp from entering KBD/QBD lair, KK, KQ, DK's, God Wars Dungeon.
  20. Because a dungeon concept isn't a skill. You raid/navigate through a dungeon to reap the rewards using other skills. I can't see how this is a skill on itself. They made it that way but it doesn't make sense to me.
  21. Hello, could you please elaborate on your opinion? I can't really tell now if you are either viewing it as something good or bad. I view it as something of lower morals but isn't killing another player too ; )? I've only seen the BTS yesterday but the gambling update was most admirable (although I must say i'm also giving them credit to atleast try and revive PVP). Personally i'd like to see the gambling out of Players hands completely and that it's going to much resemble a real life casino: NPC-controlled. Much of the gambles that are in game now have resemblances to a real casino; flower games (blackjack), flower poker (poker), dicing (now obsolete but obvious), ... If this could be inplented in said casino with an additional -10% fee to the house from player bets this could easily turn into a good moneysink to deflate the economy. Odds are always on the house since this is gambling, some may win big but the house always wins in the end. This would rather deflate the economy and W2 Grand exchange could actually becoming a trading place as opposed of more then half of it occupied by somewhat scrupulous gambler hosts, betters and ofcourse scammers and bots. I myself, like to place a wager sometimes, is there something wrong with that? Before I staked and I pked but that has changed too much since EOC. Anyone opposed of gambling I don't understand, you may not condone it but it will be there and as you can see in real life, it will always be there. Better to give it a place and make something good out of it then hate and dismiss it.
