YAY!!! Atfer killing 100+ gargoyles I got some addy boots! Now I just look like a semi-noob. Hope I will get a nech task after this one! Maybe I will get some rune boots then. Yay..addy boots! And I got a strenght level (str 90) which raised my combat lvl to 111. Which is quite nice when doing gargoyles because i can now left click them. Things are going smooth. -------- edit: WOOOAH...i accidently pressed the 'power' button after posting this on my keyboard when i wanted to press 'print screen' when I was doing gargloyles. So my computer shut down. Then I had an agonizing wait of the computer starting up again. Logging in...but pfeeewwww...i was still alive.

Still starting up my 90 slayer. I got a bit distracted and did a bit of construction but soon ran out of money. I was hoping on a nice nech task so that I finally would get some boots. Instead I got gargoyles now. That means settling for addy boots. But addy boots would be better than nothing I'm doing gargoyles barefooted now in the hope of new boots...Here I am barefoot in full guthan: And this is my outfit I use currently consisting of leftovers: A rune kite (h1), rune full helmet, d skirt, rune body plate, legends cape, glory, and the good old d scimmie. Still no luck...only a g maul so far. edit: I missed a level when I was posting this. I got to 92 hp..yippie.

I finished my abyssal demon task but no whip drop. It seems that I am stuck with my dragon scimmie for a bit longer. I did a clue scroll but got ambushed by 2 mages and died. Next task...abberant specters...Settling back into the routine of slaying. You have to look at things from their positive side. Now that I am stuck with a d scimmie I can work on my strength. :)

That actually happened to me too the first time I bought a guthan. I was so anxious to buy a guthan it slipped my mind that runescape is filled with scammers. I was already at the kalphites with my full guthan and started wondering why I wasn't healing. At that moment I had a good look at my full guthan...yep...a leaf blade spear. I gave up on full guthan then. Got bones to peaches and made it to slayer 80 like that. Then I coughed up an extra 6 Million to make my guthan complete. Only to lose it again when I was so close to 85. Needless to say, I have a sort of love-hate relationship with guthan now. :wink:

Last week I finally got 85 slayer. Was I a happy man? More relieved than happy. Finally I had gotten to the magic level of 85 slayer. So? Would I be going straight to the abyssal demons to kill me some and get some whip drops? No. Unfortunately in a task just before getting 85 slayer I was a bit careless doing greater demons in Karamja members dungeon. I was surfing a forum and not paying attention. Till I heard the music change and I saw I was back in Lumby. With just a guthan body, guthan skirt, and dragon skirt. Gone were my guthan helm, guthan warspear, whip, obby shield, glory, rune boots, rune platebody, dragon battleaxe, a warrior helmet, an assortment of runes and other small stuff. Never mind I thought. I finished the task by ranging the greaters in yanille dungeon and got 85 slayer in the next task doing ice giants. My next goal would be to start concentrating on farming and then herblore. That turned out too boring. I managed 1 farming level. What then? Back to slayer. I sold my full dharok, a load of assorted runes collected during slayer, 4 pairs of runeboots, a dragon med helm, bolt racks, and some small stuff and bought back guthan helmet and spear overpriced. I had a full guthan again, but no whip. I went to the abyssal demons and started doing some with my dragon scimmie. No luck. I gave up. I finished my old slayer task (ice giants), got a Kalphite task, did those...and let's keep our fingers crossed.... YAY...abyssal demons was my next task!!! That's where I am now. I did 100 of them and still no whip of course. However, I am on my way to slayer 90.

A little useless tip from the biggest noob on runescape then: You don't need Guthan to get your kill count up. Bones to peaches works nicely if you do rats or skeletons. Or mix them with spiders and worms.

About 5 times during training and quests. Last time I lost about 10 Million in stuff.

3 days ago. Almost at 85 slayer and doing great demons in Karamja members dungeon. I wasn't paying attention. I find myself in Lumbridge. I run to the bank. Get money, ardougne teleport, strange fruit and axe. I teleport, I run to the boat. Run to the entrance. Pay the guy. Chop the vines. Run to the greater demons. Nothing there. Lost Guthan spear, helmet, whip, rune boots, rune pl8 body, glory, warrior helm, obby shield, d battle axe, some small stuff. what is that? 10 million or so? And of course I lost my ectophial in the process. Besides the run fo shame I now also have to do a walk of shame to get my ectophial back. And a day later I got 85 slayer. And without my guthan I can't really go there and get rich. So I did what everybody does who has shame. I started farming.

Since you can do karil on food without the risk of dying and you cannot do the same with dharok I pick Dharok.

No offenss but i think what you said is silly.Cannons and Guthans make Slayer extremly efficient. At the end of your playing career you may fret on time spent playing RS. If you shave 2-3 months of monotony off of your playing time, thats a good thing. If you enjoy slow experience and getting food all the time thats fine, but you are out of line to judge those that choose to pay for a quicker path to there goals as bad people who are corrupting how the game is played. Where do I judge them? I said there are slayers with cannons that act like noobs, but the majority is polite. Like with everything in Runescape. Some bad apples. I just made the point that it is not always about costs.

I can easily afford a cannon. But I don't have one. I just don't use one because then it would be too easy to get to 85 slayer. I already made a concession by getting a guthan when I reached 80 slayer. I've seen slayers who act like noobs with their cannon. And I have seen a majority who change worlds. Not having a cannon has nothing to do with not being able to afford it. At least not always.

I am planning to do some farming and then herblore after I get 85 slayer. So after every slayer task I visit the ardougne store and buy all vials and then I visit the shilo store to buy all vials. Sometimes there are hardly any, sometimes there are a lot. But it doesn't take up much time now. It's all on my way to getting a new task. I have collected so far 2.5k vials. And haven't really put that much effort into it.

And you might have 43 prayer. But I have 65 prayer. See who runs out first.

Axe Man Jack. I want to ask you 2 questions. 1. did you do all clue scrolls? I didn't initially, but now I started doing them. They slow down the slayer task but bring in rewards. Did they bother you for your slayer training? 2. How did you get rid of your drops? Did you have an effecient system? I'm now 83 slayer and the drops are now piling up. 40 or so rune full helmets, Black mystic tops, rune boots, g mauls etc. Did you take time to merchant? Sell them cheap? Use forums? Any efficient system?

I like green draggy PKers. Gives a kick to killing green drags. It's nice to flee them. Or battle them and then flee them..when they thought they had you. Otherwise it would be like just any other monster. Chop..drop dead...chop...drop dead...etc.

best: 160 Nechs - 4 rune boots, lvl3 clue scroll, rune full helmet, black mystic top, high level herb seeds, 200+deaths and good and easy experience. Worst: Any metal dragons.

And apparently Jagex said it was scamming. Which would make it scamming.

Can't they contact the ISP provider and inform them that this IP is performing illegal actions?

He can get torag hammers with his 600k. Don't ask me about the requirements though. They have this info on tipit apparently.

There is no inflation except for the rares. The rest actually is stablel or deflating.

A very simple scam. A friend asks if he can hold your whip. And says: don't you trust me/I'm your friend. He is playing with your conscience. Just say that you don't loan out stuff out of principle and that it is not personal. Or at least, don't do this with anything you are NOT prepared to lose. edit: i guess it is close to the clan scam.

You do not generate Gp by having a Dragon Drop at the KQ. Without Gp in the economy you cannot sell the Dragon drop. Same for merchanting. It's seems a minor detail, but it isn't.
