You dont need to block him at all, just entangle and use your best spell. You can also pray if you want because it only drains when he's hitting you.

Use ice spells to freeze them, then run back and mage them from a distance. Just make sure you pray on Dharok and Karil.

Ess will probably go more then it is now because now lots of people are selling large amounts of pure ess for 50gp, to make a quick buck. In a few days, because there are no more f2p miners, there will be less ess around and the prices will go up more.
