I'm not selling chaos runes to the rune store, and fighting the guards and such of the city yields very few tokkul.. and they're a decently tough fight even though i'm 103 combat. is there a good way to make tokkul that i'm unaware of? this is one of my first ventures to the city

fairly easy quest... warning to those who are planning to melee the final giant oops edit.. [hide] the giant is lvl 138 or something, but its a lot harder than it seems. It will drain 1/3rd of your prayer every time you put prayer on... he'll let you keep it on for a few swings... got high defense too. I used 8 monkfish and i'm lvl 103 87 att, 81str, 80 def, 85 hits equipment i used: whip, berserker helm, rune plate, legs, boots, obby cape & shield, glory ammy, leather gloves (lol) it might be possible to safespot him because there are some rocks and stuff around, but they may be too tall to attack over, you can atleast hide behind them to eat if needed though max hit is around 18 [/hide]

so far.. RFD. I've done like 2 parts of it now and I can't bring myself to do the rest of it because of what it requires. I can't even finish the quest because I haven't done Shadow of the Storm... I really don't want to raise a cat for these quests, I don't want a cat! :evil:

Ok... now i just started getting into rcing.. now i go to world 16 to do some rcing.. I need someone to define "open" Like, whats the whole trading deal? unnoted ess for 2k+noted ess normal? so at lvl 50 this gets me 125 airs.. which makes it not worth it at all since i'm getting (airs =/=10gp each) 1250+xp for 2k basically.. unless i'm missing something? someone wanna give me a whats what in using my lvl 50 rcing to my advantage without getting owned in money? (someway besides just buying pure ess and make 43 nats per run etc, like trading people something for their stuff at the altar..)

Jagex does have market controls. The amount you get for alching and selling at a general stores are their controls. They give it a price that such an item will most likely never drop below. (I guess rune meds are an exception since they're sold for 10k when they're worth 11,520) Jagex has determined that the real value of the whip is only that of X. If what you can get for alching a d-long is 40k (i have no idea what it alchs for, never tried it, but thats what it is) then the price of a whip, which has stats only slightly better than the d-long would logically be somewhere in the area of it. whips are obviously going to drop until they drop to, or around, the preset market equilibrium.. i dont know why everyone complains that whips are dropping in prices.. that was forseeable from the day they came out.. since they were going to be continually introduced via drops.. just like the dragon med :roll:

easter ring?? i've never heard of such an item.. unless that was this year's easter event... my favorite item right now.. is my ancients staff.. not that i use it much.. i'm just proud that i finally finished the quest lol
