  2. wow, words cannot describe how much i admire u now  . i remember the time i got my chain, and that was 1 great time. i cant even imagine playing this game without it anymore! especially if i lost it to something as stupid as fish sticks. if there is anything i can do to help out at all, plz pm me on these forums first  best wishes and luck! (pesky pkers!!!) cardsfan/ultimate noob who will give anybody a run for their money in noobness!/chess1991
  3. its actually quite useful if ur switching worlds a lot, saves time for entering the PIN every single load of stuff (like pineapples on brimmy or vials from a store)
  4. i dont, and this seems a lot like spam
  5. lol, i have always enjoyed every single one of your posts made. each time you seem to add something unique to each post, which really makes each one a new and interesting story, even tho they have the same basic idea:being a 116 who seems to not be the best at clicking in exact spots  . i look forward in the future to reading another one of your great, well written posts and until next time, best of luck making cannonballs  , and thx for inspiring me to go to the barrows, even tho i have recently stopped, due to a horribly unlucky streak:300 trips, 1 item  , 75 more trips, nothing and stopped. killed brothers except for karil too
  6. tell me 1 reason why the conga would be more *effective* than follow  . as for this post, its a bunch of pointless cabbage that isnt worth reading. next time u post an idea thats hardly thought out, use this emote :?: so we know that its one of your not so worthy posts. more on topic:i can think of 1892703981270387128937192 different things id rather have jagex update than a conga line
  7. yes i did go 97 times without a drop  luckily, i had gotten torag plate dharok legs and a flail in about 40 trips before the super duper unlucky streak, so i had the funds for all of those trips. i did indeed kill all six, up until karil got juiced, and so i didnt bother with him since the only drop that was good was the bow, and i dont like wasting deaths on him. (i dont really care bout the deaths, its just annoying to buy them from the zam mage) neways, the 98 trip, i got my second flail, and thus i could leave the barrows, since i just wanted another drop to fund some other things that i wanted to do. after that, the first time back there, guthan plate  once again, thx for a great post and inspiring me to try my luck down there :D
  8. You can't disagree with me! I'm never wrong! :P See? You're hot! Ride your streak. Congrats. :D just went to barrows after my superduper bad luck streak. (97 trips with nothing and finally flail, then stopped to lvl skills total and get golden plate from wars) first trip back and guthan plate  . thx to u i started barrows, and im quite a happy man now thx to u
  9. i went 98 without a drop  neways, great guide mr
  10. on the contrary, rune crafting is the most significant reason why nature runes are at their price now. think about it this way: wat would happen if a:all nature rune crafters dissapeared? surely no rune shop has the stocking ability to take over the massive number of nats being created for the sole purpose of high alching. b:say there was an average of 100 natures (im assuming that they are crafted)per every 1 nature needed by a person. would the price stay the same? of course not as for real examples of flux's in rune prices: .rsc-best way to obtain natures was by theiving the chest, and thus rune prices were extremely high (as of right now around 600 per nature in the rsc market) .abyss crafting-greatly reduced time needed in order to refill inventory with essence and to travel to altar. result-lowest rs forum price went from 350 down to 300, and highest rs forum price went from 400-350
  11. the spirit of the game is to have the flag, not to drop the flag in the most remote location he dies, does he not? flag holders are kept safe when mass ppl protect him, and i do consider that strategy i was talking about a person holding the opposite teams flag, sry bout that confusion
  12. y u flame  y u spem  neways, here are the reasons *I* think you posted this: .u want recognition .u want people to thank you .u want to feel better about urself than u really are u did not post this to: .help ppl next time u post, dont post for glory and fame, thats not wat these forums are for.
  13. u sir are a moron, "jokes" dont belong on the discussions& suggestions thread, much less the majority of the subsections on this forum. next time u post somthing, at least try to make it sound moderately thought out
  14. no offense to u mr tip/rs mod sir  , but i think ur picking and choosing wat u want. Why stop at just combat, why not make that apply to non combat stats as well? why doesnt jagex make it so that at the start of a character, u had to pick *1* skill in which you could lvl in, and that was the sole skill you could lvl...ever. would that be fun? i think most people would agree that choosing 1 skill, or 1 combat is completely unfair, seeing as a lot of the fun in this game comes from being able to pick and choose what u want, instead of having a potentially disastrous draw back to a desicion. overall my point is this: yes races would be a great addition to the game! but, it should not come at the price of a total commitment, as that is completely unfair to those who like more than one form of combat (such as me). a more realistic option is to not make classes unchangeable, but to put a heavy fee on changing, like a set percentage loss of xp for the current skill. (rangers/elves will lose a set percentange of their ranged xp when they switch classes) i wouldnt use gp as a fee since either the fee will be far too great for some people, or insignificant to others, and if it is a percentage fee, then people can just give all their money to a friend until their class is changed.
  15. nothing is ever too late! :D It's a good idea.. I *suppose* that may be true, and I don't mind the idea. But I'm still on the fence. I will say this. Notice how you can do anything you want in RS, no matter which skill you trained first. You become a mage, you work it up to level 75, you get tired of it. Now, you can become a ranger, warrior, miner, etc., and there's no disadvantage because you started with mage. My point is that you can do one thing or everything, no matter when. So, I would have to assume with this race thing that you could change back and forth whenever you wanted, similar to changing your sex/clothing with the makeover mage. lpinkus I would hope it would be *alot* of money to change your race more than once... and increase in cost every time :P one thing i tend to like about rs is that it is soooooo open ended. i like the fact that i can switch from ranged to melee to mage so that i can have some variety. i like the fact that i dont have to make a choice about how i fight that could possibly affect the whole future of my account.
  16. even if u make it a mith weapon, the 60 still wont use it  the point of holiday drops are not to be useable, theyre meant to show how long you've played like some1 who posted before me said. pretty much wat u want is for holiday items to be worth something (in terms of game use, not cashwise), instead of a fun item just to be used to impress/represent for how long youve played
  17. Lol. I'm sure you're not the same guy I saw doing it :) Anwyays, there are other problems with the 'cades, as you metnioned. I like that a lot, but 30 seconds is too long. 15 is better. lpinkus there is no way that #2 will be changed and heres why: 1.if u make it so that flag is automatically returned when touched, the objective becomes to hide the flag/flagger and barricade him/her/it for as long as possible to waste time 2.holding the flag adds strategy to the game. if you have ever played castle wars on w2, you know that a single person holding the flag doesnt drastically affect the game, its the people PROTECTING the flag holder that change the game. 3.there is no incentive to kill the flagger, unless point 1 is used
  18. making classes unique doesnt have to mean that 1 class gets a huge advantage by being able to hit multiple targets indefinately. it may work better if meleers and rangers got an advantage on the lvl of multiple targets
  19. Shoot me Pl0x. And I thought Verac's special is to counter the meelee prayer? veracs special negates armor bonus kthxbai
  20. u still get to finish ur swing at the rock as far as im concerned, allowing rocks to still give up to an ore per person
  21. just because there are afkers, it doesnt mean that jagex should ruin it for everybody. basically wat jagex must do is draw the line inbetween tedious clicking and afking, which was a major problem in rsc. think about it this way: wat would happen if jagex took away the make x option for cutting bows. to cut a bow u will need to click for these things right now: 1. 7x per 27 bows to bank 2. 4x+2 button pushes per 27 bows to fletch the total clicks per 1k bows is.. 7*(1000/27)+4*(1000/27)+2(1000/27) button pushes= banking fletching roughly 259+ roughly 148+ roughly 74 button pushes=407 clicks+74 button pushes for 1k bows to be cut no "make x" option .7x per 27 bows to bank .3x per bow to fletch 7*(1000/27)+1000*3= roughly 259+3000=3259 that means that the ratio of clicks for make x option:no make x option is roughly 8:1. would u be willing to make that sacrifice in order to prevent just a few more afkers? all jagex has to do is set a distinct line at wat they consider afk, and stick to that
  22. battles are supposed to be FAIR. there is a reason why there is a combat lvl system with wilderness lvls and multi/non multi zones. how would u like it if the moment u stepped foot into the wilderness u got teamed by 200 lvl 126's using all 3 forms of combat including ancient/normal magic mages. how is that fair? now imagine adding in ur stupid block prayer skill. wat is jagex gonna do about it now? they're gonna add a new got killed msg saying "u just got ur wagon sp00ned cuz wildy is officially bs". this is pretty much wat ur post says to me: PMFGZORZ!!!11on1one11!1!!111 even tho u arent supposed to prayz0rz in combatz0rz jag3x sh0uld m4k3 t3h 1337 prayer that bl0cks my 0pp0nents prayer so that jagex screws up 1ts 0wn sk1ll so 1 can say that i sp00ned a c0mb4t sk1ll. thx 4 contradicting urself in the same sentence k? so by adding this pointless prayer ur pretty much making the entire prayer skill pointless beyond lvl 50. thx for teh well thought argument kthxbai?
  23. scenario 1: .when using block prayer u or ur opponent may not use any prayer .im assuming that this prayer requires a lvl higher than the protect prayers pretty much wat this does is get rid of the whole prayer skill altogether. lets say 2 ppl are in the wild and their combat lvls are equal, only one person can use the block prayer, while the other has 43 prayer. in order for the higher person's prayer lvl to gain any advantage besides lasting longer, he must turn on the block prayer. but since the block prayer requires that all prayers be turned off besides itself..the guy with the higher prayer lvl has lost his higher prayer lvl advantage. how is that fair? scenario 2: .when using block prayer only ur opponent has all prayers turned off .im assuming once again that this prayer requires a lvl higher than the protect prayers say there are once again 2 ppl in the wild, with both having the same combat lvl, except one has the slight edge due to a 1+ prayer lvl (both can use the block prayer). since the other cant turn on block prayer, he is required to turn off all prayers the second the higher pray lvled person turns block prayer on. once this happens, the higher pray lvled person is free to pray as much as he wants giving him a landslide advantage, due to having just a +1 prayer lvl. say they are both the same lvls, and both can use the block prayer and have the same prayer lvl. do u really want a fight in which the person who turns the prayer on first will have the advantage for the whole fight? thats completely unreasonable. if both of them cant turn on the block prayer in this situation, does it not become worthless to have raised prayer to that lvl? if both cannot turn the block prayer on, then the wild becomes a place of mere coincedence, in which battles are completely changed based on having the same prayer lvls. take this situation:a 110 and an 80 fight, each having the same prayer lvl. the 110 is a ranger, while the 80 is a warrior. since they both have the same prayer lvl, the 80 has a significantly larger chance for survival, as he can turn on protect from ranged and get run away, due to the fact that his prayer lvl is the same as the 110's. if the 110 had a prayer lvl higher, the fight would be a lot more one sided, as the 110 could pray, but the 80 could not. In turn the 110's already massive advantage is increased by negating the 80's prayer. since prayer is not a factor, it becomes a fight inbetween the 80's stats and the 110's stats, and the 110 thus has a greater chance to win. If the 80 has a higher pray lvl, he gains a massive advantage, as he can protect from range and any prayer he chooses, while the 110 cannot use a prayer at all. so despite having a massive lvl bonus, the 110's chances of winnings significantly drop due to a slight prayer difference. If we put the same situation into scenario 1 this happens: the fight is much like the previous, except that the 110 cannot pray, but still has a massive stat bonus over the 80. no matter what the difference in prayer lvl is (as long as both can use negate prayer), prayer will not become a factor if one of them has it on for the duration of the fight. If this is true, then there is no point in lvling your prayer passed negate prayer, as u probably wont be allowed to use prayers in a fight anyways, and in turn the whole prayer skill is ruined.
  24. ive lvled from tears from 6-31, cuz farming is so boring and pretty all i want is to have my own willow tree  neways, not a bad idea
  25. afk=away from keyboard  as for it being limited to 3 species, that should give it no such xp bonus, since finding those 3 species to lvl on isnt hard at all. u can cast on the zombies in mage guild, undead at shilo, skeles on karamja and many other places. pretty much, u shuldnt b given an xp bonus from having to atk a certain kind of monster that is easy to find. as for crumble xp, i think that it does need to be semi based on damage, but not to the extreme that u are making it. i think somewhere along the lines of 30 base xp+3exp*damage=xp per cast would be closer, but nowhere near perfect
