In response to Magekillr's quoting of the United Nations thing- Bush is actually absolutely correct. That statistic is both true and meaningless. It's not the gap that matters, its how bad off the people at the bottom are doing. And it is obviously unarguably true that the poor in the US are much much better off than the poor in most countries in the rest of the world. Trying to imply that things in the U.S. are "horrible" and bad" is demeaning to the horrifying conditions that many of the rest of the world live in.

On a very random non-agressive note... I tried to think up some truly great people along the veins of Martin Luther King Jr. Gandhi Mother Teresa that were atheist, and couldn't come up with any. I went f2p pking a few days ago. Had a no armor/no safing fight against another person. We zeroed out on food and prayer before i managed to kill him with both of us having a red bar. Fun? Extremely. Would it have been fun if I had prayed protect, kept my armor on and did "whatever it took" to win? Not really. The fun isn't in winning, its in having an exciting fight.

Have you ever watched The Wire? The series just ended with the 5th season, and it is probably the best TV show ever made. I think you should check it out. I have been very slowly learning that very few things in this world are black and white.

Why am I surprised that your statement comes with a heaping load of irrational assumptions? You assume that parents could just snap their fingers and generate a job at will. In case you haven't noticed, its difficult at times for even skilled workers to find jobs. The current unemployment rate is 6.1%, which doesn't even take in to account people who have given up job hunting because their prospects are so bad. How exactly are two (likely uneducated) parents living in poverty supposed to find these magical 40 hour a week jobs again?

The poor or homeless didn't experience however many years of whatever level of priviledge you experienced before they became poor or homeless. 3) A conservative estimate is that 1 in 3 homeless people are veterans. Additionally, Bill O'Reilly also believes poor people are lazy. This is a key point because of his argument: Lack of education- something that everyone agrees on. If they don't get the educational opportunity you do, what chance do they have? But its not just education. Children need more than a school that is willing to teach them. They need health care, they need food, they need everything that you and I got but they don't have the chance to get. Obama said that health care is a right, and McCain says its a responsibility. So when the child can't get fed or get medicine because their parents let them down, a "health care is a responsibility" policy just leaves them hanging.

It would be a great way to train (money and fast exp), except for the issue of banking (and getting killed on the way there and losing the gloves) and the fact that these brawling gloves aren't all THAT common as a drop. Trying to get serious levels in a skill with only the gloves would require a lot of pking. Still though, a nice bonus to your exp if you happen to get them while pking.
