im not quite sure if anybody posted this, but the only apparent reason i can see for this (i dont know about the leaning over the wall), is that the duel arena is the last place where you can peacefully alch without random events. afaik the only reason to take this out was to make autoing just that more difficult.

i prefer to bring a pray pot and nothing valuable except a glory. if i am getting owned, i drink my pray pot and protect item. all i drop when i die is a mith pick lightfeet boot essence and a vial..all i have to do is tele to edge to pick up pouches and other stuff, giving a net loss of 4k-6k.. as for pkers, i never pk htere, i just pk ppl who like to pk there. iron knives+pots+ pray+dag specs=winned abby pkers..

Acualy the flail is much more common than hammers, and the truth is, I was owned by someoen in Torag even thogh I was useing Veracs, the set's defence blows. Anyway, Torags isn't as useless as everyone says it has a good defence and the stats on the hammers are ok, I found myself killing people fairly easy in stake dules at teh dule arena. PS: I've gotten 3 flails, and never had a hammer drop from the chest, so there's why I'm saying Hammers are rarer. It's different drop rates for everyone. I have only had 1 drop of hammers and no flail. But Torag is good for just its armour and atk (like normal weapon and amour) its just it has upkeep. So there are ups and down to both. and of the 10-20 items i got out of the chest, 2 of them were veracs, surprisingly no torag.. neways, flail is better because its faster (i believe, feel free to correct me), the verac set special is ideal for many things in rs, and just that its in more demand because of these.

thats so weird..cuz when i try to load certain worlds stuff like happens to me A LOT!!! would like to know if anybody has an answer if that happpens a ton? plz and thx in advance ~cardsfan~

yes this is what i was thinking because ive been using ruby enchant and ive been getting six im pretty sure this is correct (i can confirm the onyx) and nice guide, very helpful for those who are new to this

ahh, but u dont have to use a rune pickaxe :wink: i personally use mith as its 1kg ish lower than the rest of the pickaxes, and there isnt much performance difference

whenever u go through the abyss, at least 90% of the time the rocks, eyes, or squeeze through tunnel gap will come before the tendrils (i dont keep track of this since ive never used a hatchet so thats why it gets 10%). thus, the pickaxe is the most efficient way since it requires no inventory space to be used (for lower kg use MITHRIL PICKAXE, its the only pickaxe that will allow u to be 0kg with lightfeet and small med and large pouches)

sounds interesting. atm i think this is all hype, just as other updates. eventually (just like farming), this will probably die down, or die completely.

open up an IE page, and click on tools. scroll down to the bottom and click on internet options. u should see an internet options thing pop up and click on the button in the general section labelled "delete files", it will be under temporary internet files. next, click ok. i think thats what the guy meant by cache, so hope this helps. it may take quite a few minutes depending on how long its been since u last cleared them.

i dont, i play in internet explorer, but i like using firefox because of the extensions i said id try that, but i havent been able to get on with finals and studying im assuming u mean for firefox? if yes, then i am

ok i did wat u said, except for the spyware and virus scan. i fixed everything they told me to fix except the disk defragmenting. atm i dont have the time to let it run for hours (i have to turn the comp off at night), but ill try to do something about it. as for the rest, i think i got it all, ill try running it again and see if i got everything.

IE Tab extension is here Good luck with Firefox topic starter. :D I personally use Firefox because of its increased safety(especially with the noscript extension), better built in pop-up blocker, ease of customizability(extensions, themes, user.js file, userContent.css file, userChrome.css file, etc.), and its tabbed browsing. And if you need to use Internet Explorer for something, use the IE tab extension I linked to above and open IE in a Firefox tab :) thx, i tend to play rs in IE other than firefox because im one of the few who enjoy hte soundeffects (and they help in telling what is attacking me in cwars :wink: )

will do :wink: i can only save as bmp/dib or watever..thats why i cant upload and yes i use imageshack on my laptop that can upload :oops: ok, imagine the rs screen is on a graph (x, y axis, center at about where the loading bar is location (0,0) )sometimes when loading, certain parts of the screen will shift position (usually in rectangles) and be displayed at a location completely different from where its should be located. Example:normally if something is displayed at (0,0), it may be displayed at (3,3) or some other number. i hope that hellps in explaining a bit? i have even less technical prowess than you..i have no idea how to check that :oops: i shall try that :wink:

1. Have you tried going to File and then choosing Save As...? Under the part where you type the name there is a box that shows formats it can save as. 2. I suppose you might want to invest in an adblocker? Also try an alternate browser (I suppose you might be using Internet Explorer, in which case try Opera or Firefox i have indeed used save as before. im running windows ME, and i can save is uploadable files on my laptop (xp), but i dont get the options on ME. as for an ad blocker, i used to use ad subtract, but it messes with the new rs world and homepage. i would use firefox regularly, but it has no sounds for rs.

first, let me thank u all for taking the time to look at this post, and here is a list of my problems, and id be glad if u could help me out: .my version of paint wont allow me to save a picture as a file that is uploadable, if you culd perhaps tell me a place to download a version free that will, i would appreciate it .sometimes, the rs screen messes up. part of the loading bar or picture will sometimes freeze or "change locations" (rs whole rs screen will shift a certain direction), and id like to know what the problem is. .and lastly, sometimes these forums or other websites seriously lag my computer, but its stops the second i close the window. its usually not caused completely by large pictures or the such, and help would be appreciated. updates: #1 . for some reason typing in firefox is bugged. kind of regularly the cursor thing doesnt move after i type a letter. (normally the thing blinky I thing moves to the right of the newly typed letter, but sometimes it doesnt), does anybody know wat this is? .my comp sometimes freezes off the start..dunno why, maybe somebody has an idea? .firefox:the IE tab thing freezes on rs, and i have no idea why .a program called "adsubtract" drastically slows down the rs world loading page, dunno why either update #2 .after receiving a massive haul of spyware and junk like that, ad aware doesnt work properly. i got rid of about 120 registry things in all, and about 30 files. but now, when i scan (full system *only*), it gets stuck at about 41k files. if u need, ill post the file name, but too lazy atm .pcpitstop:the virus scan takes years..and i need some tips on defragmenting. i went 30 mins and didnt get over 0%? thx for taking the time to read this, and plz post if u have any such insight that may help me :wink: :cry: :cry:

i remember seeing u lvl combat down at ogres, using full dharok :shock: :shock: :shock: neways, a friend of mine is now training to 94 using stun, and i will probably do that too when i get to the lvl. i think this staff is extremely useful as a utility weapon, when that 1 extra spot can help, or only those runes are used.

gratz on getting chain back! surprised to see how fast u got it back, seeing as i spent about a month in the abyss to get mine. luckily, i sold it back this morning for 24.7m (dropped like 2m in half an hour right after i sold!) neways, gratz on getting it bak, and i hope to read more of ur great posts in the future.
